Decided to give this take away place on Main Street in liberty. Not really out here to often and…read moreshould have heeded the reviews. Not great folks. I ordered the moo shoo pork, shrimp with lobster sauce and egg drop soup with wontons. The soup was the only thing I th thought was palatable. The moo shoo was full of celery and I hate celery. I think it supposed to be mostly cabbage and other vegetables. Pork out of a can maybe? And when I got home and opened the shrimp w lobster sauce it was just a blob, very unappetizing to the eye besides fishing around I only found 4 shrimp that were overcooked. Maybe I should have gone with my gut because the place was empty and when I walked in there was nothing going on in the kitchen I mean total silence. The lady at the front was happy to see me. No customers should have been my tell tale sign. No bueno.

That dish was chock-full of veggies, which was great, but the veggies felt microwaved instead of fresh-sauteed, and the protein wasn't all that abundant. This is probably mostly a take-out place, but we ate in. There was a beautiful planter with blooming flowers out front. The inside displays faded menu items and decorations and some peeling on the walls.

I'm really sad to say that the food I ordered tonight was very disappointing. I don't think that I…read morecan go back here anymore. I ordered the bone in ribs and they were so over cooked that I could not eat them. I don't know how you can serve something that you know is is over done and expect the customer who is paying a premium (these days) especially for ribs and think that is okay,It's not! This is not the first time I ordered something that has been overcooked. I frequent their crispy duck because the portion is a nice size and the sauce is excellent. However, one time before I ordered the duck and it was so dry and overcooked. I was so disappointed that when I placed an order the time after I specifically asked them not to overcook them. Now, I should not have to say that to the cooks in the back, they should know this. As a Resturant Owner, you should know that if you serve overcooked food your customers aren't going to be happy and then they're not going to return. I will take the extra long drive out to Jeffersonville or Liberty and get my Chinese food out there.

While the outside may not look like much, that doesn't paint an accurate picture. Inside you will find the friendliest staff to greet you. The food is always solidly prepared NYC-area Chinese food that is piping hot. Anything you can imagine is on their menu. They also have great combination plates for when you want a full meal experience. My favorites here are the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Steamed Dumplings, Pork Fried Rice, and they have fantastic Wonton Soup. Over the years I've probably had most everything. Every time I am back in the area, I ask for food from here. Really you can't go wrong.

Will say the dining room is beautiful and spacious. Had to get someone attention to order in, kind of weird but it was fast enough. So when The guy was showing me the menu, was cool of him to make suggestions since first time for me, he did jokingly say the end part of menu is popular since the Americanized Chinese food, I laughed and am like nah am here for the traditional, he give his suggestions in the traditional menu of what's popular, but I settled on beef ribs, white rice, pork dumplings and strawberry boba slush. For the drink, it was very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet, though I wish it had strawberry boba over the tapioca pearls. The pork dumplings were piping hot and very fresh, plenty of filling inside and not greasy. The dipping sauce was tangy and very vinegary forward, definitely a flavor trip. The beef ribs, were so melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, I really like gravy type sauce it was bathed in and really great ladled on the rice. Do wish I had more ribs though, since definitely the part of the meal, plus the plate it comes on, sells the meal. I did really appreciate how kind the people were here and very friendly as well.
