This place hit the spot! Out of all the Indian places I've tried, this has to be one of the tastiest. The only thing that I didn't like were the prices compared to the quantity of what you get. The service here is great, a little pushy though. I felt like our waitress was almost a sales person. She was great at advising what to get but a little demanding and kept trying to push things on us to order. For apps we ordered the Samosa Chat & Palak Chat. They were good! For dinner we ordered the: Butter chicken (my fave) it had tender chicken which is a must. Chicken tiki masala, wasn't a huge fan of the chicken breast but it wasn't too dry. The Palak Paneer, another favorite. A goat dish with a coconut sauce which was alright but my mom loved it. The Raita was a bit too runny. The naan bread was delicious! Also the rice here was great! We were then convinced into ordering desert. We ordered this rose ice cream and then some pistachio dessert with the rose sauce. We were not fans. The rose sauce tasted artificial and like lip gloss in my opinion. I would for sure come back here just for the butter chicken, palak paneer and to try more. read more

So happy to have a great Indian restaurant in Wesley Chapel!! My hubby and I decided to grab some Linner on a recent Monday. We knew that they closed at 2:30 (open again at 5pm) but decided to see if they would seat us at 2:15. They did and boy, are we glad! The decor is lovely. The booths are comfy and the walls are beautifully decorated. We sat on the left side of the restaurant, and were the only ones there, so it was super quiet. We ordered off the lunch menu, which we didn't realize included a veggie samosa with two sauces: cilantro mint and tamarind, rice, and plain naan. The samosa was delicious, as was the tamarind sauce. The cilantro mint sauce was also tasty, but my favorite was def the tamarind. Hubby ordered the Aloo Gobhi, which was a tad spicy and I ordered the Shrimp Masala, mild, which was delicious. The naan was nice and fresh and I dipped it into the sauces as well. We also got a small cup of the Mulligatawny (lentil) soup, which was very tasty! Our waiter, Sid, was very attentive and informative. I know there was no one else in the restaurant, but he still came by to check on us. The overall experience was lovely and we'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner. I would recommend that they improve their signage. We drove all the way around the strip mall before we found it tucked into a corner. Then when we walked up, there was no logo or sign on the front door. My first experience ordering from this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food I received appeared to be leftovers and was completely cold. The next day, I called to address the issue, but the person I spoke with on the phone was unhelpful. Not only was the food cold and unappetizing, but the portion size for a $30 dish was incredibly small - I'd say it wasn't even worth $10. As someone who loves Indian food, I can confidently say this place missed the mark entirely, and their customer service was equally poor. Maxing place for lunch! Food hits the spot, very tasty, one of the top places in the area. Cannot beat the $13 lunch deal, you get plain nan, daal soup, samosa and rice with your entree. Lots of vegetarian options : our fav is paneer makhani/ butter paneer. Service is fast and durably and very attentive. The place is very elegant with velvet blue and gold booth seating. We went to Avalon Apartment event held for Easter Day and we saw that Rudraksh Indian Cuisine had recently opened, so we decided to have appetizers from the restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the ambiance and decorations in the restaurant. We were soon seated on our table. While talking to the server, we came to know that today was the first day of the restaurant so from menu, Tandoor options were not available. From different options available in menu, we went with Paalak Chaat and Chicken Lollipop. We had to wait for 15-20 minutes before our order arrived. We first had Paalak Chaat which was delicious, well made Chaat with great ingredients. Then we had Chicken Lollipop which was delicious, tasty, well made chicken with spices which was mouthwatering and finger licking. The food we ordered was delicious and we loved the food. I'll start by saying the restaurant's interior is beautifully designed stylish and inviting and the owner was genuinely kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't match the ambiance. My mother and I visited on a Saturday. She was eager to try the chai martini, but was disappointed by the flavor and couldn't finish it. When she told the server it wasn't good, the response was dismissive--she was simply told that she could order something else. That interaction left a poor first impression. When it came to ordering appetizers, we tried to request two different items but were told they were already out--surprising, especially for a Saturday evening so soon after opening. We settled on the Gobi, which was flavorful. For our entrées, we planned to share and noticed the menu was on the pricier side, which we were willing to accept given the area. We ordered the chicken tikka masala (requested extra spicy), the grilled shrimp, and garlic naan. The shrimp, priced at $26, came with only eight pieces--far too small a portion for the cost. The seasoning was decent, but not memorable. The naan was disappointing thin, brittle, and lacked flavor. The biggest letdown was the chicken tikka masala. It was visually appealing, but completely lacked the spice we had requested. The chicken itself was tough and the dish lacked the bold flavor you'd expect. When I politely asked the server whether this was the correct dish, her response was alarming: instead of addressing our concern directly, she turned to the table next to us and asked them if their tikka was spicy. She then took our dish without any explanation and returned shortly after with the same plate saying she could bring us peppers to add ourselves. That moment completely ruined the experience. Bringing back a dish that was removed from a guest's table without replacing it or confirming what had been done to it is unacceptable. We chose not to eat it and asked for the check. To the owner's credit, she noticed our dissatisfaction and removed the chai martini from our bill, which was appreciated. However, the service and food quality left a lasting negative impression. With so many positive reviews, I had higher expectations, but sadly, I won't be returning. read more

