The owner is rude idc if she's pregnant she has no reason to talk to her customers so rude . I've witnessed a lady get her nails done and trying to make conversation..the customer asked her what she was naming her child since she was pregnant and she said with a straight face you already asked me that last time if you don't remember I'm not going to repeat myself she's so rude! Has bad customer service. Idk how her employee stand her they look so miserable working for her . And then I took my daughter to get her nails painted since she's 5 and told my daughter to go pick a color well my daughter picked glitter only so I helped her out and picked a color to go underneath the glitter and she aggressively told me she doesn't need 2 colors and rushed me but I stopped and told her I WANTED her to get two. Came here to get my nails done for my wedding and was so happy with the results. Tiffany did my mani and Nicole did my pedicure. I had a special request to get rhinestones on my ring finger and 10 days after the wedding, all the rhinestones are still on the nail! They even lasted two games of bowling! I got the matching gel color on my toes and they still look amazing. No chipping/wear and tear. This nail salon is a hidden gem. Excellent prices and impeccable work. read more

The girls were nice but this place is just out of date. When I walked in the place was empty and it was a tiny salon. None of them spoke very good English. I got a pedicure and the paint job was no even and the massage was terrible ( wayyy too soft). Also, they don't have a towel warmer etc. so instead she microwaved the lotion which made it scalding hot and very uncomfortable when she put it on my legs. Then when she got the towel to wipe off the extra lotion it was just a room temp dry rough cloth. Also, when having her fix my toenail that tends to become slightly ingrown, she did not understand. I was very unimpressed. Also, it didn't help when I asked about "Mimi" they said she no longer worked there. read more

Had a spa pedicure and manicure today with Natalie and was very pleased. Store is clean and peaceful. They have a TV on, but it's off to the side and not turned up too loud and not "in your face" which allows for you to actually relax. I have been trying different nail salons lately and have not liked any of them enough to go back, but I will be going back to Mimi's. read more

My daughter and I visit these ladies whenever we can. Tiffany is the fastest acrylic nail tech I have ever had, and they are perfect, no bubbles or chips. Nicole does my daughters gel polish, with designs and patience as my daughter is DD. Some of my daughters other friends see them also. They are funny, when I first went Tiffany was a little rough...I told her I was a delicate creature...we laughed and she is very good. (I am a bit over sensitive). She always squeezes me in at the last minute, I am not good at appointments. When there are other ladies in the shop there is always laughing and jokes. I have an extreme issue with biting my nails, so I will on occasion get acrylics. I stopped by Mimi's Nails on a rainy Friday night for a fill and pedicure (since I live in the area). It's been 2 months and I've been going routinely now. I love the quality, pricing, and I love that they don't attack you with up sales. Most other nail salons always tried to convince me to get a new set (instead of a fill), get my cuticles cut, my eye brows waxed (they are NOT bushy), and so on. I now get the gel/shellac polish for what I was paying at other salon's for regular polish. It lasts MUCH longer on my toes (about 4 weeks) without chipping. I definitely will continue to go to this salon for all my mani pedi needs. read more

It's off the beaten path which is why I think I missed it. I read the reviews and based on the positive feedback I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed! This is a small clean shop with very friendly girls. I liked the fact that they spoke very good English so there was no misunderstanding on what I wanted. They do great nails. I had been here once before and had a pleasant experience. however recently I came here and was upset when the lady helping me asked me to pay in the middle of doing my nails. She had only done my pedicure and wanted me to pay for BOTH my manicure and pedicure. I thought about it and I believe it was because I had asked if there was an ATM close by and maybe she was questioning my ability to pay- but seriously? I was caught extremely off guard and did not understand at first. It was rude, and I can't help but think it was because I was the only brown person in the salon and look very young for my age. Would they have asked this to anyone else!? you would think they would know since they are in the service industry that I wanted an ATM because I know people prefer tips in cash. I did not want to make a scene so I paid but did not know how much to tip since my service was not completed.... I was feeling very upset afterwards and am regretting that I did not question this lady at the time. I will definitely not be coming back, as I feel I was singled out which was not only embarrassing for me but also makes me feel I was discriminated. :-( read more

Tiffany is great!! Goes the extra mile when doing your pedi and nails. You will not leave her shop with just "ok" nails. Tiffany will take the extra time to trim your cuticles so your hands look amazing. I just had Tiffany do an eyebrow wax and again the care she took to do a great job. I have been trying many local nail salons for a great gel manicure. I don't like the electric rotating tool used to remove the gel, I don't like it uneven and I don't have 2 hours to get a mani/pedi. I have found my perfect match at Mimi's Nails. The salon is clean, old gel was removed by soaking the nails in acetone and foil and both mani/pedi was done in just over an hour. I'm new to town and was looking for a shop for a gelish polish change on my natural nail. They had me place my fingers in a bowl of acetone to start the soak off, then systematically went back and forth between shaving it off and soaking. While it's no tinfoil (my preference), it's better than the shop who wanted to take it off with the electric acrylic shaper. The girl painting my nails (Vivian) was very sweet and doing well, but as she was applying the second coat of color, the polish was getting bumpy and weird. She said something to the owner (Mimi) in their language, probably complaining about the quality of product, which I guessing from the low flow of cliental has gone bad from infrequent use. You could tell Mimi was annoyed by this and rudely made passive aggressive comments about her employees sloppiness to me, all while taking over painting my nails. All that to say, while my nails look ok ( still a little bumpy), my fingers are dry from soaking in acetone, and I will NOT be going back due to management being so rude to their staff in front of guests. It was very uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get out of there. read more
