Came in recently and the space looks way better than before. We havent came back in a while since…read morewe been exploring other places. The new renovation definitely feels more elevated, and honestly Vancouver needs more spots like this where you can enjoy a nicer atmosphere without having to drive into Portland. Service was great, staff was professional, attentive, and overall gave off a good vibe. It actually felt like they enjoy working there, which makes a difference. I did read on their webpage that they aim to bring authentic Japanese and Korean food. Personally, wouldn't consider it fully authentic, especially if you've traveled to Japan or the mainland, you'll notice the difference. The food leans more toward American style Japanese/Korean cuisine. That being said, the food was still good and satisfying. Not authentic, but enjoyable. We would come back and are interested in trying more items on the menu. I'll update my review if anything changes.

Didn't get to get a picture of the new look inside but it was very beautiful w the white centered tree. Wasn't busy when me and my sisters went around 3 pm. The food: was amazing! I got the Dia-bowl ramen and Gyoza. The Dia-bowl is actually very spicy, would only recommend if you love spice. My sisters got the Korean Bulgogi which she loved, and The Original Ramen bowl which she also said had great flavor. Would come again!

Stopped by here to try their Pad Thai after it was recommended to me by someone at a nearby Target…read more The noodles were cooked just right, and not dry. The meat was of good quality and they also provided lime. There was outdoor seating as well as plenty of parking nearby. The waiter was very polite and checked on me to make sure everything was ok and whether I needed more water. Overall it was a solid experience right next to the mall and I will definitely come back here again.

Man I feel bad writing this, apparently I ate here in 2019 and didn't remember. I uploaded pics…read moretoo. Came back recently and had the curry puff (not bad but breading is a bit too thick for my personal preference but maybe needed to securely hold in the goodies), baa me hang, and kuay teaw reau (boat noodle soup). Our food, especially the boat noodle soup was not very hot, almost lukewarm which was a bit odd. Flavor of the boat noodle soup was great though! Some other places sometimes taste more watered down. The sauce in the baa mee hang was too sweet and noodles too soggy for my preference as well. Overall just an ok meal and wouldn't come back but glad to have this option in the area! Don't let my preference persuade you otherwise as they are consistently busy so they have a clientele to continue to support them. And just so it's clear, it was good enough I still finished the food! But the spice rack came in handy to help cut through the sweetness

First time here... and staff was great. Very good service…read more I ordered the Tom Kha Ramen soup (takeout) as I wanted to try it. I then went next and did some quick shopping... and picked up the soup when I was done. It was waiting for me even though I was not gone long. Got home, put everything in a bowl... and tried to make it pretty! Chashu pork portion was small, but it tasted fine. The three shrimp included were yummy and large. The soft eggs were ok, as were the bean sprouts and herbs. The broth was sort of like a cross between Tom Kha and Tom Yum.... tasty though. The ramen noodles were basically one solidified block by the time I got home, so I just cut them up a bit before eating. I will have to try some of their other dishes too....

We popped in here for lunch. It was pretty quiet but had lovely staff…read more We tried the steamed dumplings, pineapple fried rice, and the kahri noodles. The dumplings were very good. Looks can be deceiving but they were perfectly cooked, filled with meat and the sauce they came in was savory and sweet. The pineapple fried rice was lacking in a bit of seasoning/flavor. Texturally it was very good, cooked well. Adding in some sambal helped. The kahri noodles were very good, reminded me of drunken noodles. It states it's spicy, but there wasn't much, even with asking for extra spice. Overall I would definitely try again, but it wasn't spectacular.
