Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Drove 35 minutes in traffic and showed up on time for my appointment and they had me wait while they "made some phone calls." After 20 minutes in the waiting room they informed me their x-ray tech wasn't going to be showing up for any of their appointments that evening. I'm on a super tight timeline in need of imaging before a surgery and this mistake completely screwed up my next month of medical visits. They offered no solution other than coming in a week later or driving over an hour each way to a 9AM on a Sunday appointment at their Bellflower location where I'd "probably have to wait because we would be squeezing you in." Reading the other reviews I guess I'm just unlucky, but man, y'all just screwed me way harder than you'll ever know with the month I have coming up. The receptionist was friendly and professional. She typed up the forms wi personal responses so all I had to do was sign. Very nice! Technicians were also very nice! Unfortunately, I was not able to leave with the results as the CD burner was not working. I'll need to follow up with another MRI location to receive the report and images. read more

I came in over an hour earlier as advised because of paper work. I had a 15 minute procedure but had to wait over 45 minutes due to the facilities delay. The delay was not communicated until I advocated for myself and inquired into the status and potential discrepancy. Not professional and not a place that I would recommend. read more

Everyone here was so helpful, friendly and kind. There's a parking lot to park in, and a locker to keep your possessions. I had to get 3 MRIs and they all went smoothly. The techs made sure I was comfortable for each and knew what was going on. Checkin and checkout was great too with helpful front desk staff and an online portal to get my report when it's ready. The office staff was quite lovely and knowledgeable. The Dr was fantastic! administered the necessary shot with ease. The girls were so professional very patient with me taking my severe claustrophobia very seriously and handled me with great care.. It was horrible but they took me through it with such great care. My appointment was at 10:00am, they told me to come early. At 10:15am I asked when I would be seen. The desk person said I don't know. At 10:30am, the tech arrived. Let me start off my saying ive had bad experiences in the past with MRIs due to being claustrophobic and the technicians lack of understanding. I came to my appointment concerned and all those concerns quickly dissappear with the help of Michelle. She immediately saw the look on my face and began building my confidence. She was very kind and allowed me to take my time in getting comfortable. She allowed me to enter the machine multiple times and explained the entire process. When other technicians would have told me to come back, she didn't give up and kept working on making me feel comfortable. This was by far the best experience ive ever had with an MRI. The MRI write up I received from the Sherman Oaks location was the most thorough report I have ever received from an imaging location. Most reports are one page. The report from Expert MRI was three pages long! Incredible work. I could not have asked for more. read more

My whole experience here was 10/10. From the front desk staff to the tech inside everyone was so kind and patient. Im VERY claustrophobic and Michelle really helped calm my nerves! And was so knowledgable about connecting with the patients. Marissa ( it was only her second day) and she stayed with me the whole time smiling and keeping me calm. I had an appointment at 8pm. Show up- drove from Hollywood - to be told there was a 2 hour wait. That is unacceptable. You need to call your clients and let them know - we schedule our whole day to fit in appointments. We have lives, children...your lack of consideration is not okay. All so you can make money. I've just left my MRI and I'm rather dismayed. MRI techs were fine. But the office is supposed to provide a CD of the images immediately following the appointment. I exited my appointment and was told with basically a shrug that the front desk's CD burner hasn't worked in more than a week. My appt with my orthopedic surgeon is two days away; I cannot wait for a CD to be snail mailed to me or wait several days for the radiologist report. This was the only appt I could get; I couldn't get in earlier. The ONLY solution offered by the front desk staff/manager was for me to buy a cd burner myself and bring it to the staff for them to use, or for me to drive all the way to Sherman Oaks (a 40-minute to an hour round trip) to pick up a CD from a different location. This is LUDICROUS. If the office has a broken CD burner, THEY should buy a replacement, or they should be giving someone from another location drive burned CDs daily to this location for all patients to be able to get what they need. It's totally unacceptable for all the patients who need their imaging right away to be told to drive long distances or buy office equipment themselves to provide something that ExpertMRI is supposed to provide--especially given how extremely expensive MRIs are. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable approach to patient care. And to boot, there was a filthy toilet plunger in the bathroom, which did not inspire confidence in cleanliness. I would definitely not recommend booking imaging here given this experience. read more

Extremely professional, efficient and top notch customer service ... I am very impressed and thankful

This week, I had to undergo MRIs for both shoulders, my back, and neck. Everything went smoothly until today. During the imaging for my neck and back, I wasn't secured in place and couldn't wear headphones because of the neck procedure. It was freezing cold, and as someone who is anemic, this made things very uncomfortable. No blanket was offered--just water. Mike mentioned that staying still would make the process faster. The car accident has left my entire right leg in pain, causing it to shake throughout. The mix of the cold and the radiation was unbearable. Being my first MRI experience, it was very distressing. The staff, particularly Carlos, were impolite, lacked compassion, and behaved unprofessionally, as if they weren't being paid. When I tried to share my experience with Carlos, he told me not to raise my voice--a tactic often used to stereotype Black individuals as unreasonable. I quietly walked out. I won't be returning to this location or any other branch. I'm giving three stars solely because of the excellent employees from my previous visits, but today's behavior deserves zero stars! read more
