It's been a yearly issue when the heat starts and the grass starts looking stressed. Relying on Yelp and Google.. lead me to Matt from countryside Lawns. Reached out last week, and prompt communication from the start. Matt arrived today and I led him to the problem area.. After two hours of replacing and adjusting sprinkler heads, I could already see a difference. Knowledgeable, professional and honest.. that best describe the visit. The rocks in our front yard had been there for 30 years and were definitely begging to be replaced. I wanted something more attractive and updated, and that is exactly what I got. Angel came out, measured everything, and within a couple of days sent me an estimate. I received three estimates, and his was not the least expensive, but after talking with him, I felt confident that he was honest, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what he was doing. It took me more than a week to make my decision, and then I had to wait my turn. About three weeks later, they were ready to begin my project. Angel was extremely patient with me because I could not make up my mind about the rock colors. My husband and I went to Cinderlite and brought home samples, but I still wasn't sure. Angel even made another trip to get additional samples and brought them to me. I finally found the colors I wanted! The crew worked in extremely hot conditions, yet every day they left my front yard clean and orderly. They did not install the rock until I had approved the design, which they first painted out on the weed barrier so I could see exactly how it would look. I was also concerned about my trees getting enough water. They checked each tree before putting the rock down and then checked them again afterward, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. If you call them, you're lucky to get a call back but, if you do hear from them, it will be days later. My main problem was getting them to do the backyard. Apparently, at one time, I told them not to go in the back. They never reduced my bill when they stopped doing the back. And 2 years later, when I asked them to resume servicing the backyard, I was never able to get them to do it. I repeatedly asked them to and their excuse was that I had asked them not to. But I'm asking them to do it now! So why not do it? Baffling. Finally, I was done trying. So I hired another company. I paid $265 for them to catch up what hadn't been being done in the FRONT lawn and bushes. OMG. The bushes had grown about a foot beyond their normal shape. Jill offered no reason for this, no apology for the bushes not being done and no reduction of my bill. Not a fan.

They assessed the problem was needing three new valves and electrical. He gave me a quote and even thought it was way more than I expected or wanted to spend, I couldn't shop around. They were at my home and willing to do the work so I hired them. It only took a couple hours and it was as good as new. I appreciated the speedy response to my call and coming out to my home so quickly.
