This little ramen house is still just as good a year later! Same friendly staff and the ramen is excellent. I tried the chicken curry ramen this time and I liked it just as well as the spicy creamy chicken ramen as I had last time. If you love ramen and live in the area, you don't need to go all the way to Portland to get it. Go here!
Went there last week for a quick dinner Ordering is thru scanning using your phone..... We ordered a veggie noodle base soup and another one with pork belly with garlic based black soup. They were both very good taste and fresh made....no complaints Enjoyed it
Food 4.5/5 flavor profiles are legit; amount of meat to rice for currydon has room for improvement. Would like to see the addition of sauces and condiments to compliment the ramen and curry. Drinks are bottled; sweet tea was sparkling which was uncommon for us. Being from Hawai'i, the food was great in comparison, just wish there was more than 3 pieces of chicken and 1 pork cutlet (crispy pork). Service 5/5 friendly customer service and prompt delivery of food. Quaint restaurant that can seat about 25 people comfortably. Most definitely will be back.
We came in the afternoon. I really like this place. It's bright and clean. Same with the restrooms. Ordering is very easy and the service is excellent. We ordered the 12 piece chicken wings dry rub with a few sauces on the side. These are so tasty and crispy. Perfect chicken wings if you're a dry rub fan like me. Tempura shrimp-crispy, crunchy deliciousness. You can taste the tender shrimp clearly. The sweet chili sauce dip is a perfect compliment. We ordered creamy curry chicken Ramen, and the tonkatsu. They.com a good sized bowl and steaming hot. I love the perfectly cooked creamy egg. The noodles were perfect as well. I asked for some chili crisp, which they did not have. He brought some Korean chili powder. I also added soy sauce. The chicken in the creamy curry was flavorful and tender. The pork in the tonkatsu was a delicious bite. Definitely a good choice if you're craving Ramen or other tasty delights.
The service alone was 10/10...our waitress was so sweet and excited to help us since it was both our first time. She walked us through all the ordering options and was super accommodating. We ordered the pork bun, but my friend doesn't eat pork, so she offered to substitute karaage chicken instead...which ended up being delicious. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen and my friend got the Spicy Creamy Chicken. Both were really flavorful and hit the spot (ramen overall 8/10). We also tried the Ume sparkling drink to finish, which was refreshing and unique. Great service, solid ramen, and definitely a place I'd come back to.
Made it in right about the time they opened. They got pretty busy pretty quickly, but the service was spot on. Our croquettes came out a little slow but were delicious! The ramen was great and was plentiful enough to take home for seconds. Great value. Great vibe.
This gem is located in what used to house BurgerIM, inside a small strip mall behind the Costco. When you sit down there are three ways to order. From the table via a QR code (order, pay, all of it right there, via a kiosk, or they do have the ability to order at the counter. I started off with Takoyaki, which came out after a few minutes. It was well battered, hot, and flavorful. The bonito shavings on top were smoky and delicious, and the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Plus the salted, pickled ginger was a wonderful addition to make it less heavy. My main dish was the Rakuzen Red ramen. It had a creamy pork based broth, with tender pork, black fungus, bamboo, and delicious noodles. It also had a bit of spicy oil which gave it a wonderful flavor. They also had Kirin Ichiban beer on draft, which was delightful and crisp. Overall the entire experience was top notch. Hands down the best ramen and service locally in the Vancouver area.

I can't believe that Crispy Pork Bun was down the street from me this whole time! My husband and I came in around 12:45 after a walk at Lacamas Lake. We've been watching Culinary Food Wars on Netflix and I've had this spot bookmarked for a long time. Not to mentioned - it's next door to the sweetest dental office! The inside is SUPER clean. They offer three ways to order (Kiosk, counter, QR code) and someone checked in on us frequently. I feel in love again today - me and that pork bun. So good!! Also loved the chicken Don Buri. They played relaxing music and it was nice and quaint. Greta flavors, great prices - can't wait to come back for more!
I came here late afternoon to try their ramen, I've heard a bit about this place. There is good amount of parking since it's right next to a Costco. Surprisingly, when I arrived here at around 4pm, most of the tables were filled. This restaurant isn't super big, but has a decent amount of seats. I also didn't think most folks eat ramen this early for dinner, but anyways there was one wait staff and what looked like two folks in the kitchen. I saw that food came out pretty quickly. However, when I got in, I was told to take a seat and I didn't realize to place an order I had to scan a QR code. Anyways, they have a kiosk, you can go up to the front or order via QR code. I got their Chicken Karaage which let you choose spicy mayo or regular mayo. I choose the regular one. The karaage came out piping hot and crispy. I do wish I had a wedge of lemon to squeeze lemon juice on top rather than a thin round slice... the karaage was moist and they use dark meat. They are pretty big in size for 4 pieces too. I also got their Rakuzen Black ramen which was on the recommendation list on the menu. It came with a good amount of noodles, lots of corn, black fungus, bamboo shoots, chashu and half a seasoned egg. The broth itself was mediocre for me, didn't have the richness of a tonkotsu broth but maybe that's why they put its pork & chicken broth on the description. When getting ramen I care a lot about the broth and it wasn't special. Considering the Camas/Vancouver area doesn't have many ramen spots, this is a good start. The chashu pork for me was dry even though I tried to rehydrate it with the ramen broth. They do give lots of chashu pork for the ramen which I appreciate, just the pork needs a little bit more fattiness. The half seasoned egg was good, wish it came with a whole one. Overall, this place is okay. It's a nice spot to get ramen if you don't want to go to Portland. Food comes out quickly too, and good portion size for the price.

