This school is outstanding! The teachers and the members of administration are loving and caring. They always take time to show me and my child love on a daily basis. My child has learned so much in so little time. I really enjoy the field trips and special activities. This school really believes in parent participation, and making us parents feel welcome. Every time I step foot in the facility it smells and looks clean. I am thankful to have found this great facility close by my neighborhood. Dr. Holloman, the director and driving force of MNM, is an amazing woman. She is all embracing. She is very creative and loving, and due to this, MNM has wonderful attributes. Your child will feel protected, cared for and stimulated. Everyone is included and accepted. The teachers take their role in the kids development very seriously and have daily art projects and activities that teach them new skills. My Twin daughters loves this place!!! and so do I. Personally I had a bad experience at this place I saw it as a daycare only and the staff was rude most of the time even though I was being kind they were always on a self defense mode also I noticed that they wouldn't liked to be asked questions, the only reason I kept my son here is because they open early. read more

Great Staff, very friendly and kind. My daughter leaves with a smile on her face everyday. She comes home telling me something new she learned in school everyday. The environment is very multi-cultured, which I love. It is also very clean. One of the things i really love is that they potty trained my 2 year old in 1 month. I also love that i can drop her off at any time of day and pick her up by 6. they are very great at keeping me updated with her progress such as if she used the pot (potty) and what times she ate and if she napped or not and also a activity she enjoyed that day and what mood she was in. It keeps me at ease as a parent knowing that when i drop her off and go to work that she is safe and well taken care of out of my care. Minds in motion goes above and beyond in showing the parent that there kinds are in good hands. and it goes a long way when you actually find a group of people that care for your child's mind and help they grow and learn rather then just being a daycare this school is a place of young mind literally in motion. I would really like to meet the parents that wrote the reviews for this school. My son is currently a student here and I'm currently searching for a new school. Here is a break down of my pros and cons of Minds n Motion. Pros: - The students are wonderful and sweet - Teachers are nice (if they stay) Cons: - High turnover: Constant new teachers almost every week or month. The new teachers never speak or introduce themselves to parents. - My mother in law picked up my son after school one day, which isn't a problem but she was not listed on ANY forms which shouldn't allowed her to leave with my son.How does that make me feel as a parent? Is it okay for anyone to pick up my child without checking? - My son is overly hungry when I pick him up, I've taken him to the hospital on a number of occasions due to dehydration. Another parent asked me if they gave them water or not. I don't care for the meals at all, everything looks processed. At the rate were paying I was hoping for a more nutritional meal for my child. - Constant injuries- My son has came home with bruises, yes I know he's a little boy and boys tend to be rough but I've never gotten an accident report at all. I've had to call and asked if anyone knew if my son had gotten hurt. - Homework: I love that he brings home homework everyday, but there has been too many cases were his name is spelled incorrectly. If you don't know how to spell my son's name how can you teach him how to spell his name? Report cards: The last few report cards were a joke because the teachers names were wrong. These teachers had been fired/quit so how can I trust my son's progress during the dates reported when the teachers have been gone for months. Cleaning: I understand the staff is preparing to close during closing hours, but the smell of cleaning supplies and bleach before closing time concerns me. Those things should be done AFTER THE children leave for the day. I don't want to smell bleach and lysol when I arrive to pick up my son. Clothing: I've lost extra clothes, my son has came home with the wrong underwear and socks on a number of occasions. I've met some really nice teachers and I don't understand why the turnaround is so bad here, it's unacceptable and it needs to be addressed. My husband and I was over sold, if you want to act as a private school please fit the requirements of a REAL PRIVATE school. And the parent that said Dr. Holloman was the "driving force", she drives rudeness. I thought it was something personal at me but from the talks with other parents she's excused because she's "naturally rude". Sorry Minds N Motion, we tired but we see no efforts here! read more

Minds N Motion Learning Center is one of the best preschools in the area. I would like to meet this parent on this review that has such negative things to say about a school that is serving our community and children with love, grace, compassion, and integrity. Sure, every preschool out here has pros and cons when it comes to the daily operation, I have yet to experience one that doesn't. As a parent at Minds N Motion I feel like I need to speak up for the hard - working staff that spends all day with my precious child... My child has learned so much during his time here. Not only that, he has built relationships with other children and his teachers. Yes, we have lost a few items, nothing irreplaceable. But hey, at least my kid comes home dry and clean! And perhaps if we all follow all the signs and memos about labeling our children's belongings that wouldn't be a problem. Also, I absolutely LOVE the clean smell that I get when I walk into the door, that is actually what sold me on the center, how clean and fresh the staff keeps it. Dehydrated? Yeah right. Not too many preschools that I visited have water fountains in every classroom and outdoors. High turnover? Hey, at least we don't have to deal with burnt -out teachers. School is growing as I see it. New kids equal new teachers. There is a reason that the school is full... Lastly, I have never experienced any rudeness from Dr. Holloman. A stickler for policy? Eh, maybe. Uncompromising ethics, absolutely. However, she is providing an atmosphere for our children that is clean, safe, educational, and fun. I recommend this preschool to my friends, family, and anyone who listens! I say if you have such negative things to say about "our" school then you should find your way to another!
