The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Bold, delicious flavors. Food was very well seasoned. They had many small shareable plates. We had the octopus which was very flavorful, had a delicious charred flavor and melt in your mouth taste. We also had the potatoes with tomato sauce. The red sauce was delicious and went very well with the crispy potatoes. For our heavy meal we had the Steak Paella. The BEST Paella I have ever tasted. The steak was perfectly bc oiled and seasoned. The chorizo was one of the best tasting chorizos I've had in a long time, it had olives that gave it that little extra saltiness that went perfect with the rice. The paella had chicken as well that mixed with the rice was a perfect bite. We ordered a pitcher of the red sangria which was perfectly balanced, not overpowering sweetness like most are. Very well balanced, refreshing and went perfect with the food we ordered. For dessert we had the creme brûlée cheesecake and it was melt in your mouth with that crunchy caramel topping. Absolutely delicious! We will come back in the fall to experience Tarrytown and enjoy another great meal here. We honestly can't stop raving about this place!! You NEED to eat here!!

Celebrated a friends 30th birthday. The food, service and ambiance was on point. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be coming back!

Everything was delicious and authentic. The paella for 2 fed FOUR of us. Incredible portions. Warm and welcoming staff. We'd definitely come again.

Celebrated Father's Day early! We waited for few minutes before we sat down. Authentic Spanish food in the area! The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and pays attention to our needs. Food also came in fast, appetizers were beyond words and came immediately. We had seafood paella for four but it looks like it's good for 10!!! The paella came with different seafoods such as shrimp, squid, mussels, shrimps and clams. We had croquettes, baby squid and scallops. Which are all so good! Place is a bit small but ambiance is good, minus the lady in the bar shouting and yelling. Other than that it was a great night! Also, did I mention about sangria?! We tried the red and white and so far both taste so good but my personal favorite is white! My mom doesn't drink but liked the white sangria, as she mentioned "taste like juice" Our server also pays attention to our needs. Not sure if the other guy in plain clothes is a server or owner but he was also nice and joked around, he would come up to us and say "if you all don't finish that you will be washing dishes" I highly recommend this place for those that wanted to try authentic Spanish food!

First off, service was very friendly and quick! and every single dish we ordered was delicious. The paella is a lot of food (we ordered the for two option for both) and the small dishes were great to taste!

I had been eyeing this place for a very long time and I loved being able to finally eat here! We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and there weren't many people there (thankfully). It is just so cozy inside of this restaurant. If you don't like sitting too closely to people, you'd better hope there are available seats near the window :) The service was great, the food was great. I definitely plan on coming back! My first time having basque food was a success!

Good food, great staff, hard to park Came here on a whim, looking for a place to eat. Girlfriend really wanted mussels, so we came here. The place is small, there's parking by the pier but it's very cramped. You also need to walk to the front of the restaurant to get in. Because this place is attached to a very affluent Main Street, there's a lot of foot traffic. Lines out the door are commonplace. But the interior is modern and clean. Our server was very nice and helped with the menu. We got the mussels, but also tuna, chorizo, and meatballs. Star of the show was the tuna. Spicy, fresh, properly seared and the balsamic drizzle gave it the sweet vinegar bite it needed. Well composed dish, enjoyed that one. Girlfriend loved the mussels, the spicy ragu was a good compliment to the meaty mussels. She are almost the entire dish on her own. The meatballs and chorizo were lacking. The chorizo was seared well but had no flavor. Kind of tasted like a generic sausage seared up and cut up. We did not ask for it to be taken off, but the server did so automatically. That's very good customer service in my book. The meatball was dense but the ragu was flavorful. The meat mix was more pork than beef, but still tasty. It was pricy for tapas, but pretty good overall. An option to eat if they are not busy. If they are, then there's a lot of spots to try locally

We walked in at 5:30 PM on a Saturday night and it was packed. We thought we were being early birds LOL. We were told 1 hour + for a table for 2. Luckily two people happened to be leaving the bar when we got there and we snatched those two seats. We came here because we really wanted paella. We ordered a bottle of white wine and put in our order for the paella since we overheard that it takes about 45 minutes to make. While we waited, we had pan con tomate which was delicious. We also had the Pulpo La plancha which sadly was a bit overcooked. Marisco paella was full of great seafood. We were very happy with this dish. This restaurant is SMALL, but full of Spanish flair. We ate at the bar and we chatted with the bartenders and the people around us. We had a great time!

