Akways geat service. My only suggestion to everyone is know there prices before they do the service. I have been there 3 times. Left each time thinking their prices are really high. I finaly called ask what they charge for a regular fill with gel polish I was quoted $30.00. Ok went in 20 minutes later got a fill with gel polish and was told for you today $35.00. I am so grateful I found this place. They fit me in the same day with not just one but two awesome nail technicians. First I enjoyed a very relaxing spa pedi with Amy who was professional sweet and attentive at making sure you were happy. Then to top it off Tommy gave me a fill, fixed the things I wasn't to happy about with my previous girl and even stayed long after all had left to do beautiful gel polish along with awesome nail designs. I have been coming here for almost a year. Initially the service was good and staff was friendly. Now it seems to be hit or miss. The owner is accommodating and some of the employees are friendly and gracious, while others are clearly lacking in that area. Some staff are FAR more professional than others. In the past few months I have noticed a steady decline. The newer staff are more like high-pressure, pushy car salesmen. I brought my daughter in and a man doing a pedicure next to her was aggressively trying to convince her into purchasing services that were not requested, even after we repeatedly told him no. He kept saying "Are you sure?" to her. This is not the first time this has happened and now I am annoyed. I bring my own polish because I have noticed when I use theirs it will chip within a few days. Even with my own polish I am lucky to get two weeks. The salon I moved away from rarely required more than a monthly visit. Very disappointing. I would really like to write a better review because initially this salon had a much better feel. I remain hopeful that the trend will reverse. In the meantime I am looking at taking my business elsewhere. read more

I left with mixed feelings. I have to say, Mindy did a great job on the nails, and she was pleasant and actually talked to me. I have thin nails, and she was careful not to over-file them, which often happens when I get acrylics. But it was way overpriced. What really bugged me was that thy charged me an extra fee for using my card -- talk about cheap. It made me feel like they didn't want my money. I Walked in the door, wasnt greeted. Been here plenty of times. Never had a problem. i Have a mindys card where if you spend 25$ you get a stamp towards a free pedicure. Had 3 stamps on the card. Went today spent 43$ showed her the card and she refused to stamp it because the whole 43$ was not spent on just myself but divided between my grandma and I. Not only that was i not happy with the pedicure or the service. They did a horrible job. Asked for a pink flower and she put green in it. Very rude. This used to be my go to place....but as the years go on it goes more and more downhill. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt on their horrible gel nail job that was painted out of the lines and all chipped at the corners with 2-3 days. When I went back and asked them to fix it they said they had to redo them and charged me for the full set all over again $40!!!! So in 3 days $80 on just nails?!?!? Are you serious?!?!?? I tried to tell her how unfair it was to charge me again since they weren't done right to begin with and they wouldn't budge. My daughter got her nails done and went to school and all the kids made fun of her and said how horrible and ugly the nail job is. And I agree...I couldn't have done better and I'm not professional. This place is now just a rip off and takes customers for as much money as they can since this place isn't as busy as it used to be when they actually cared about their customers. i gave this place a try because of all the great reviews, but i am not impressed. i go for a relaxing mani and pedi, but i feel rushed out the door. i walked in at 10:15 and was done by 10:40. i was the only one in the salon along with the three people that work there. they made conversation with me once, spoke in their language the whole time, super uncomfortable. the man that did my pedicure was really rough and fast. the manicure girl was sweet but fast also. so many other places to go in yucaipa, i will not be back. read more

I took my mom here for a manicure and pedicure before a special vacation trip. I found the place by using Yelp since I wasnt familiar with any nail salons near my mom's house. Although we didnt have an appointment, we were welcomed warmly by Mindy herself. The place was busy, clean, bright and all employees were smiling. When I explained that it was our first time there and that I had concerns about my mom's special needs (she is diabetic and has severe arthritis), Mindy listened patiently and assured me they would be gentle with my mom. Mindy even thanked me for letting her know my mom was diabetic so she could take care of her pedicure. Mindy was efficient, friendly, and very patient with us....we rarely go to salons, so we had lots of questions haha. We ended up getting gel manucures with paraffin treatment and hand massage as well as full spa pedicures with massage, leg scrub, paraffin treament, heel callous treatment, and nail polish. The wonderful ladies who did our pedicures were awesome - I think their names were Emmie and Do - I wish I remembered! They didnt take any shortcuts and we enjoyed the entire experience. The massage chairs were nice to settle into and there are several flat screen tvs on to keep you entertained. The gel manicures were also great. Mindy managed to do the manicures for us while also attending to other customers yet we never felt ignored...she is just so good at multitasking. By the way, the gel manicure lasted the entirety of the vacation without chipping, fading, or separating. It stayed glossy and bright.....I highly recommend it! A couple of things that I really appreciated: I wanted to treat my mom, so Mindy helped keep my mom distracted while I paid...she was so sweet to my mom! Also, my biggest criteria for finding a salon is cleanliness....this place was clean. Lastly, I felt like the employees here were happy and friendly without being intrusive while we were relaxing and enjoying the treatments. Pricewise, I felt it was a good value for the caring service we received. I will come here again and I plan to bring my dad too for a pedicure. Thank you Mindy!! read more

