Super fresh and delicious donuts. The inside is very clean and organized and the staff always recommends delicious flavors.

** Super Delicious ** ** Super Fresh ** ** Kind Service ** Go there now! Incase you don't read full reviews Mini Donut Factory is located in a strip mall and barely noticeable but am I glad we did. Walked in with a friend and it was quite. Easy on the eye decor. That was a bit of a red flag for me personally. There was just no energy until we spoke with the gentleman behind the counter who was super kind and had the energy. He informed us that all the donuts were cooked to order and we merely needed to choose the toppings. And delicious toppings they were! We got... Coco Pebbles Fruity Pebbles Bacon Maple (real bacon) Glazed Caramel They were delicious down to the last one! We'll 100% be back for more!!!

The shop is super cute and smells so yummy! The service is on point, very friendly and patient. The donuts were hot fresh and delicious!

Everything about this location was awesome! I was kindly greeted immediately and the employee was super joyful and cracking jokes. Made the short experience very fun! I ordered 6 donuts just for a quick snack and they put in two extra ones for me to try! It was adorable and really thoughtful. Highly recommend as well because they were all absolutely delicious and so fresh! Thank you guys for making my day :))

Very cute spot. Mini donuts are so good made fresh and you choose from a variety of flavors of decoration. Great concept but it does take awhile to get your order. I feel like it could use a pre order kiosk or a more efficient assembly line. We were the only ones there but I couldn't imagine what its like when they get busy But they are delicious so check it out if your in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mini Donut Factory, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and infectious enthusiasm, making me feel right at home. The donuts themselves are nothing short of spectacular. Each one is a delightful blend of creativity and flavor, showcasing the originality that Mini Donut Factory is known for. The variety is impressive, with unique toppings and fillings that cater to every palate. Every bite was bursting with freshness and exquisite taste, leaving me craving more! The packaging is equally impressive--beautifully designed and sturdy, it preserves the donuts' freshness while adding a touch of elegance. It's clear that every detail is taken into consideration to enhance the overall experience. The location of Mini Donut Factory is perfect, making it a convenient stop for anyone in the area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this charming spot is a must-visit. Overall, Mini Donut Factory offers top-notch service, delicious and original products, and a welcoming atmosphere that elevates the donut experience to a whole new level. I can't recommend it enough! p.s.: thanks for the bonus!

I left another local spot craving something sweet and found this place nearby. Its a fun little place preparing fresh mini donuts to order. With so many kinds I won't list everything I had, but everything we tried was great! You really can't beat a little two bite donut freshly made. My favorites, if I had to choose, would be the salted caramel and the strawberry shortcake. I saved a few for later and they're still fresh tasting, even the next morning. The place was clean and the workers were friendly. My donuts were ready in no time at all. If your nearby I'd definitely grab a box to snack on, you won't be disappointed.

Cute little donuts made fresh-to-order with choice of 20 toppings? Each donut was hot, fresh and a few bites. Fun for kids, or parties. My companions picked the brightest, most colorful donuts (fruity pebbles and strawberry) and I went for the toasted coconut with a blazing hot black coffee. It was a little sweet for me, so I only ate one. Super nice people here. They gave me a bag of about a half dozen donuts free. These would be great to bring to the office.

Great new local spot. Mini cake donuts where you can customize the donuts however you'd like with different frosting and toppings. They come out nice and fresh. Kids will love this place as you watch as they decorate and assemble the donuts. Donuts are a little on the pricier side but most food nowadays is. Not high end specialty donuts like Donut Vault or Do-rites downtown, but a good donut.

Who doesn't love freshly made donuts that are bite size and delicious?! You don't even feel bad eating them since they are so small!! The establishment is clean and pleasant to visit. Love showing up to friends houses with a box of donuts!

Such a cute little donut spot! The kids loved watching the donuts being made and decorated. There were only two workers and with everything being decorated and made fresh it can take time, but everyone was very nice. I will definitely be back again soon!

TLDR: Would come back here for the brunch items, but not the donuts…read more The good: wide assortment of flapjacks, waffles, omelette, breakfast sides and sandwiches, and burgers. Something for everyone! Ample parking lot AND a drive thru window! Satisfying portion sizes. The bad: if you snooze, you'll lose on the donut variety, so plan accordingly! I actually got up mid meal to purchase our donuts bc several customers came in between the time we arrived and the time we would've been ready for dessert. You can catch me snoozing at 6am, but not at donut o'clock! The ugly: the cream in the Boston cream donut used to be (atleast a couple years ago, at another location) reminiscent of a true vanilla, pastry cream or custard, but this Boston cream was an IMPOSTER! The cream inside was a slightly greasy, artificial tasting whipped topping that was atrocious. My 7yo rejected the French twist donut she picked bc it was a bit dried out and tasted nutty for some reason. Maybe it was touching other donuts in the process of being made or had some kind of cross contamination. I don't mind nuts, but the staling texture was off putting. This visit didn't live up to the Niles location, and can't wait until the little Glenview shop reopens.

I ordered the Southern Lovin biscuit sandwich. I got a big fluffy biscuit, a huge piece of chicken, and delicious bacon perfectly crisped. I dodged traffic on Arlington Heights Road to park at the lot across the street so I was committed to buy. I placed my order at the kiosk. There was an option to tip and stupid me, I tipped! Waited for someone to come out to greet me or pack my order. I was the only person in the store. There was plenty of seating, the tabletops were a little dirty, the floor had crumbs, but nothing gross. Approx. 5 mins later a girl popped out of the back wearing a T-shirt, called my name (yes - there was still no other customer in the store) handed me a box, and didn't say anything else. I asked her for a bag so I wouldn't lose my mochi donuts as I dodged traffic on AH back to my car. She bagged up my box and handed it to me. There was no hello, no thank you, no have a good day, not a sound except for my name. For about $40 a DOZEN (after tax), I would have expected some sort of customer service. I really hope this was a one off, not the normal for business. The donuts were good. They were fresh and chewy. The flavors popped and were a nice treat. However, for the cost and lack of customer care, I'm going to keep looking for another mochidonut location. At almost $4 for a donut, come out and say HI! The owner needs to do better at training employees.

We recently diverged from our usuals and tried the sando with pork katsu. It had some shredded vegetable and ketchup-base sauce. I am indifferent to it but I am not opposed to trying the other savory items. We have gone on different days and times over the years. The shelves are almost always well-stocked. Sometimes we would have a brief wait for them to replenish the raisin bread loaves but it is the mister's favorite so it is worth it. This has been my routine for decades, yet I just realized that I had never actually left a rating for it. What makes this bakery especially appealing is its soft, airy, and smooth bread and buns, which are handmade using ingredients sourced directly from Japan. My personal favorite is the red bean bun. While my sister loves their sandwiches and milk bread, which has an incredibly soft, fluffy, and moist texture. All of their bread and buns are made fresh daily. Many years ago, they even allowed their staff to take home any unsold sandwiches and bread at the end of the day! With increasing competition from newer Korean and Taiwanese bakeries, I hope Pastry House Hippo continues to stay competitive. As a self-serve bakery, it would be nice if the buns were individually wrapped, something many other bakeries already do, to help prevent contamination from careless customers. My most recent visit was on the second day of the new year, and I was happy to see the shop bustling with customers. I hope this little bakery continues to thrive for many years to come.