This restaurant just opened, and as we are desi, I said lets try it out! I did drive by, and the location looks nice, and the people on the phone were friendly. When we got the food, we ordered the butter chicken, a Manchurian dish, the chicken lolipop/65, and a few other items. Everything minus the lollipop was a 5/5! The butter chicken had this feeling that you were relaxing at home (perfect heaviness to flavor). The lehsoni gobi was out of this world. I repeat, out of this world! The paneer makhani was very well balanced, and right on point. As far as the pricing, we understand things are getting more expensive. This restaurant is roughly where other desi places are, plus about 15%. That being said, if they balanced their pricing, and fixed the lollipop, (also maybe added a few more veg dishes) this place could be a top contender in not just the area, but, in the whole state! read more

I ordered from here about a week ago as a takeout order and the taste of the food was not up my alley. The place is very nice inside and the staff was pleasant when I went to pick up the food. I ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken, and Dal Makhani. I would have to say comapred to Persis or Bawarchi in the area, it was not good compared to those. The spice level I got was Spicy and even then it was lacking spice so I was glad I did not order Medium as then it would have come out bland. My husband and I went to Rudraksh last night for dinner as we have been here once for lunch. We ordered 3 apps and one dinner and everything was delicious. Our waiter Iann was super friendly and we definitely would ask for him again. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is they don't have a bartender so the staff has to jeririg on how they think mixed drinks should be made. Visited this past weekend with some friends and I must say that the food, service and ambience made it an amazing experience. The prices were just right.. The only reason I'm not giving you, a five(5) star is because of our drinks. The drinks weren't terrible, but they weren't great. We all ordered different alcoholic beverages, and everyone at their table complained that they couldn't taste the alcohol in any of the drinks and this was disappointing. We go for the food, but we will stay for the drinks and in this case, we all just had one drink with our food and left . But we are most certainly returning for that amazing food. read more

I was very excited to hear about a new Indian place near me and Rudraksh did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere. The food is exceptional. I had chicken tikka masala off the lunch menu. A generous portion of delicious chicken and sauce, served with rice as well as a samosa and dipping sauces. I also had the garlic naan. Again a large portion and fresh/hot. I was in the area in hopes to have dinner at Tallo however they were packed so I decided to come here since it was next door. The ambiance and decor is inviting and has a classy modern vibe. Our waitress lack common courtesy and was very awkward. The food presentation was great but lacked the authentic Indian flavor. It blows my mind this restaurant is highly rated when it was a total fail for me. I'm assuming the high rating is because there's not much options in the area. If you're looking for authentic, spicy and full of flavor this isn't the restaurant for you. If you're new to Indian cuisine and can't handle the spice then this might be a good option for you. We ordered cauliflower gobi, chicken tikka masala and tandoori shrimp. The cauliflower gobi was the only item we enjoyed. The chicken tikka masala tasted like tomato sauce with chunks of unseasoned chicken. The tandoori shrimp was cooked properly but lacked flavor and the garlic naan was super thin. Meanwhile, Goat Curry was the substitute for Lamb Rogan Josh and was a waste of money. 4-5 pieces of meat for $25...hard meat with a lot of fat and some bone. Curry was below average. We attended the Grand Opening August 9. Enamored of Indian cuisine and having dined at R. some 10 days earlier, we deliberately over-ordered to have leftovers for the next several days. God knows why they packed the food in leaky styrofoam containers, when at similar cost microwave-safe, leak-proof reusable plastic containers are readily available from food service distributors throughout Florida. (Try your local Chinese restaurant for a sample.) That's one, and my second complaint is that the proprietors have the unmitigated gall to try to pass off tough, gristley mutton as LAMB. At R.'s prices this is outrageous. Why hire excellent,upscale chefs yet make them work with shoe leather! Perhaps the owners just got off the boat. With a few adjustments, this could be the leading Indian restaurant in Wesley Chapel. read more

Friendly and welcoming staff, and the food was outstanding-from the appetizers, which the server recommended and which turned out to be amazing in taste and texture to the entrees and drinks. We were 100% happy with the entire dining experience at Rudraksh.