Nice and clean. Despite the name being a ramen place, the ramen was alright. A good broth is key for a good ramen. However, the soup felt very two dimensional ( I've had worst.. so not one dimensional ) . It was not as flavorful, but the ramen eggs were better than expected. The egg was gooey, sweet and savory. Everything was okay. Not great but passable. We've got the red ramen and the curry chicken ramen. The red ramen came with 3 pieces of pork chasu. They were definitely on the smaller side, but were ok. The noodles almost tasted like instant noodles- not great. The curry chicken ramen tasted watery. The broth did not have a lot flavor. This ramen comes with "chicken chasu" which was a bit dry and not common for a ramen place. All in all, not bad. It definitely gives me the vibes of a "wannabe authentic Japanese restaurant". It may be a 3.5/4 if you go in expecting not an authentic Japanese cuisine. Service was great though, no complaints! However we were the only party that dined in.

We were greeted and seated immediately and the staff were super friendly offering recommendations when asked and very kind and attentive. There are TVs playing above and one had anime going which my son recognized as a classic long running show. The menu was easy to read and choose from. They offer great food choices on the menu, but I see more options listed here on Yelp! The Chicken Karaage we devoured and I didn't grab a picture in time but so crispy and really good sauce! We went for the Rakuzen Black (my favorite, with black garlic oil) and the Rakuzen Red (my son likes spicy). The drink choices were great! I highly recommend the peach ginger green tea or the matcha blueberry lavender. They were so good we wanted to take some home with us to enjoy!

The food is pretty good and the staff are friendly. You can order via QR code or through your waitress which was convenient. It is smaller inside than expected, but it is nice, clean restaurant. Although the staff were friendly, it is worth noting that the service was pretty slow. A few of our items were missing originally. read more

Waiting for all the kids to get haircuts just down the way meant, by the time they were finished, we were all famished. Rakuzen seemed like out best choice, as even the pickiest of kids loves ramen. Turns out, I was the pickiest of the bunch, this time! Between all of us, one of the kids had the Kids Ramen bowl, the other one wanted buffalo wings and fries (OK, so I was wrong about everyone liking ramen, apparently!), my wife ordered the Spicy Miso, I had the Rakuzen Red (with the Rakuzen Inferno add-on), and some gyoza to share. When everything arrived (slightly staggered, but reasonably fast and close enough together not to be an issue), everyone dug in, and was notably happy with their selection...except me. The Rakuzen Red was...bland. Really bland. And not only that, it wasn't spicy at all, even with the Inferno added! My wife's Spicy Miso was spicier, and far more flavorful. I thought maybe it was just me and my burnt-out-from-eating-spicy-everything-everyday taste buds, but my wife confirmed what I was experiencing. It was disappointing, but the only downside of an otherwise excellent meal, enjoyed by everyone else at the table. I'll chalk this one down to me being the problem, this time. Ordering and paying happens at one of the stand-alone kiosk stations scattered throughout the interior, although the servers can assist, or take your order themselves, if requested. As mentioned, orders arrive reasonably fast, and the servers are attentive enough despite being somewhat removed from the action. Rakuzen* didn't exemplify the "joy of dining" for me, but I seem to be the odd man out, so bear that in mind when checking this place out, and feel free to ignore the grumblings of an old man who didn't get his tongue lit on fire for once. I'm sure others will find the rakuzen in a steaming hot bowl of ramen here, as long as they're not expecting to break a sweat. *rakuzen means "joy of dining" in Japanese. read more
Went here for the first time today. This is a small strip-mall place but the service we got was excellent. The server was friendly and attentive. Even though this place has counter service he came out from behind the counter and took our order. We enjoyed our ramen! I got the spicy creamy chicken and my companion got the "regular" creamy chicken recipe. The broth was delicious and there was plenty of chicken and other ingredients. This is a great place for a quick and yummy lunch. read more
Tontkotsu Ramen was soo good, flavorful and not too salty cause I asked for lower sodium.The currydon was good, a little spicy, felt a little skimp, needed potato. The Takoyaki and potato croquette was soo good. Honestly a great spot, definitely coming back for their ramen. In the plaza close to Costco but lots of parking. You can scan the QR code on your phone, use the kiosk or order in person. Pretty nice interior and the staff was friendly. read more
You can never have too many ramen joints and Razuken is a nice addition to Camas. Had the ramen and karaage and it was good. Everything was good, but not great. The main issue was the noodles which didn't have the right chew and texture. Not a terrible issue but wish they would use Sun ramen like many other restaurants do. The karaage was good too. Service was good, the venue is nice and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back for sure. Check it out. read more

