After two days and no response (email or phone) from the manager, I dropped by the store and had wonderful assistance from a young lady at the counter about our $36K door order. When I asked her about why the manager hadn't gotten back, she dutifully said that 'he was busy' to which I responded I don't care. I felt the young lady who assisted me was put in the line of fire while the manager sat back at his desk in the corner. Bogus. This store seems to be a somewhat 'When, or if, I get to it' business model. Although, the cabinet division 'and team' are good to work with. In the all and all, it's interesting that they don't seem to be aware of or care about their poor business model or at perhaps the execution of a good business model (?). In contrast, the Santa Maria store seems receptive to the importance of servicing customers with competence. So, I've shifted in that direction to finish our project. An inconvenience worth the effort.

On Sunday morning we tried to dig holes with it and very soft dirt, and once again, the equipment was defective, would not dig at all, just stall out. They were closed on Sunday so I brought it back Monday morning and explained the situation to the owner Paul, he still charged me the minimum of $75 saying that we picked it up at three. We should've been able to call him by five on Saturday. I was amazed that he was going to charge me, but he did. I have been renting from them for over 15 years and will not again. We have videos of the machine not working, but he did not care.
