Absolutely my favorite place to get imaging work done! Easy to find and complimentary valet parking! Unheard of in West LA. I gave the nice valet guy a cash tip for being so sweet and friendly (honestly, everyone should tip as you are saving $16+ over other places). Everyone from front desk staff to technicians are friendly, polite, and professional. I was in-and-out for my CT scan and Mammogram, which the front desk was able to schedule back-to-back for me. I received my test results via their portal in only a couple of hours. I will definitely return for all future imaging. read more

I have been going to this location for mammograms for years. My experience has always been really positive. I am always able to schedule an appointment within a short time frame. Everyone, from the front desk reception people to the clinicians, is efficient and courteous. I am in and out quickly and the parking is complementary. Most importantly, they quickly get a report to my doctor and are good about sending notice to me as well as to findings. I wish all medical facilities ran as smoothly. read more

I'm a long time patient of this office. I've had several bone density scans & mammograms over the years I was here recently for the yearly mammogram appointment. I was able to find a parking space in their lot. The check in went smoothly. The tech that did the mammogram was pleasant, professional, & responsive. She was kind enough to have 2 heaters on in the exam room. The exam didn't take long & I was on my way. I received the results on Providence My Chart the next day. I've been coming here for breast MRIs for approximately ten years and always have the best experience. I've tried places closer to home in the Valley and end up covered in bruises because they cannot find my veins. Tower Imaging's nurses never has that issue. Parking can be a pain on the weekends. Tower Saint John's Imaging, the better to see you... Hubby's recent upper respiratory issue manifested to extreme neck pain and discomfort due to major coughing episodes. Although through examination primary care physician deemed his chest clear, she ordered x-rays of both chest and neck. We requested diagnostics be sent to our chiropractor (to view neck issue) and although primary care physician could have had tests completed in her office, she was not able to legally share results. Sent us to Tower Saint John's Imaging. Walk-ins to Tower Saint John's Imaging are accepted as are scheduled appointments. Hubby was the former. Processed, seen within less than 20-minutes. Imaging took about the same time. Another 10-minutes we were sent home with both a MyChart link to test results and a CD to share with our chiropractor. Efficient. Pleasant. Professional. From my long ago visit, believe Tower Saint John's Imaging has garage parking. Do call to confirm cost, etc. read more

This review may appeal more to the "slocoast" readers ... Our rural county imaging services in San Luis Obispo County are abhorrent. First in that the waiting period can be downright scary (6 months plus?!) Say what?! Tower imaging got me scheduled within 2 weeks and could have probably seen me sooner if I had asked. Two, I'm not quite sure how much I trust Dignity San Luis Radiology. It's a gut feeling. I'm actually here at Tower today for a 2cd opinion on an MRI. I do not have anything concrete except that I worked for the company for 10 years and I know their standards, policies and procedures intimately. Three, I appreciate the valet parking. I was in & out for an MRI in under 45 minutes. Their waiting room, changing rooms & imaging rooms are spotless. The results are available through Providence's MyChart. I'm at the office currently. I had an appt for an ultra sound at 12:30p. I checked in at 12:17p. Watched an entire waiting room empty and refill and my name was never called. At 1pm I went to reception. I had clearly been forgotten. No apologies. Then told I'm next. I've now been literally standing here-- still not called. 3 stars. From Amanda at the front desk to Juno my X-ray tech and Allison my Mammo tech each was pleasant and efficient. The place is bright and clean. The waiting area is large and comfortable. Extremely rude and the technician was so rude and rushed through my skin now I have to go back again. They provide no direction before or during.- the place is entirely dirty and definitely inaccessible if you are on crutches or a wheelchair. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE trying to cancel an appointment. I called to confirm the cancellation of a PET scan appointment -- a scan my doctor ordered as part of my treatment plan, which I had to cancel because my insurance denied coverage. What should have been a simple confirmation turned into an unpleasant experience. Before the agent even pulled up my information, she asked how I had previously tried to cancel. I'm not sure why that was relevant before verifying my appointment. When I tried to respond, I was talked over. When I expressed frustration, she mentioned she'd been doing this job for 25+ years -- which came across as dismissive rather than reassuring. Here's the thing: longevity in a role is only an asset if you've held onto the empathy that makes the job meaningful. Patients calling about diagnostic imaging -- especially when insurance has denied coverage for something their doctor ordered -- are often scared and frustrated. If years of experience have made it harder to meet patients with patience rather than easier, that's worth reflecting on. This kind of work calls for compassion, not just competence. June 25th,2025 I went in for an appointment. I was told the valet parking was complimentary and there was no other parking closer. When I came out to get my car the I noticed the man pulling out my car from a very tight spot next. I checked my car to make sure no damage was done. The man had scratched and dented my new 2025 Honda Pilot. Of course the man denied it and tried to rub off the dust with his hand. I had an ultrasound today and Kathy was absolutely amazing from start to finish. This was my first time having this type of exam, and she made the entire experience incredibly comforting. I was taken in right on time with hardly any wait, which already helped ease my nerves. Kathy walked me through every step of the exam, explaining what she was doing and checking in to make sure I was comfortable. She did everything with such a pleasant smile, a warm tone, and a truly calming presence. Her friendly demeanor stood out even before she brought me in -- she treated everyone with kindness and genuine care. It's rare to meet someone who is both highly professional and genuinely compassionate, and Kathy is exactly that. I would love for her to do all of my future ultrasounds. Went and got a scan at Tower Imaging Global. I paid off the bill over a 3 month period. After my bill was paid in full, Tower Imaging continued to take money from my account. I called and asked for my money back... They replied that it was going to take anywhere from 30 to 45 DAYS! What the fuck. I called back 2 weeks later to follow up and they hung up on my while on hold. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!!!!!! If I don't receive my money soon I will have to pursue legal options. $675 dollars is a lot of money! read more

