Kitsune Sushi House gets a solid 4 stars from our party of 8. Our reservation was right on time, which already deserves applause these days, and our waitress was absolutely amazing the entire night. The food came out surprisingly fast for a larger group, and everything was fresh and really well done. The gyoza was outstanding -- honestly gave me flashbacks to Tokyo in the best possible way. If you've ever wandered around Japan hunting for late-night comfort food, you know exactly what I mean. The ramen was good, but definitely a little more "American remix" than traditional Tokyo or Okinawa style. A few extra toppings felt that were add because some one "didn't get enough for the cost". Also, the spicy ramen wasn't not spicy at all -- but still flavorful and enjoyable. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the decor was incredible. Great atmosphere without trying too hard. We got the sushi love boat, and the fish was really fresh, and tastefully done. Highly recommend this place. This is about our fourth time eating here, but first time visiting. All other times were to-go orders. First off, it's a great location, lots of room, only one or two tables for large parties. All other tables are booths that seat about 4 people. Interior lighting gives a great vibe. It would be dressy or casual, really up to you. The sake was really good, we had the Aladdin nigori. Not too sweet or sour. We then started with the miso soups and pork belly buns. I will have to say, I couldn't hardly finish the pork belly buns. The texture of the buns and the meat, it was very tough to chew. Not like other buns I have had. I won't be getting those again. We then ordered our sushi and it came out fantastic. I like raw rolls and my husband like fried rolls. This place has great options for both of us. Overall, great service and experience, we will for sure be coming back. read more

Had lunch with my DH at this new (to us) spot in Largo - we went for sushi but both ended up getting ramen. The service is super attentive, without being bothersome and the inside was clean and really cute with nice touches, like chop sticks tucked into the napkin fold. They have a great menu: sushi, noodles, ramen, hibachi - we had water, but they've got a substantial alcohol menu - including lots of saki choices. The inside was soft so it was a good texture contrast. I also ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen with chicken. The chicken didn't seem very integrated in the dish. It didn't have a lot of flavor. Came here a day after the grand opening and was amazed how nice the interior was. Very aesthetically pleasing. Inside has great design. Customer service was also really nice. Great staff, very helpful. The food was great too! Wifey got three sushi rolls. Almost all of them have names of cities or locations in Florida which was cool and I got a the ramen with miso soup and pork belly. Overall the food was good but it didn't stick out so much compared to nearby sushi joints. Will definitely be coming here in the future again! read more

This is a nice little sushi/ramen place with reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. They have a huge menu of predominantly sushi items with a small section dedicated to other meals, such as stir-fried noodles, hibachi, and noodle soups. We tried multiple things and were pretty satisfied with the quality and taste. The miso ramen was yummy- the noodles were springy, and the broth was rich. A bit too salty for my taste, but it was good nonetheless. The shumai and gyoza appetizers were yummy as well. The sauce that came with them was perfect and combined nicely. The California roll was delicious and very fresh. As for desserts, we tried the mango mochi, tiramisu, and tempura ice cream. All of them were tasty. The tiramisu in particular was very interesting- it was more like an ice cream tiramisu rather than a cake. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable. For all of this food, we paid less than $100 including the tip. The interior of the restaurant is very beautiful and decorated super well with lots of Japan-inspired art. It's a clean establishment and has good service. If you're looking for a tasty Japanese restaurant with a large selection and great prices, this is the one! read more

Our waitress took pretty good care of us and when something was missing they went and fixed it right away. The sashimi dinner was decent in both price and portion. Everybody in our party liked their sushi well enough, except for some people saying that it was just average and not anything spectacular. The consensus with us was that the rolls were the standouts and the nigiri and sashimi was just average or slightly below average. Very clean restaurant. Nothing will compared to my favorite sushi place in Clearwater.I had high hopes this place would replace it. I was looking for a 5 star rating sushi place near me and didn't realize this place just open not too long ago. The rice quality on one of my rolls started to fall apart and I noticed the bottom of the roll was mushy and wet. The only thing I enjoy was the tempera shrimp inside the other roll. The Waiter sucked! One waiter who wasn't my waiter to begin with asked me how my food was and then later followed my waiter. Afterwards more people sat near by my table and my waiter did not follow up with me once i stopped touching my food a solid maybe 10 mins during the time period. I had to asked my waiter for the check. I later sat another 5-10 mins looking down at my phone patiently waiting for another acknowledgment. This is where I asked her if they took Apple Pay. She gave me a weird face as if it was an odd request and told me to go up the register. I wished I didn't had to pay for that type of experience but I will never come back. read more

My husband got the ramen and it was good. They come in a big bowl (like seriously big lol) and pork belly was tasty. Good flavor of the spicy miso.
