I've gotten my hair cut by Mindy twice, the second time I got bangs for the first time, and she did such a detailed amazing job on them. I found Mindy on Yelp when I was looking for a stylist to do something bold with my hair; I saw pictures of her clients with dark hair and bright colors and was sold. Mindy was very communicative over phone/text and I was able to book an appointment for later that week. I have VERY long, thick, & curly hair (think Mia Thermopolis pre-makeover scene) and Mindy worked WONDERS on it. I told her I wanted pink, with a little purple, and bold and she did it. Mindy cut & styled my hair beautifully, adding extra movement with both cuts and colors (which was no small feat!) She paid attention to the fact that I wear my hair up in a messy bun a lot and made sure I was able to see the colors & details regardless if my hair was up or down. To say I'm happy with the result is an understatement. Mindy is MY hair guru. I have referred her through and through for my friends because she treats me and my hair so well. Guess what? She loves experimenting with my hair colors as much as I do, and never complains or tries to talk me out of my ideas even if they're majorly time consuming. I do appreciate that she will be quick to let me know if something won't look good on me so I don't end up being dissatisfied (whereas other stylists may agree just to charge you more). She's an expert with bobs for the time that I had one, and she's great with color as well now that my hair is longer. We've gone all shades of red with my hair before finally settling on a shade, and I usually get 2-2.5 months out of each shade despite red being the hardest to maintain.
