Had a family dinner following a day of slucing for gems (very successfully). The grandkids, 5 and 12 loved hunting for gems and were happy with their experience. We even bought a few items at the store. Unique and special. Dinner was very good, attentive waitress with a good personality, excellent food, Oso Buco for me, Bar-B-Que for Mom. Kids had pizza and daughter had the Miner's special drink that comes with a Herkimer Diamond! We had a great experience for the whole family. We even toured the KOA and was amazed at the fabulous campground. We didn't dig for diamonds but this is highly recommended for families. read more

The only reason I gave a 2 star rating was because the manager came over and tried to make things right. My sister and I ordered the French Onion soup. It had no flavor and the onions were crunchy and seemed to be undercooked. The waitress spilled some soup on my dress because when she placed the soup down she passed it over me. I asked her if we got bread with the meal and she said if we wanted some. I told her yes but she never brought it. The soup was served along with our meal so our food was cold when we started to eat the meal. My sister ordered the pulled pork which came with bbq beans that were together on the same plate hence the juice from the beans went into the pulled pork. read more

I went there last week for the first time and was absolutely satisfied! I ordered a chicken salad with no croutons as well as a white claw! The cook came out and asked if I had a gluten issue (which I do) and she made sure it was perfect for my dietary needs! Then the owner Steve, came out and asked how everything was! We stopped here for dinner based on the Yelp reviews. We were staying at the KOA across the street. The waitress and restaurant of the staff were very polite and nice. The house salad very tasty. What was outstanding and hence the 5 star rating was the pizza made in a wood fired oven! We had the Meat Matrix - yum! Friends had the Margarita and a Hawaiian pizza. One pal had the salmon and it was well prepared but when she saw our pizza she wished she had one too. For desert we had peach crisp also baked in the pizza oven. Wow! Absolutely wow! This place blew me away. Let's start with my one complaint. The wait for drinks was kinda long. But forget the negativity the rest of this visit was AMAZING!!! I started with the pirate special drink Blackbeard's Pineapple Punch. It was amazing and not a bad price for a fun drink. Next came the bread. I'm not a huge fan of balsamic vinaigrette but the bread was still good. Next came my salad with Italian dressing. It was great considering I'm not a salad person. Next was my filet mignon with Truffle potatoes, String beans and a red wine reduction. The steak was cooked well and tasted good with the reduction. The string beans where also really good. The star of the show however was the truffle potatoes. I love truffle fries and these hit the flavor perfectly on the head! They almost made me cry. Someone else with me had the chicken parm. The portion was large and the bite I had was great. Someone else with me had the miners salad. Another large portion. All I tried from this was the fresh mozzarella balls but I was told it was very good. To finish I had one of the desserts a small cannoli. It was a sweet end to an even sweeter meal. We LOVE this restaraunt!! The night my daughter and I dined there, I was highly encouraged to have the Cowboy Cut steak. Boy did I eat well for the next 3 days! Cooked perfectly to order and paired with a delicious Malbec. My daughter had a most delicious pizza from their wood hearth oven and a scrumptuous S'More for desert. We were staying across the street at the KOA campground, and there are not many options for food around, so we figured we'd give it a try. Burger was very good, excellent flavor, and very juicy. I read a Yelp review where someone said their pizza was as good as NYC and Italy. It was pretty good, but nowhere near that level, sorry. The Utica greens were very tasty, something I had never had before. Salads and mozzarella sticks were also done well. Good experience! read more

First time being here since the change of name and renovation. Had a great experience. Food was great. Wife had fettuccini Alfredo with broccoli- said it was ok. I had the chicken riggies (medium)-they were outstanding! They were possibly the best I've had in the area. We both had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. The folks eating next to us had the pizza. They said it was absolutely amazing. Service was alright. Waitress was ok but seemed new to the job. All other workers were welcoming and great when engaged in conversation. Only thing we would like to see is an expanded menu. read more

This was the first time stopping in after a day full of mining and will unfortunately be our last. Our waitress was very nice and attentive but that was the only positive thing about our experience. We should have known when the dinner bread arrived that it was all going down hill from there. It was soaked in balsamic vinegar, raw garlic and with the bread Untoasted. Very strange. The restaurant seems like it's trying to be fancy and gives off an Olive Garden vibe. We arrived around 7:30 and took at least an hour in after we received a bland calamari. By the time we were served our main entrees it was past 9pm. My fiancé ordered the ultimate miners burger with fries. The fries were undercooked and the burger was again, bland & incomplete. Our waitress boxed our food for us but we immediately threw it in the garbage before leaving. 10/10 would NOT Reccomed. read more

The transformation of the Crystal Chandelier into the Miner's Table was really well done. The wife runs the front of the house the husband is the chef. They do their very best to please. So what we ordered was 2 fish fries and 9 Thai wings. Could not believe how much fish and fries we received, also received bread and a large salad. Really impressed. I thought being like "the campgrounds restaurant" may mean it was just kind of a small place with basic food. But it is totally a place anyone and everyone should be going to whether they're staying at the KOA or not, but definitely if they are! We discovered a real gem while camping at Herkimer KOA. Although we normally plan on preparing our meals we were pleasantly surprised to find The Miners Table. We camped for 4 days and had two dinners from this awesome restaurant. We enjoyed unparalleled pizza, a great fish fry and authentic Utica chicken riggis. Wish we had such great food and friendly service in our home town. Highly recommend everyone to partake in this culinary experience. read more

A great restaurant that cares about their patrons. We stayed at their KOA campground in the Taj Mahal of cabins and went to the Miners Table for our anniversary dinner. We spent time talking to the owners who are warm and friendly. Went back the next night to sit at the bar for drinks and watch the Redskins/Cowboys game. Would I come back? Absolutely the next time in town. We did some mining, but you do not need to mine to enjoy the experience. Tonight was our first chance to eat at the Miners Table. While the food was very good, the service was terrible. It was at least 15 minutes before a waitress came to our table. We ordered diet cokes. They were having a problem with their soda machine so no diet soda tonight. The salad and bread came soon after our waters and we're very good. It was another half hour before our meals came. Another wait for our bill...we were told a waitress didn't show up and they were busier than expected but it doesn't seem like that should have caused all the delays we experienced.
