Best wings I've ever had in my life. Mint masthi and Desi bang bang. Guys it's absolute fire I can't stress enough. Those 2 flavors at least are gas best wings I've ever had.

    Chicken Dum Biryani

NEVER AGAIN! We ordered the chicken Biryani family pack, but honestly, I don't know how this could be called Biryani anymore. The quality has really dropped. We stored it properly and only opened it right before dinner, but it was already stale and had a strong, unpleasant smell. It felt like it was leftover from their buffet. I wish there was an option to give zero stars because this was one of the worst Indian food experiences I've had. A total waste of both time and money.

Desi located at telecom park. Which they can get a lot Hindu customers who work on IT at this commercial park. They located at the end unit of the plaza which allows them to have some outdoor seating. During the weekday, they serve Tali plate. Weekend they serve buffet for lunch. The buffet have a lot meat selection. I like the mutton curry. Among the meat curry, I also like their chili chicken and the chicken curry. Tandoori chicken is also good there. They have served different biryanis. But I like the noodle. One thing special I can said is the shrimp curry. It is interesting. Overall the price is at the high side. I do not get the wow factor. But I can tell you they don't make it less spicy because of Americans. They did spicy the food which suppose to be. I would give them 3.5 star f

Desi flavors is one of, if not the best Indian Curry establishments I've had the pleasure of tasting. My mom had just moved back into town and wanted to try something new so the three of us went to try this place nearby. I was very surprised by the quality of curry and the elevation of flavor when I took that first bite of the chicken Tikka masala. Although it's been a simple go to for those new to Indian curry, it seemed a safe way to go. However, the curry far surpassed my expectations. The curry had more richness in flavor and balance than any curry establishment I've dined at before. The paneer Naan was the perfect pairing to each of our chosen curries. We shared an appetizer of the Paneer Tikka sizzler and it was far better than the place we had gone to previously in tampa. The other location for curry had this item and was almost twice the price while the entree was dry and not well seasoned. Each piece was well seasoned and still moist on the inside (especially the fish!!). My partner and I have since gone back a few times and our experience is the same, pleasant and wonderful. I highly recommend this place for its flavors and it's prices!!!

Nice menu for buffet however I missed goat entries. Having one bathroom for both gents and ladies is something they need to improve on.

My friend and I ordered an appetizer and also a naan that was not on the menu but that they had ordered before and they were able to make it - but not this time. Also while we were talking and maybe apparently taking too much time to order entrees the server seemed a little quick/abrupt with us to get our orders in, but also during/after our meal, just the feeling of being rushed but we didn't let that impact how much time we spent at the table. (Note, there were very few people dining and it was late afternoon/early evening, so not that they were trying to close)... Anyway, the Taj Special app was really good! YUMMY and also got the Kashmiri naan....WOW! ALL so good. Then after we finally ordered our entrees, and still munching on appetizers, entrees came out. Nice and hot. Butter chicken, which was super tasty... I was so excited about all my food, I forgot to take a photo and I have no idea what my friend ate LOL... Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will be back!

When we inquired, we were told they were serving dinner. We ordered chicken curry, butter chicken, and tikka masala. Each dish came with only about 8 small pieces of chicken, with no naan and a small portion of rice, which didn't match the description or presentation online. The taste was underwhelming, with disappointing flavor and portion sizes. Unfortunately, the owner was unwilling to work with us on this.

Provided that feedback while paying the bill, but clearly they don't understand the concept of customer service and kept providing plenty of reasons. On top of that, the food wasn't that great. It was around 4:30 PM, so I wasn't sure they'd be open, but they were already serving, so I drove over. It's a new spot, open for about a month. The two ladies running the place were very attentive, and I happened to be the only customer around 5 PM. Normally, when I visit a restaurant like this, I order three or more dishes to sample a variety and enjoy the leftovers at home over the next few days. But since I won't be home until midnight tonight, I went with a single dish to test the waters: chicken tikka masala. I give that an A--flavorful and well-prepared. The rice was decent (I'm not a big fan of rice in general), so I'd rate it a B. The service was excellent, also an A. I even tried the rice pudding, which surprised me--I usually don't care for it, but theirs was genuinely enjoyable. Another A. The only downside: they don't have a tandoor oven yet, so the naan was the store-bought kind you'd find at an Indian grocery. It didn't quite match the quality of the entrée. I'd give that a C. Hopefully, they'll add a real tandoor to their kitchen soon. The ambience is typical medium sized family owned restaurant, but bright and easy. The toilet was also well lit, and clean. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more dishes. Promising start for a new restaurant.

Heartbreaking food shortages for wedding catering and poor management - Proceed with caution…read more We chose Flames Indian Cuisine for our multi-day Indian wedding based on the owner's personal assurance that because the restaurant was local, they could not run out of food. Unfortunately, the reality was a bride and groom's worst nightmare. The planning process was incredibly stressful. It took weeks to get a finalized menu or contract, and we weren't even able to settle the payment until the week before the event. Communication was consistently delayed. Despite paying for a 200-person guest count and having fewer guests than contracted, we ran out of food at nearly every event. This was witnessed by our guests, the venue staff, and our wedding planner. When we confronted the owner, he blamed our guests for "eating too much" rather than taking responsibility for under-preparing. He promised an internal investigation and a resolution within a month. It has now been three months, and despite numerous follow-ups, he has completely ignored our attempts to resolve this amicably. In Indian weddings, food is a pillar of the celebration. To have our guests waiting 10+ minutes for refills that never came was embarrassing and a clear breach of our contract. I would strongly advise any couple to look elsewhere if you want a caterer who is professional and honors their commitments.

We snagged a table on a bustling Thursday evening, and the warm welcome from the staff set the tone: attentive, genuine, and zero rush. The interior is cozy with that inviting aroma of tandoor smoke and simmering curries wafting everywhere, making it feel like a hidden gem in the heart of the city. We started with the Vegetable Platter--crispy samosas bursting with spiced potato and peas, pakoras that were light and addictive, and paneer tikka so tender and smoky from the clay oven. For mains, the Butter Chicken was pure bliss: creamy tomato gravy clinging to juicy tandoori chicken pieces, rich but not overwhelming. The Lamb Rogan Josh stole the show--aromatic with cinnamon, cardamom, and garam masala, the lamb melting in every bite with that slow-cooked depth. We added a side of Garlic Naan, fresh and pillowy with just the right blister and buttery garlic kick, plus some fluffy Basmati rice to soak it all up. Everything was perfectly spiced (we went moderate, but the server guided us flawlessly), portions were generous enough for leftovers, and the bill came in under $60 for two with apps, mains, and naan--total steal for this quality. No desserts listed, but honestly, we were too stuffed to care. If you're craving real-deal Indian--think Goan curries, Chettinad heat, or tandoori perfection--Flames is your spot.