Paella and Albarino for the win! As soon as we stepped inside Basque, we felt right at home. It's a small, cozy spot and it felt like we were dining with locals. Our dinner at Basque was delicious, and the service was great. The seafood paella was so good! The portions are pretty generous so make sure to come hungry. We also had the potatoes and my only complaint is that it was smothered in sauce. Empanadas were tasty and the churros con chocolate was next level. LOVED our night out here! Great place for a date or a dinner out with friends. P.S. They have a parking lot in the back.

PAN con TOMATE ~ Fresh tomato spread, olive oil, garlic, Iberico ham over country toast - an exceptional plate.

Wanted to update this since we enjoyed such a fabulous experience. Basque never disappoints. I wanted to upload the meatball dish and Iberico but I guess there is a picture limit. The shrimp dish is one of my favorites with garlic and olive oil - highly recommended- iberique is a must. Don't forget their fabulous wines too!

Very fair prices, no rush, no problems, great wine, beer, drink menus, great food selections and deserts. This restaurant is set in the heart of Piermont which is a quaint little town with interesting shops. It's set by the Hudson River and very close to the Tappan Zee Bridge. For starter we had the beet salad, coconut shrimp, and the crab cake. Of course they were all delicious. They served fresh baked bread hot out of the oven. For mains we had the Halibut Provençal served with Basmati rice and snow peas. We also had the Pan Sear King Salmon served soba Japanese noodles and asparagus. For desert we had the Bailey's Cheesecake, and the Motrin Dark Chocolate Cake. I cannot stress how great everything always is. It is with the drive to come here. I highly recommend them.

The dining room is surprisingly spacious for a Piermont restaurant, yet still remains intimate. Between the sidewalk seating that brings a bit of a Parisian café atmosphere to the village and the beautiful garden out back, there are plenty of great spots to enjoy a main fish or a few appetizers .... or both. And while drinks can vary depending on who's behind the bar, my favorite bartender there makes a truly excellent cocktail (no names). Overall, a great place for sitting at the bar and mingling with whoever is sitting next to you, or dinner with your special person.

Really enjoyed the food here on Mother's Day…read more Made a reservation for an early dinner online, for outside seating. Didn't think to check if they were honoring that given the holiday, since it turned out to be first come first serve no reservations. Inside reservations were being taken, there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Our party of 3 ordered the octopus and an arugula salad as an appetizer. The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed. We probably could've used a bit more attention from the waiter after we were seated, as we would've liked another cocktail, but overall a great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Thing is, seating and service leave a LOT to be desired. We had a reservation, the place was empty, and they still weren't ready for us. The place was a ghost town when we went in this week, and my prediction is this place doesn't have long to live.

Went with my wife and she had a cocktail ( I drank water). She is not a big drinker and she gets tipsy after 1/2 glass of wine but she didn't feel anything after this cocktail. She didn't think there was actually any alcohol in the drink. We then split a chopped salad and when they brought it to the table we were in disbelief. It was so tiny there were only a few chunks of lettuce. Tasted great but it was literally a child's portion. For our main course she had the filet with lobster tail and I had a petite filet. We both ordered medium rare. The lobster was awful. So heavily spiced that it was hard to eat. The steaks were both significantly over cooked. They came out close to well done. The side dish of Mac and cheese was completely dry, very little of any sauce. We skipped desert. So for 1 drink, one salad, one side dish and 2 entrees our bill with tip was $300. Walking out I just felt like we had been ripped off. The service was fine, the food wasn't. We won't be back.