I just got out of my Doctors office 5 minutes ago and He gave me a referral for an X-ray. My Doctors receptionist advised to go and walk in and wait. (Early morning is a less of a wait.) For the entire time of an ultasound test, the technician had her radio playing and was singing along. I contacted Tower afterward. Their response: no problem. No apology either. So, evidently, it's unreasonable to expect undivided attention at Tower, and any concerns about the reliability of tests conducted amid distractions will be brushed aside. read more

I've been there several times, but this last time I was left with a super bad taste. Went for a prostate MRI, and they upsold me on this AI option for $40. I figured, "Sure, why not. I'd love to see how AI evaluates my scan just as a way of double-checking what the radiologist finds." Well, I never got the report. So I called them, and after a long hold, they told me, "Oh, you don't get the report. It's just for the radiologist." And I reply, "Huh? You're telling me you upsold me to a $40 AI report just to make someone else's Jobe easier? Does anyone pay to make YOUR job easier ... because I can safely say no one pays to make MY job easier." Silence on the other end. The woman is stumped. I told her nicely I'd like to get my money back because I don't think what they're doing is fair. They should certainly disclose to the patient that they'll be paying for something they'll never see. She tells me she doesn't see how I'll get my money back but that she'll get back to me. And I'm still waiting. I've heard nothing. This AI upsell is total rubbish ... nothing more than a margin enhancer for Tower St John's Imaging. It's a worthless waste of money to the patient. Learn from my situation. Don't fall for this. It's a scam. Shame on these people. Like they don't make enough money? read more

I have no idea why Tower Imaging would have a 3.5 rating. I have been going here for years and I'm always greeted by a kind and friendly person. You name it, I've had it. Ultrasound, CT scan and a couple of days ago an MRI. I'm crazy claustrophobic and the technician couldn't have been nicer. I can understand if you low raters were having concerns with the medical treatment you were in need of and were experiencing anxiety over it, but everyone I came in contact was kind and comforting. You must be mistaking Tower with another imaging company. read more

It's not the care that's the problem, the care was very good, it's the business side. They have this little scheme going on where they will let you give them a fat deposit to get imaging done before insurance gives them the auth (in case ins denies) if you need to get it done fast. They tell you that if insurance pays you will get your deposit back in 4 to 6 weeks. When you call the girl on the phone, she tells you that it will be more like 90 days and hangs up on you. SO in effect, they take you deposit, hold it for months, despite getting paid from insurance already and then keep moving the goal post. Just wait for your ins to approve if you can. Don't take the deposit option out of fear. read more

The best place in LA to get a mammogram - clean, fast, efficient, great location, parking

Went in for X-rays. I am a big guy and this facility had a bed which would hold me (the only imaging center I could find which did). Marvin, the X-Ray tech was super-helpful and kind the whole time, helping me safely get up onto and then off of the raised bed (est 34-36" off the ground). This could have been an awful experience (big people have a lot of those in scenarios like this, and are often treated with contempt). Instead, Marvin did a fantastic job of making me feel welcome and important. Please give this guy a healthy bonus or raise - he deserves it. FYI, don't bother prowling Wilshire looking for parking. The valet (on the side of the building on 22nd) is free. :) And whatever you do, don't park on the side streets - permit only. An outstanding experience. Highly recommend. read more

I just received an email from Tower Saint John's Imaging in Santa Monica, asking me to leave them a 5 star review. Unfortunately, they don't even deserve a 1 star review! The carpet on the floors on the stairway and second floor is so worn out that they have put duct tape all over to cover all of the rips in the carpet. The duct tape has now also worn out exposing all the ripped carpet. Considering how much they charge, you would think they would properly maintain the building. It took a complaint to Santa Monica Building and Safety to finally get them to schedule replacing the carpets, which should have been replaced years ago! read more

