Lina had a great solution and did an amazing job matching it with an acrylic extension--you can't even tell in the photo. That said, if you're in a similar situation, I'd recommend asking for Gel-X instead of acrylic. The acrylic ended up feeling loose and didn't hold well, so I had to come back before leaving for a trip. To their credit, Sunny Nails squeezed me in the very next day. Another technician quickly assessed the issue, removed the acrylic, and replaced it with Gel-X (a full, strong nail--not just a tip). The result was flawless--she shaped it beautifully, and I was able to enjoy my trip with perfect nails. The only downside was the experience during the fix. The technician seemed frustrated, didn't respond to my thank you, and abruptly turned off the blue light and walked away without acknowledgment. It felt a bit uncomfortable--especially since I had already paid extra for the initial service and had to come back. Overall, they made it right, and I appreciate the quality of the final result--just wish the customer experience during the correction matched it.

Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! Do not get your nails done by Linh, she's awful, rude, disrespectful and just not good at her job at all!!!!!!!! NEVER had I more worse experience in a nail salon my whole life, and I'm almost 40! P.S. she also had extremely dirty gloves on (stained yellow that they started turning dirty brown), that also were ripped on some of her fingers! Jeeze lady, can't even change your DISPOSABLE gloves?!?

A good set should be thin, not bulky or puffy, with a smooth surface (no lumps or dips), a clean cuticle area (no product on the skin), and straight, even shaping. I'm not sure if it's the products being used, the application, or rushing, but for a mid-to-high price range, I expected better consistency and attention to detail. I was also told it was due to my natural nails, but I've had my nails done at other salons and never experienced these issues, so I don't believe that's the case. I really appreciate their willingness to fix the work, but I'd prefer a place that gets it right the first time without needing adjustments. Especially since those adjustments aren't the best either... Getting your nails done should be a fun, relaxing experience, not one where you're worried about the outcome each time.

I am not usually the one to complain but my experience here was unacceptable. To start off I walked in and was not greeted by anyone until about 5 minutes after arrival. I was then told to sit and wait, after waiting another 10-15 minutes I finally started getting my manicure. The woman was rough on my hands and nails and was not friendly whatsoever, the reason I give it two stars is my nails look decent but the customer service is absolutely horrific. I will not be going back. read more

I came here because the prices were inexpensive at the yelp reviews were good, and I am so glad I did! They are wonderful!! We can near closing, and they didn't do a rush job like most places would. They took their time, gave the longest and BEST messages, and were very friendly. Definitely take a chance and go to this salon, you won't be disappointed! read more