Unfortunately this place has poor customer service and POOR communication skills. My mom and I decided to try out this place for the first time. The moment we walked in, the lady told us to pick a color. Then they were rushing to take my mom to the Pedi chair. I had to tell the lady to slow down and to give her time to sit down on her own. Then during the entire time they only spoke their language, which I consider that to be rude and unprofessional. They gave my mom a pedi/mani in less than 20 minutes. I guess their assumed that my 85year old mom is not entitle to enjoy her pedi/mani because of her age. I had the pedicure and I was done about 5 minutes after my mom. The nail polish started chipping within 2-3 days. I usually drive to Redlands to get my pedi/mani to this place that is PURE RELAXATION. Here, relaxation is not part of their motto. As a result of them yapping and rushing we didn't get the feel of relaxation I don't recommend this place, if you truly want to relax and enjoy your pedi/mani. We will never go back again. read more

I found Mindy's nails and spa from yelp. I went there for a ped and a gel set. The delux ped were great by Jack (hot stone felt so good) and nails done by Nancy. She did an excellent job and I love my nails. I got pink color with ombré glitters mixture in silver and black. Normally, I'm very picky on my nails and hair. I told her how I like my nails thin, nature, square and round corner. She did great just like how I asked her to. I definitely will come back.All employees are friendly and funny, they make you feel welcomed. Well, some ppl are never satisfied, no matter what. If they are not happy at Mindy's shop. I gave this place way too many chances because of their high ratings on Yelp. The people working there are nice but they rush through the services and are so unreliable with their skills..I have never left happy with the way my nails looked. Also, the cost is too high for the quality of service and their gel selection is terrible! They give you a huge poster board with nails super glued on it to look at instead of the usual handheld selection. The last time I went there I got a gel mani. The color I chose didn't match the palate they showed me (I wanted a glitter gold and it turned out being a bright orange glitter). Also, the gel mani only took about 15-20 minutes and I was left with a lot of uncut cuticles..it didn't look like I had just paid $35 for a manicure! So the next day I went to Happiness (Happy) Nails located across Yucaipa Blvd. to get them fixed. The woman who did my nails spent a good 40-45 minutes on me, cleaning up the cuticles, and reshaping my nails so they all matched in length and size. She took off soooo much extra skin, I told her I had just got them done the evening before and she was shocked, saying "wow, I would've thought this was from a week ago, not a day ago!" I was way happier with the quality of service from this new nail salon and have been going to Happy Nails ever since. read more

I have been going to what was Pink now Mindys nails for many years for pedicures. They used to do an absolutely amazing job. They took time and really cleaned the sides of your toes and scrubbed your feet. Gave awesome 10 min foot and leg massages. I'm so sad to say ever since their move to a new location approximately a year ago they continue to do less and less. Today I was in and out of there in 35 min that's with me sitting for ten min to let my nails dry good. I get pedicures to help from getting in grown toe nails and let me tell ya today the guy with the addias hat didn't clean that out at all. I know this sounds gross but I picked out so much stuff after I got home it was aweful. They changed what they offer recently, increased prices and decreased what's included and the time they massage. The massages used to be 10 min and now it's 8 min. I have bragged about this nail salon for years and I can no longer do that. They didn't even get out clean sanitized tools!!!!!! read more

First an last time I ever step foot in the door of Mindy's Nails. Came in 4 full set very long with gel. Only thing good I can say about the nails is the length was great. Acrylic was very thick, Nancy got it on my skin, glue on skin. Sloppy, crooked and very bad paint job. Nails were lumpy and not filed on back side very jagged. She didn't even file cuticles . Had to file the back myself. Didn't mind paying $55.00 but the job was only worth about $10.00. The price kept rising. When I left the nails were still sticky, cotton fibers stuck on nails. Went back in shop to have them correct it. They never removed the glue, cotton fiber , just put more alcohol an oil. This is a nightmare salon. Need I say more? Go if u have very, very short nails with plain old polish and don't care about Ur nails. AWFUL JOB, GOT SCREWED ON NAILS AND PRICES. read more

I walked in today for a pedicure. I waited outside for my turn so I wasn't in a position to see the staff in motion. I was seated in the pedicure chair with the tub filled with water. The water didn't appear to have any additives such as peppermint as advertise on the laminated menu that was handed to me. The technician appeared not to speak any English I asked a basic question and she smiled and nodded. All of the staff was casually dressed, nails not manicured, dirty looking hair and the overall customer service was rather rude. The instruments that the technician used came from an unmarked plastic box most likely unsterile. The most fluent English speaking technician was translating for other technicians. I watched after my pedicure was finished as they prepared for the next client and the pedicure tub was not sanitized. The experience was overall negative the up sales and the lack of communication is one thing but the fact that the possibly unlicensed technician lack of sanitary practices is another. read more
