Did you know there were different time frames in which to have smog checks be valid? I sure didn't. I went in assuming that the smog check I got was a TWO YEAR check up. So I go all year with my tags bad because we couldn't find out why the smog was no good. Come to find out they made the smog check valid for THREE MONTHS. I wasn't planning on selling my car or anything of that nature so I wasn't and still am not sure why this happened. But $74 dollars was how much it cost me to get the smog check from here. The men that work here are really nice but this makes me weary of returning because yes, I am a woman. And yea I did go by myself. I would hate to get ripped off like I did , again. Hm...Let me get a second opinion and compare the price. My brother advised me to go down the street to Advance Auto. I showed Randy (young owner) the pictures and he said I may not need to do all that, let's just do your brakes and rotor disc and I will look at all the others things mentioned and will let you know or call you. Pay a deposit, order the parts, come back tomorrow to get it repaired. I'm glad I got it done today. He used original Toyota parts for the brake pads and Japanese parts for rotor disc, no aftermarket. He test drove the car. He explained everything to me and said I don't need to replace the shocks just yet but I will soon. My car can still drive safely on road.

He is always honest with what is going on with our cars. He never overcharges.
