Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.

My boyfriend was charged $75 for my simple chin and eyebrow wax and the lady that completed the service was disgustingly rude and rough. She seemed as though she was in a rush while doing both my nails and wax. She continually pushed my cuticle back in a rough manner while painting my nails. Absolutely horrible service today! I wouldn't recommend this place at all. But I truly believe it was the two women I had because the first time I got my nails done at this place, I had a great service and great experience.

The shape and design are completely off, and it feels like there wasn't much attention to detail at all. On top of that, the technician was really rough while doing my nails, which made the whole appointment uncomfortable. She kept getting distracted talking to her coworkers, and because of that, she even forgot what shape I asked for. If it wasn't my birthday and I didn't already have other plans, I would have asked for them to be redone--even if I had to pay for it--because I left that unhappy with the result. I ended up paying $120 and still tipped $10, and the final result honestly doesn't reflect that price at all. You can clearly tell the quality just isn't there. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience definitely didn't meet expectations--especially compared to how great my past visits have been.

Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! Do not get your nails done by Linh, she's awful, rude, disrespectful and just not good at her job at all!!!!!!!! NEVER had I more worse experience in a nail salon my whole life, and I'm almost 40! P.S. she also had extremely dirty gloves on (stained yellow that they started turning dirty brown), that also were ripped on some of her fingers! Jeeze lady, can't even change your DISPOSABLE gloves?!?

That was $30. My father received a simple nail trim and that was $20. The customer service is the reason my rating wasn't higher. My father is in his 80s. He sat waiting for someone to come over while I was immediately attended to. When his tech came over, not only did she seem to keep looking for her next opportunity but she quickly left when done. It made me nervous to see my father get in and out of the chain and even worse when he reached down to get his sox. I kept thinking he could easily have fallen. When I ask for them to hand him his sox as I was sitting next him getting my feet done, the tech was called back over and basically tossed the sox on to his tummy. The reason this stood out to me is that other places we have gone have been more helpful and seemingly respectful. Seeing other reviews, we may have just hit them at an off day or perhaps I was being too sensitive. For me the price and experience didn't quite match.