I love ramen & to know that possibly I won't have to drive to Oregon to get some was very exciting. This place was very hi-tech & updated. You can either order on the computer by the door, scan the qr code & order on your phone, or go to the counter. Our friends were telling us how the picture of the gyoza on their instagram looked really good, so we had to get that. We decided to order on our phone & I like that you are able to customize your ramen, like if you don't want certain things in it. I went with the tonkatsu ramen & I'm not a huge fan of bamboo shoots, so I got mine without them. The ramen was so savory, lighter broth which I liked. Very tasty. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The gyoza was just as delicious as it looked in photos. Dipped in the sauce, yum. Highly suggest that. WIll definitely be back! Yay for a yummy ramen spot close by. read more

It's great to have a tasty simple ramen choice in the East Vancouver/Camas area. It wasn't the best nor the biggest portion of ramen I've had in the Portland area so 4 stars. Most ramen bowls were about $15, which is a bit more than other shops. And portions were smaller in size in comparison to other shops. On the plus side, all the tastes for each item, especially the broth were on point. And you get plenty of cha shu and corn though having a whole egg would be nice. Decor and ambiance are fairly minimalistic for this shop in this strip mall. Service was excellent, though more counter service than wait-staffed. This place is an excellent choice if you're in the area and don't want to cross over into the Portland side. read more
Love this local ramen joint right next to Costco, perfect lunch date place when doing errands! So far everything I've gotten is tasty - only reason not giving 5 stars is the soup broth could be more hot. But regardless we come here all the time. The woman who works there is always super sweet and friendly, love chatting with her! Our go-to's: -Rakuzen Black Ramen -Pork and Chicken Gyoza -Plain chicken wings Enjoy! read more

The ramen bowl looked steaming hot but once you start digging in the temperature wasn't really hot. It was just warm. I ordered the vegan ramen bowl. The flavor was there but I didn't like the noodles. If you don't mind the temperature and the kind of noodles this might be the place for you. Food was flavorful. Ambience was casual. Gluten free review: We saw this fun little ramen house so we stopped in and had some warm ramen! Good news they cater to gluten free. Score! When you go in you sit at the table, scan the bar code, order and pay. No worries though if you prefer to order at the counter you can. They were knowledgeable about gluten free so that made me happy. They were all very nice. The counter has cute lights. I love the little atmosphere created. Simple and fun. We went there the first time and got the pork and chicken Tonkotsu. Was not a favorite of mine. It has a chicken soup flavor to me. The chicken wasn't my fave either. I give it a 3 out of 5. But still go in and give it a try. We went back and tried another ramen. I got the miso with pork. I thought it was yummy! I would definitely get it again! I give it a 5 out of 5. The gluten free noodles were good. My daughter got the Rakuzen Red. She gave it a 5 out of 5. The bowls are a good size. The price is around 15.00 a bowl. They have a kids bowl for about 10.00. Everything was warm cozy and delicious. They have seaweed salad that's gluten free. I didn't get it this round. It looks like they have some fried Brussels sprouts and Edamame you can possibly get without sauce. If you're looking for some local yummy ramen and you're gluten free please go and try this place. Reviewing this while still at the restaurant. This is one of those Ramen places that can't keep the temperature hot because they will throw in the cold toppings on top. The egg was cold. They should know better than to do that as Ramen should be served piping hot. I don't believe they make their own noodles. Not really a fan of the noodle. Having said those, the Ramen flavors are there but they will need to work on keeping it hot. Looks like we will still continue to drive to Beaverton to get our Ramen fix. read more
TL:DR: very flavorful broth! The Chicken Karaage is a must get! Karaage Chicken: THE best karaage I've ever had. The chicken is cooked to perfection and is not dry at all and the breading is perfectly crunchy and not too thick! It's like the chicken was coated in chips! Creamy Chicken: really flavorful! The "cream" in the chicken broth is purely from the chicken being cooked for so ling which is amazing! Tonkatsu Black: my personal favorite flavor and is very rich! The noodles are a perfect Al dente texture. The yolk in the egg has a great jelly consistency! I love the freshness of the green onions. The corn adds a nice popping sweet flavor with each bite. The bamboo has a nice flavor as well and the mushrooms add a great texture! read more

The food here was kind of bland. Not too flavorful at all, from the appetizers to the soups. But I will say the presentation was beautiful which would be carrying the 3 start otherwise I would rate it a 2. Customer service was fair. Overall I think they could a little more salt or seasoning to the food. read more

Tried Rakuzen Ramen for the first time and it was good! Service and ambience were amazing! Our ramen were both lacking a bit of flavor. We had to add more seasoning once we got home. I love the vegetables in the creamy chicken! I love how it all comes with the ramen and you don't need to pay extra for vegetables that should be in ramen lol. The spicy cream chicken was better! Loved the broth and flavors were flavoring more than the creamy chicken. Definitely get the Potato croquettes! It comes with 2 big pieces and it was scrumptious! Definitely will come back to try other menu items! read more
