Throughout the year plus of planning, she kept us calm, focused and answered every single frantic email and question we had. We're a bit of an uptight group so there were lots : ) LJ was a HUGE help as we sorted out our vision and what we wanted -- and then followed through flawlessly on bringing that vision to life. She has an incredible eye for design and was instrumental in creating a beautiful setting that matched our vision at both the ceremony and the reception. One of my favorite things about LJ is that she always shared her opinion when asked, and when she disagreed or thought another option may be better than the direction we were headed, she'd respectfully share her point of view and get us back on track -- but I always felt like she respected what we wanted and supported it. All the vendors she recommended were AMAZING. She was straightforward with cost and how vendors stacked up against the competition. Even though she had relationships with many people in the industry, I always felt like she had our best interest in mind and represented us incredibly accurately and well. We paid extra for her to serve as point person for several shuttle buses. This was well worth it in that LJ created and delivered the complicated schedule as well as communicated with the drivers on the big day. What a load off! LJ provided a range of suggestions to make sure we understood our options (for example, for the Groom's Cake she suggested everything from an elaborate cake from a local artisanal bakery to Safeway and everything in between!), but when we just wanted her to handle something and not be weighed down by choices, she executed things flawlessly (such as delivering our welcome bags all over the Monterey Peninsula the day before the wedding!). On the day of, we had nothing to worry about -- everything that was within her control turned out flawlessly. She also navigated tricky situations with our on-site venue contact, who was a bit challenging to work with, and did a great job at managing her to make sure we had the day we envisioned. I was constantly impressed by her positive and calming attitude, grounding presence, creative vision and her ability to manage complex and emotionally charged situations. We started planning our wedding 2 years ago, and found Sabrina via the Knot. We booked her because of her positive reviews and her pricing, and I can confidently say it was the worst mistake of my entire planning process. Sabrina started off very responsive and organized up until I signed the contract. Immediately after I stopped receiving email responses, and had to text her or call to beg for some kind of response. She had told me I could ask her questions whenever and can have monthly check ins as needed, which I never did end up getting. Some emails would go 2-3 weeks without responses, some no response at all. I started to become very worried about 6 months out when we still had little to no contact with her. I reached out and let her know that I was feeling this way, and asked when we can expect her full attention and she just kind of said "it depends on the brides needs" so I communicated that I did need her to respond in these next few months. Again, ghosted. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as most people who I asked about it said coordinators don't jump in until 60 days out. So many people told me to fire her, but I tried to stick it out. When those 60 days out rolled up, nothing changed. No vendor comms were sent without us prompting Sabrina to do so, I made my own timeline because she took too long to respond to my email and get me hers, I also had to redo my own floorplan because hers was too vague and incorrect. Once we hit the 2 week mark, and we still saw no improvement on her part, I knew we had to let her go and find someone who would actually do the job. I'm still convinced I was scammed, and am devastated over the amount of tears and stress Sabrina caused me this entire process. I am SO glad we fired her and went with someone else. Our new coordinator immediately hopped in and did more than I think Sabrina ever could. Sabrina did give us a partial refund after we told her the contract was over, which I appreciate - but there was never an apology or attempt to make it right. Weddings are a big deal, and I had made my expectations very clear and even gave her a way out if she couldn't do the job. Such a disappointment. Brides - PLEASE save yourself the stress and do not hire Sabrina. If I could go back and redo this whole process I would 100% go with someone else.

During the process, they recommended extra items and also advised against pieces that didn't fit with our theme. I really appreciated how ethical they were and how trustworthy. They came to deliver our items at the appointed date and time on the weekend and picked up the next day. And what's even better? They put them exactly where we needed them! Another local company (won't mention the name) brought the other items hours late and dumped them at the base of our driveway. The difference between White Rabbit and the other Santa Cruz company were astounding, and not in a good way. I highly recommend White Rabbit and no, I was not paid to leave this rating.
