Minerva is a phenomenal restaurant to work with for catering! We had a wonderful experience getting food from them. Everything was absolutely delicious. The naan bread is to die for! The flavors were complex and had different ranges of spice level. The crowd favorites for our event were the paneer and the butter chicken. Everyone really loved the mango dessert as well. I came in randomly one day to try out their buffet and was very surprised by the wide array of food they offer, from chicken and fish dishes to vegetarian dishes to numerous rice dishes and several desserts. On top of all this, they also include soda or beer or chai with the price of the buffet, which is incredibly generous. I have been back several time and can say the service is always great and the owner is a nice fellow who is always on site. I've been here multiple times, both for dinner and their amazing lunch buffet, and every visit has been consistently excellent. We tried the Mango Lassi, the pomegranate juice and the Chai tea - which were both amazing! My husband ordered the lamb chops, and they were very good! He ordered them mild, and they had a decent bit of spice. I tried the mild butter chicken, which was okay. I would probably get it a bit spicier if I ordered it again as it didn't have enough flavor for my liking. The chicken samosas were the only thing I didn't like - they were really dry and may have been in the fryer too long. It was on the pricier end, the bill was close to $100 for everything. We showed up at the end of lunch and while we were seated we were rushed. The buffet was a bit crusty. They brought out some Biriyani and it was all edible but it will not be my go to. I'm not sure why or how it happens but this is really mediocre. IF I go back I will order off the menu ( no buffet) and hopefully it will go better. read more

Went for lunch today, and was so impressed! They have a lunch buffet that is very reasonably priced, drinks included. They had a large selections of traditional dishes with several different meats, noodles, and rice. You can also order Ala cart. By far the best butter chicken I have ever had. And let me tell you about the garlic naan... out of this world! Located in the Publix plaza, there is plenty of parking. The service was also top notch. Despite being a Buffett, they were very attentive and asked several times if there is anything they can get for us or improve. You can tell this is a well run organization and they care deeply. I ordered on Uber Eats during a business trip to Tampa, so I can't speak on the service or ambiance here. I will say that I was disappointed in the way my order was packed. I paid extra on a weekday night for priority delivery and put in the comments and during the checkout that I needed utensils as I was staying at a hotel. I was not given anything, not even a simple fork or spoon. The food was decent but I'd say if you have specific requests or needs maybe this is not the place for you. Little sneaky folks here. They advertise $7.95 breakfast buffet to attract people. Only quality items I can attest to are chutneys. Idly are good from size point of view but full of rice. I don't think it has any urad. They control the dosa by waiting for you to ask to make. They take unreasonable long time to deliver to frustrate you to limit your dosa consumption. Taste of the items like pongal , upama etc are not good. Most likely you may not eat at all. They add some service charge on their own and you end up paying $10.25 before tips for something advertised as $7.95z My advice is eat good and healthy food at home and avoid overeating by manipulative advertisements read more

The vegetables are not fresh. They are dried and I don't know how long they have cut and left outside. There was a worm crawling on my table. After I talked with the waitress, there was no apology at all. She said oh and left. I requested to change to another table. She brought me a glass that still had stain on it. The lunch buffet did not have most of the dishes that they served before. The gulab jamun, palang paneer, goat meat, and vara had all disappeared. Even the veg hakka noodles were not there, which were there previously. The quality of the buffet has gone down a lot in the last year. Note: This review is based on the weekday lunch buffet which is $15 per person from Monday to Friday. Weekend (Sat/Sun) is $19. Pros: Clean interior and servers who are pretty good at bringing water/food. Note: The naan has to be asked for from servers; it's not on the buffet line. Food quality on all items was great and medium spicy. A good array of veg and non -veg items PLUS veg and meat biriyani, 3 dessert dishes (Gulab Jamun,Kheer, and Fruit Salad) and Massala Chai (Indian Tea w/milk and spices). Most Indian buffets pre-Covid were around $11-12. This is $15 post -COVID. However with these add-ons I think it is worth it. They are one of the FEW Indian restaurants even offering a lunch buffet in Tampa at all these days. Taj, Desi Flavors, and Bay Leaves don't (I called to ask the day before btw.). Kudos! It is in a big plaza with McDonald's, Publix etc. so parking is not a problem. Cons: The naan was pretty hard to bite through. Hopefully that was a one-off. The A/C is very weak. I come to this restaurant way too often to leave a biased review but after last nights hour wait after calling in an order and seeing how other people had to wait over an hour, I've realized that they need more help.
