    Our " tostones " ‍
    Daniel M.

This place messes up our orders 4/5 times. Today we ordered to plates of chicken stew they didn't bring send beans with the meal. Also we order tostones and they gave us a side of avocado instead... when the foods good it's good but 90% of the time it's disappointing and missing stuff. We keep trying because we used to love it but it's getting worse every time. Not to mention getting extra mojito is like asking for solid gold bars!

What a refreshing meal! Solid recommendation for Mina's Spanish Kitchen!

First time ordering Delivery they told me I had to use DoorDash. NEVER AGAIN will I ever use that site to order food from them! Not only was the restaurant not able to resolve the missing things on their site but also had no answer about the missing driver !!! The driver ended up taking 2 HOURS to get my food to me when I live 10 mins away from the restaurant! My salad was completely soggy from sitting on top of hot food for the entire time. What a huge disappointment! Your restaurant should rethink using DoorDash when the drivers are driving from an hour or more away!!!!

The food is absolutely outstanding fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. And I have to talk about that green sauce they serve on the side... whatever magic is in it, I could seriously put it on everything. It's that good. To top it all off, I tried their tres leches cake and it was perfection, moist, rich, and not overly sweet, just the way it should be. Amazing food, wonderful people, and flavors that keep you thinking about your next visit. Highly recommend!

Also we went at night and the food was dry-ish, plantains were not fresh and yammy as u love them. Oxtail was dryyyy. Yukka (for extra $2) was dryyy. From the meat options we got the best was chicken, chicken in my (super salty) soup was perfectly cooked. Grilled chicken was great too, juicy with crunchy skin. Beans were cooked perfectly. Too much rice in every plate and not enough beans though. I really do t know if during lunch time all that food was freshly cooked and juicy and just got dried up by dinner time. I might give it another chance if I am in the area and super hungry, cos it was generously served.

The food is still great. We had scallops, chorizo, brussels sprouts, and a flounder ceviche special. Everything was delicious. The ceviche in particular stood out -- fresh, well-portioned, and nicely "cooked" in lime juice. The sangria is still a highlight too. A big carafe, no ice watering it down, served with glasses full of fruit. The problem is the service. They had two servers and one bus person, and it showed. Everyone seemed to be scrambling, and it was hard to get a moment of attention to ask for anything or even be heard. Our food came out in pieces -- three items, then a long delay, then another. The last dish, calamari, never came. When I tried to tell the waiter we didn't want it anymore if it was forgotten, he didn't listen and insisted on bringing it anyway. We ended up waiting even longer, which just made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, they're now adding an operating/service fee (around 3-4%), which wasn't clearly communicated and just showed up on the bill. It's disappointing because the food is still very good, but the service issues -- and now the added fees -- are taking away from the experience. After this visit, we'll think twice before coming back.

This restaurant is known for authentic Spanish small plates, generous paellas, imported Spanish ingredients, decadent desserts, and wonderful warm bread to start your culinary meal with. The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. The waitress was so sweet and friendly, and though she didn't speak a lot of English, she still made us feel very welcome. The food was AMAZING! We had never had Ecuadorian food before, and will definitely be coming back. The portions are HUGE, and the prices are sooo cheap especially given how much meat and seafood was on our plates! We got: 1. Pollo Cabaña: It was a little salty but soooo flavorful and it came with so much rice!! The chicken was really tender, and the plantain was grilled perfectly. Yum!! 2. Camarones Al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) w Tostones (Green Plantains): The tostones we're delicious!!! Especially with the sauce, which was amazing and so garlicky and flavorful. Both the shrimp and the rice pair well with the sauce, which is so intense and packs a flavor punch! 3. Sopa de Mariscos (Seafood Soup): I was so impressed by how much seafood was in the soup-it came with generous portions of crab, mussels and shrimp, and the rice noodles in the soup were tender and delicious. I can't even describe the flavor of the soup, but it's creamy and not too fishy and tasty. 4. Mar y Tierra (Grilled Meats): This came with SO much meat-beef, chicken, fish, and shrimp! The beans that came on the side were flavorful and delicious with the rice, and the meat-especially the chicken-was perfectly grilled and juicy. 5. Carne Apanada: This was breaded beef, and it was thinly pounded and so crispy and yummy!! Even the white rice that came with several of the dishes was flavorful-it had coconut milk in it, I think. They put so much effort into all the dishes and little details. I am so impressed!! You should pay with cash to avoid the 4% card fee, and the parking lot is very tight, so prepare for that! But if you want an authentic, delicious meal, this is your place!! 10000/10 stars!