I had a surgery performed at St. John's and it was like being at the Ritz. Dr. Wilson and his staff spoil you as if you are in a candy store. But I had never been at Tower Saint John. First of all they have a FREE yes FREE valet parking. Then they treat you as if you were invited into a party and the host is greeting you. I was taken back when both ladies had grins on their faces. I thought for sure I must have spilled the tomato soup I had for lunch on my shirt. I looked all over and I asked, did I do something wrong? Only to get two full smiles instead of grins. I thought, boy I am something special. As I was sitting to wait my turn, I noticed that EVERY person walking in gets the royal treatment. There was nothing special about me. The person giving me the MRI, was happy to see me. Wow. A smiling Tech. Then I noticed even people like me who are in pain look jolly. What is this place? Does heaven have an Annex on earth? Then there is no checkout procedure. I came to the counter and the gentleman behind the counter asked me: what can I do for you? I said I am done with my MRI. He said oh good how was it? I said no I mean please check me out. He said we don't have checkout procedures. You are done. They didn't ask for my card, they didn't have me sign ten pages and they didn't take my first born hostage. What a relief. Just imagine if government agencies were like St John's. Or other medical facilities, or, well you get the point. I hope I never have to get an MRI or other imaging procedures, but if I do, it will be at St. John's read more

I was actually out of there before my scheduled appointment time as I came about 15 minutes early. Alison did the mammogram and she was lovely. You SHOUD GO there, If you want to WASTE your time, NOT get your thing done. GO there and experience the unprofessional way of costumer service. They do not even bother to help, then when I complain they just say "Sorry". That is what happen when you put a kid in charge of others. Stay away. Use St. John's Hospital option for all mri/ct/mammo for all radiology. The nurses have no idea what they are doing, even when you prompt the right questions... they STILL inform you wrong. I went in for Lung CT scan follow-up from last year due to nodule in my lung and breathing issues. Nurse seemed out of it, I even thought I was in the wrong place based on nurse being out of it. I felt something was off from appt. last year, and i asked, "shouldn't I take off bra?" Nurse, an older women well into her 60s, who should know basic stuff, told me bra was fine to wear...though my gut said something was wrong, I then thought maybe there's a new CT machine. ... I checked out, and asked front desk clerk if this was a new machine, she said no, and sure enough when I looked it up - YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO WEAR ANY METAL IN A CT SCAN B/C IT EFFECTS THE IMAGE BY A GOOD PERCENTAGE TO BE INACCURATE. So, I go back...and their head office ppl then try to cover their tracks and tell me radiologist says all is fine....when EVERY PIECE OF SCIENCE JOURNALS WILL SAY IT SKEWS THE READING. I then I have to get another referral to have redone...though you shouldn't be having radiation that often. So, there ya go. St. Johns great doctors...but Tower Imaging needs an overall. read more

Horrible communication. I went in to get a hip MRI with contrast, and the only warning they gave me is "we have to tell you this may cause infection". After they gave me the injection with the contrast, I went into shock. My blood pressure dropped super low and I passed out. Only then did they say, "yeah some people are allergic to the contrast." Also, my hip did not hurt much before the appt and after, it's been hurting me badly for the last week. This is apparently another side effect that isn't uncommon for patients to experience, according to my orthopedic doctor who requested the MRI, but they gave me zero warning before I did the contrast shot. It's an absolute shame that this lack of communication in a medical setting happens. Do better please, your patients deserve it. That being said, the staff were very kind and caring. It's not the staff that's the problem, it's what they are told to communicate (or rather, not communicate) about common side effects and risks. read more

I was worried about this place because of previous reviews I read about bad attitudes, service and possible racism. YIKES!! My experience was pleasant and my CT Scan was quick, the technician was nice and I was outta there pretty quickly. My only issue was that they attempted to charge me $150 for my copay when it should have only been $100. Previously I had been told $100 and then the day before my test the woman that called to confirm my appointment told me it would be $150, when I asked her why, she said because I hadn't met my deductible. OK, and WTH does that have to do with you trying to overcharge me for a copay amount that is clearly stated in my health plan? I contacted Cigna immediately and questioned this.. Tower has consistently scheduled me in sooner than other Diagnostic centers over the years. I needed an MRI on my foot and they scheduled me within a few days and handed all the insurance coordination. The reception staff are helpful, supportive and friendly. The orthopedist commented on the high quality of the MRI images. They also gave me a CD copy of the MRI within 15 minutes of the study completion for free! Frank L. read more
