Hands down the best strawberry shortcake in the South Jersey Region by far! The only thing I ever really buy here is their strawberry shortcake for various occasions, if you haven't called ahead of time, it's the one thing they always have stocked in the fridge and ready to go in a couple of varying sizes. They also have some of the best donuts and my favorite pastry they have is called a bear claw. That's been a secret guilty pleasure of mine. The best bakery you will ever find. I used to go here when I was little and I am so happy to share the experience with my daughter. Highly disappointed. I ordered a cake for my son's first birthday. They made it but made it pink because "they misunderstood and thought it was for a girl". I'm usually patient with ppl in the food industry because I'm a chef and know how it feels BUT if your not too sure of your order for whatever reason, call your client back, ask for further input. Following through with orders is key to running a business. And they had my sons name which boggled my mind even more as to why they made it pink. I've been going to Mino's bakery since I was a little girl. It's one of my favorite childhood memories with my dad. When ever I go to Minos I'm always excited and those childhood feelings come rushing back. Unfortunately, I now live closer to the pleasantville location than the one in AC and the customer service is completely different. Today when I went in I had to ask one of the girls a few times about the different cakes (there are no signs letting you know what flavor is which), she was clearly irritated. Even when I noticed how rude she was I still tried to take the high road because I was with my daughter. The girl was about 5'4" a little chunky with really dark hair, and a tribal tattoo on her left wrist. This isn't the first time I went to this location and she had an attitude. It's highly disappointing because each time I go in I'm super excited and always leave upset. This is honestly my last time going to this location. If you can make it out to AC go there. They do have the best strawberry shortcake in the area. However there cookies are really blah and not worth dealing with their terrible attitudes. I really hope their management gives them training in customer service or get rid of who doesn't want to be there. read more

Very disappointed. Called and placed an order for a cake and I asked specifically if this was the one on rt 30 and they said yes... my mom goes there and they say no it's in pleasantville on the other side on rt 322...then we get home to have the cake and out of 6 people NOT ONE OF US could eat it!!! The icing tasted like chemicals and was horrible very pretty but tasted so horrible! Don't depend on what they state their hours of operation are - they locked the doors early - Workers are so rude - wouldn't pay heed to the time when I pointed it out on my phone - wouldn't open the doors instead stood inside laughing at customers. The location is a bit sketchy. It's in p-ville, and the parking lot is around the back of the building next to an abandoned home(?) and some railroad tracks. The door doesn't have a sign or give any indication that it is the entrance to the bakery. Once you get inside though, none of that matters. Large selection of cookies and small cakes/pastries. They also do cakes and trays to order. I go mainly for the strawberry shortcake. I love strawberry shortcake and theirs is very good. It's not too sweet, and they use fresh strawberries, not goopy syrupy stuff. Their tiramisu is also really good. My boyfriend really likes their chocolate chip cookies, and I also like the baklava. They have chocolate covered baklava, but I prefer the regular - it's more flaky and crispy :) If you want to try some good strawberry shortcake (or whatever else floats your boat) don't be discouraged by the location and give it a shot. read more

I absolutely love the cakes & pastries here... Their chocolate covered strawberries are to die for. Erica is the best, I had a last minute surprise birthday party & needed a cake and it being for an 8 yr old it had to be a Minecraft birthday cake. One call to Mino's took care of everything with same day service. Any other bakery would have not been able to accommodate my request and believe me I tried calling a local bakery in my area.
