Tried this new spot on a recent Tuesday nite. The inside dining area is closed, so it's take-out only. The building is a re-purposed former Wendy's, so ordering is easy at the drive thru, pick-up at the window. Service is super quick and friendly. And the food is terrific! We tried 2 of the hibachi combos - steak and shrimp, & chicken and shrimp. Each is served on a bed of fried rice with steamed broccoli & carrots. Shout out to the carrots - steamed super soft and deliciously sweet. The steak, chicken & shrimp are prepared in the traditional style - garlicky and soy-sauce salty. Everything is fresh; steak tender, chicken moist, a nice crunch to the shrimp. Each entree comes with great dipping sauce - in this case mustard- based. This place was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who knows the owners because they are the parents of somebody in her class. They have been about five times and told us we had to try it. They told us about it about two months ago and we have already been five times. It is the exact same delicious flavors of going to a hibachi grill experience night out except now we are definitely not in the mood to go and sit around a table with strangers. We used to do that for special occasions and my kids would request it for their birthday dinners at different places around town but now we have not been out to eat at in months. This place fills the void. I called ahead and got take-out meals and took them to my friend instead of cooking dinner for her after her mom passed away. Everybody in my family loves it from my five-year-old to my tween to my teen to my husband. If your kids don't like to eat vegetables then they might love the sweet soft cooked carrots that come with every meal. They taste kind of like sweet potatoes. Having hibachi dinner without any of the time or steam coming off of the table into your hair and make up is awesome :-) Call ahead and it can be ready when you get there or it doesn't take too long if you use the drive-through if you go as an impulse stop. My husband and I have ordered food through the drive thru twice now. It's super easy and quick to get food here. We love that you get your choice of protein with the fixings included - sauce, rice, broccoli, and sweet carrots. You get about two-three meals' worth in one container. I wish they would include onions in the regular order, but you have to get them with zucchini on the side. Everything has always tasted fresh and made to order. A new healthier drive-through option for the neighborhood. They are open right now even with all this craziness going on. Girl at the drive-through was very polite. I ordered the steak and chicken combination with fried rice, sweet carrots, broccoli and mushrooms. The fried rice is a little bit different than expected. I didn't see any egg in it. It kind of reminded me of regular white rice that was tossed in soy in teriyaki sauce and mix with corn and peas. The sweet carrots were super sweet so if you don't like lots of sugar on your carrots I suggest a different side. The chicken was really tender and flavorful. The steak was a little on the chilly side for this fillet mignon loving girl and didn't have a ton of flavor. The broccoli was cooked perfect nice and crunchy and seasoned well. The mushrooms were baby Portabella's in a little earthy for my taste. Overall it was a good lunch and enough for leftovers for another meal all $12! Hibachi restaurants aren't all that new to the area, but drive thu Hibachi? That's what sets this place apart from the rest! That and the fact they give you 4oz of yummy sauce (they call it mino sauce) with each order. The hibachi isn't the best I've had, but it's definitely fresh and the portions are huge! The mino sauce is sweet and delicious and compliment your hibachi perfectly! The menu is limited, basically just different combinations of hibachi and sides of different vegetables. Proteins include chicken, steak, shrimp, and scallops. I've tried every combination except scallops and my favorite combo is the chicken and shrimp. The carrots that come with the hibachi are very sweet. Keep that in mind if you aren't that big on sweet because they are literally sugar cubes dressed up as carrots. Luckily I like it sweet but it's worth noting. Up until recently this place due to covid was drive thru only, but it seems recently they have opened up their dining room. I have yet to go inside because nothing beats the convenience of hibachi to go, but one day I may go check it out. read more

Tried Mino for the first time tonight and it was excellent! We got a teriyaki chicken dinner and a hibachi steak dinner. The portion size was perfect, I would call it huge but definitely very generous and surely enough to satisfy. Every bit of the food was fresh and delicious. The Mino sauce was great and my favorite, the ginger sauce, was phenomenal. Shrimp were also tiny and over cooked, it came with carrots we asked if we could substitute extra broccoli but there was barely any broccoli. Maybe 5 florets. It is like a short version of Kobe Japanese steakhouse (I say this because it doesn't have the salad, soup, noodles)I had the steak and shrimp that comes with rice, carrots, broccoli and 4oz of their Mino sauce (yum,yum) and it was delicious. Rating the food and drive through service due to being not able to go inside. Super friendly drive through, I always ask for the possibility to have less seasoning or no seasoning and sauces on the side due to my HBP, they said no problem at the order window. Sometimes when I ask for this and other places have said no problem, once I get home, I am disappointed. Mino did not disappoint . My food (scallops stir fry) was minimally seasoned and sauce on the side, great flavors still emerged. My wife had the teriyaki chicken, ordered as is, no special requests. Very nice. The sweet carrots are something that I could eat with just about every meal. They gave us an array of the house made sauces. I am skeptical when I am told sauces are made in house. I was able to taste that the teriyaki sauce was made due to the caramelization of the soy sauce. The signature Mino sauce seems to be a mayo sauce and also is very good. this is a great place for quick hibachi. i get the steak hibachi and it comes with mushrooms and carrots i believe? but i sub my mushrooms for broccoli! i personally dont like the carrots, as they are sweet carrots, so they are like REALLY sweet and just syrupy?? if i could recommend a change to that, i would just have regular steamed carrots instead of sweet carrots! but overall everything is so good! read more
