We had been traveling across town. My husband wrote a 5 star review 3 years ago. We dont know what happened. That was what started my whole story. I didnt mind waiting but when I went in and they wanted to do tests that had nothing to do with her problem, I was puzzled but I said ok. They wanted to do blood work that cost $350.00 just by itself. It started out as over $1000.00 and when they took off the blood work. it was less. They wanted to do a fecal test including the other blood test. They did an eye duct test because she had watery eyes. Shes a Shitzu, she has always had "bugers" in her eyes. I clean them all the time. When I walked out of there it was over $500.00. I feel they did unneccessary tests that didnt even address the problem that I went in for. When I asked if they had a senior citizens discount, the person at the checkout said I can't do that. Save your money. People with fixed income beware!! Seems they do unnecessary tests and it doesnt pinpoint the problem. I will have medical records sent to me and I am going to someone that doesnt just think about money. At this time, I have read all of their poor reviews. Just like me, they all seem to have that $1,000.00 + price. Being a business owner we have some Idea of what it takes to keep a business open. I have been nothing but impressed by their vast medical knowledge and professional demeanor. They also have licensed vet techs on staff which is imperative to me. The front desk staff always is prompt in returning calls or their office text messaging system. I have a 4 pound Pomeranian and would not trust any other veterinary hospital to treat or diagnose him. They also have an excellent relationship with many of the specialists in the South Florida area should your dog need to be referred out. I have worked in the equine industry my entire life and in equine hospitals and I truly have to say this is the only place I will ever go for my dogs primary care doctor. Most small animal vets I have found lack depth in their education and ongoing knowledge and continued education within the field. That is not the case here, they continue to be up to date on their field of specialties. Hope this helps anyone looking for a new vet!

Netzly, the "veterinarian", is not only unprofessional, rude, petulant, and unsavory, he is a consummate liar. I made an appointment to simply have a rabies shot given to my beloved dog. When I saw that I was five minutes late for her appointment, I called the office and communicated the fact that I would be a bit late for the appointment. I arrived exactly twelve minutes late for the appointment. This "dr" stated in a response to my review that I was 40 minutes late. A lie! And later in the appointment he told me that I was too stupid to find his offices. FACT I assume that my Ph.D. is not ample educationally for his belittling, his rudeness and his unprofessionalism in his less than modern, uncomfortable and shabby offices. I brought Sophia into the tiny examination room with a muzzle that I requested as I know that she doesn't like to be prodded and needled. I held her and this "dr" entered the room, without a hello, without introducing himself to me and asked me if I was holding her. I stated to him that I was. He said to me, and I quote, "I heard that bullshit comment before." I stood up and calmly asked him not to speak to me in that manner. He looked at me in the same manner that Sophia looks at me quizzically! I should have left at that time as I realized his negative energy and attitude was from being twelve minutes late, but I didn't. So I said let's just do this and be done with it. I grabbed Sophia around the chest and secured her muzzled head while he injected her. Somehow she then managed to wriggle backward out of the muzzle and my grip and, unfortunately, bit the "dr" on his wrist. He became inconsolable and began yelling to the vet tech to call the humane society that my shepherd mix was a vicious dog. I pleaded with him to please reconsider, that I was so sorry that she had reacted that way but he was resolute (not realizing at that point that this would be considered an occupational hazard). Then I told him that I was a Vietnam Veteran and to please give her a break for my sake. His response, and I quote, was, "I don't give a shit who you are or what you did." Sophia never bit anyone, prior to this incident and the only report on her was her off of the leash. Another lie by this 'dr'. It is my humble opinion that he should seriously consider retirement before he inflicts his negative emotions, his nasty attitude, his ramshackle offices and his unprofessionalism on another unfortunate, unprepared animal and owner.

But I've never really had an emergency before, and that's when things get really real. I left my dog unattended with a large ham bone, and he ate it while I changed the sheets. I was horrified, scared, and terrified that my dog might die. I called Dr Grubb's office, I spoke with the veterinary assistant and Dr Grubb himself. He calmed me down considerably and gave me step-by-step instructions what to do next. Then my dog started vomiting bone fragments, and Dr Grubb got me in first thing this morning for an x-ray. My pup is going to be completely fine, thank God and thanks to Dr. Grubb! My dog is my baby, and means the world to me. The way Dr. Grubb was able to handle the situation, and calm me at the same time is absolutely invaluable! If you're looking for an amazing vet, look no further! He was treated, indeed, saved by, Palm Beach Vet hospital, by Dr. Roy and his wonderfully professional staff of specialists. We then requested a referral to a capable Vet, to be used as our primary doctor for our two cats. When we first met with Dr. Amanda Miller, we were quite reassured by her manner, and interest in our pets past history. She gave them both a thorough examination and mentioned that she was familiar with Dr. Lechner, from the hospital and asked if she could contact her for a complete history. Later that evening, about 9 pm we returned to a message on our machine from Dr. Miller. She said the hospital faxed her our cats records and she had just finished READING 93 pages! She is amazing, caring and has the best office staff that make you feel like you and your pets are special. Our cat unfortunately had surgery again recently, performed by Dr. Miller, and she made calls to an anaesthesiologist to find out the info for the best outcomes.
