This place gives no consideration for customers time. I've made several appointments here, shown up at the time of my appointment and they have no opening for you. I then have to wait, often times up to 30 minutes to be seen. The services here are subpar, and rushed. Definitely not worth coming back here, I would strongly suggest finding a different nail salon. The people that run this salon need to respect their customers time and if they book an appointment with you, they need to make sure they get you in and have an opening ready for the appointment they confirmed. I used to come here all the time and had the best experiences with Kelly; however, just recently I went and had my nails done by a man I have never seen before. He did a horondous job despite my best efforts to explain throughout the process certain things I wanted fixed. He kept winking at me and saying that I should let him take me out on a date, he did this three times, despite me laughing uncomfortably and denying his attempts. By the end of the session I was so uncomfortable that I wanted him to finish and leave even though I despised my nails. I tried to tell duke that I did not like my nails and I tried to tell him what went wrong. He fixed them; however, while doing so he kept loudly exclaiming that this would be the absolute last time he would do this for me. Idk how this place is a favorite in town. I came here once for a pedicure and my feet felt like they were just soaked in hot water? No callous removal whatsoever (I paid for that) . I'm not a person who gets her nails done regularly so take it as you will. My mom was visiting from out of town and she is one of those ladies who gets their nails done regularly and asked me to find a place. This place seemed to have pretty good reviews on yelp and I did not want to drive very far. They have a great selection of colors, but I wish there was a little bit more understanding from the staff. I was trying to explain what I wanted, but it seemed as though they were rushed so I just thought "forget it" and went with just one solid color instead of the ombré design that I wanted. I also would've liked a little design on my toe, but never got the chance to get a word in. I paid for the Mani and Pedi for myself and my mom and it came to $120. We got gel on our fingernails. They had the movie twilight playing in the background, which was a good vibe, different than any other place I've been to, but the staff talked loudly to one another and never engaged so it felt super awkward for me. I have been going to for my nails Duke on and off. The service is hit or miss. The girl Tina she us very good. The others, sometimes good , sometimes bad. Do not ever allow them to do acrylic fill and pedicure at the same time. That always end up with bad acrylic fill. One time , my fingernail bled as the nail tech guy yanked the acrylic off my nails. I knew that was a red flag already and should have not gone back there. Today, I called in to see if they could take me in for a fill and Duke said, Yes come in at 4:15. I got there and I was told they are booked. I understand , over booking could happen but what I don't appreciate is how unprofessional the people there were when they told me they were overbooked. They were laughing and like it's no big deal that I drove there for nothing. No apologies whatsoever. read more

I'm giving this place a 3 because it's the only place I like to get my eyebrows done thanks to Ana if it weren't for her I wouldn't be coming here at all but the reason why it's missing those 2 extra stars is because the people in the front are horrible especially this guy right here so rude. I've gotten my nails done here as well before both acrylic nails and a pedicure the girl doing my pedicure made me bleed like twice the outcome at the end wasn't good either my acrylic nails I remember were done by I think her name is either Lynda or Leslie the shortest one there came out cute but didn't even last a day and one came off when I came back so they can fix it she was just so unprofessional about it instead of saying oh sorry for the inconvenience she just pulled my hand and started fixing it and when it was under the blue light instead of sitting in front of me she went and sat on one of the chairs used for the customers to get a pedicure done and was eating and was burping while I was still there just being a slob not a lady and just told me all done good bye . After 5 attempts between San Francisco and Beaumont, I FINALLY found a nail place that can do multiple and trendy kinds of acrylics and manicures. I've been wanting a pink and white ombré full set for awhile and have had no luck finding a salon that knows how to do one. Kelly at Duke's nails knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen with no questions or confusion. My pedicure was great, I got exactly what I asked for without any up-selling or unwanted services like most salons in the area. I was taken care of quickly, both technicians were very friendly and communicated well. My only complaint is the ambiance. The sound level that the employees speak to each other with is quite a high decibel. Whenever employees receive a phone call on their personal phones, they step away from their clients and proceed to have a conversation with the other person on speaker. These conversations then catch the attention of the other technicians who chime in or join the speaker phone conversation. I find this very unprofessional but I won't write a bad review purely on that. I just hope it's something they can become aware of and correct. I made a appointment at this shop for a certain time when I got there it was standing room only 4 other people had appointments and had been waiting for over 45 minutes. When you make someone a appointment and they come to the appointment on time I can see waiting 5 or 10 minutes 15 minutes tops but this is ridiculous and this is the third time I have made a appointment and this has happened. If you want to waste your time this is the place for you. Clearly this is not the place for me. Their work is good isn't not great but it's close to home. Dukes is my go-to nail place. Literally the only place I will go to for nails, pedicures, eyebrow wax any of it. I Faithfully get Duke for my acrylic sets he is amazing I can show him a picture of what I want and he will make it look identical. My edges never lift, my tips never snap off. They have a wide selection of colored acrylic which is a big deal to me. But they also have a wide selection of gel and regular nail polish. I always get tom for my pedicures. He's fantastic and super creative. When I get designs I just let him do whatever he wants and I'm more than happy every time. I get Kelly for my eyebrows and she always gets it right! I'm beyond picky and look for mistakes but this place leaves me more than satisfied every time! read more

This was my first time at Duke's and my first time getting the Gel dip from them. They informed me that they use the UV light before they started. They told me to choose a color as they pulled out a dusty box which contained the powders thrown in. I thought that was very unprofessional and gross. I continued to pick a color and sat down with Lisa who was very nice and took her time with my nails. I was happy when I left and the price was good. However, the next morning I'm looking at my nails to realize they're already messed up. The gel is supposed to prevent from chipping and I don't believe my nails or the tips of my nails were properly covered. Even though Lisa paid attention to the cuticle area, you can see that the paint is far above my cuticles. The customer service and care I received from Lisa was exceptional however my overall experience and follow up is not. read more

My first and last time coming to this nail salon. They are not following any Covid guidelines. They have signs saying they check temperature and require a health questionnaire completed prior to services and that it not even close to true. Not once did they wipe and stations down after completing a client. There were so many people in their that people were waiting standing by the door. Why the technicians are having political conversations across the salon amazed me. I was beyond uncomfortable with the environment. Had I not shown up at 9:30 and been the first in there I would have for sure left. I went in for a full set with a photo of whey I was looking for and not even close.
