Minotti's is a rather small store, but it has a very good selection of liquor, wine and beer. I love stopping in here when I'm looking for a gift for someone. It's a very well-organized store and it's easy to find what you're looking for. The people working there are always so kind and offer their help. Frequently rude and sarcastic when you ask for bourbon. They hold bourbon for their friends and do not put allocated bottles out when received. We understand 50% need to go to wholesale accounts but they should be putting out half of the allocation for allotment. read more

They were highly recommended by all of our wedding vendors, and did a PERFECT job supplying us the alcohol we needed for our 150 person wedding. Joe Minotti (Rocky River location) gave us a near-perfect estimate of all the alcohol we would need so that we didn't overspend on alcohol we didn't use. I think this Minotti's has the best selection. We've been trying to make some of our favorite cocktails at home and, it turns out, our favorite cocktails require kind of obscure ingredients. Asking for creme de violette or green chartreuse at other liquor stores just yielded "....." faces and no help what-so-ever. At Minotti's they've been able to point us to what we were looking for or offer to order it for us, which has been really nice. This specific location, I think, is worlds above the location in Parma. The selection is bigger and the staff is nicer. If you're in the market for liquor (and let's be honest, who isn't!?) this is the place to go. Was a regular customer for the past 12 years. I will not step foot in the store again after twice entering the store to find all employees and management not wearing state-required face coverings or making any attempt whatsoever to encourage or require any sort of physical distancing within the store. What a disgrace to show such disregard for the safety and well-being of your customers. You just lost a loyal customer. read more

At first, I was going to say the following: I don't know why I wouldn't give a liquor store five stars unless it seriously creeps me out in any way (bulletproof glass separating you from cashier; seems really dirty; sketchy guys hanging around). But Alicia B. schooled me: Sometimes people really want to make GOOD mixed drinks. Aha, I understand now!! Really, what I want from a liquor store are some kind of not god-awful vodka, and maybe some peach schnapps (because I do love a good fuzzy navel once in awhile and I don't really keep other liquor in the house. Make that didn't -- because my husband loves to make Old Fashioneds and he needs bourbon for that). But I also enjoyed the atmosphere. Growing up in New York, the only liquor stores I ever went into were teetering over into "way too sketchy" territory. It was nice to feel kind of suburban with my liquor for once. I usually just do beer or wine, but next time I have a party (like the rager we're planning for my daughter's 2nd birthday -- not), I'll probably come back here for some staples. read more

Minotti's supplied the alcohol for our wedding on 6/30/18. The owner and other workers were extremely personable and helpful. Not only did they provide us with a good count of how much alcohol we would need, but they also were willing to give us suggestions of what types of alcohol we should go with. Minotti's delivers the alcohol to the venue. They also allow you to return unopened cases of beer and wine. They give you a fair, honest estimate and don't try to take advantage of you. They steal from customers. When I stop in I occasionally buy lottery tickets. Today I went in and had some tickets to check for winners. I began to scan my tickets and had 1 winner. Before I could finish scanning them all the clerk stopped me and offered to scan them all for me as it would be faster. After scanning he declared they were all losers. I stated that I know I had a winner but he insisted they were all losers. I asked for all of my tickets back but he did not return the winner to me and insisted he gave them all back. They are stealing winning lottery tickets from customers. read more

Extremely rude and disinterested staff. Bourbon selection was picked through and they bragged that they sell 30 bottles of most popular brands to wholesale/restaurants every week. Asky why they would not keep some inventory for end user customers since many prefer to support small business over Giant Eagle who seems to keep more stock. Worst excuse for liquor store. Terrible customer service, poor selection. Owners dont care and it shows.

The cashier who rang me up was rude: took him a good half minute to acknowledge me (he was doing something on his cell); slid my credit card toward me on the counter (rather than handing it to me); and tossed the receipt in the bag, smirked, and said nothing after processing the charge (um, not smirking and and a "thank you" would have been nice). In short, the guy (heavyset, middle-aged) gave off a real hostile vibe. Is it unfair to give the place a negative review because of this one bad experience? I don't think so, for two reasons. First, it can safely be assumed that if he acted that way with me, he has acted that way with many others. Secondly, such egregiously poor treatment should NEVER be experienced by any customer. read more

Will never buy here. The owner was extremely rude when I called today asking for a particular brand of bourbon. Hey said "If you buy a case of wine I might consider if not don't call here again." I understand it's a business, but juicing customers is wrong. I would advise going anywhere else. read more

Stopped by after work to buy my brother a bottle of rum for his birthday. Should have been a fairly uneventful transaction except when I pulled out my credit card to pay was asked if I had cash or could pay debit. I didn't have enough cash on me and don't own a debit card. Now instead of being able to checked out I had to listen to a lecture about how Minotti's was losing money if they accepted my credit card and blah, blah, blah. Then put a sign in the window that says no credit card purchases but don't waste my time because you are clueless how to run a business. read more
