Made an appointment to drop off my car by 10 am. I was told someone would be there at 9, but no work starts till 10. Got there, no one there. Called, was told can't talk, please text. Asked about key drop, did not want to have key "drop to floor" and break. They wanted me to leave key in a unlocked mailbox. Here is the text I received: "(1/3) of course the mailbox does not lock how else would the mailman leave the mail? Listen use the Dropbox or use the lock box or leave the keys in the damn (2/3) ignition your cars in the camera I see you the more you keep talking to me the longer it's going to take me to get there and I'll let me get the kids (3/3) dressed and get to work okay? These people either are thieves and liars, or they have thieves and liars working for them. I got a cheap detailing with a groupon and dropped my car off, when I picked it up it looked great, except instead of my $120.00 WeatherTech floor mats there were three mismatched ratty garbage floor mats. Two separate people said they took the mats out of the car themselves and said they were the garbage ones. The owner said it was one of the first cars in so he did it, my wife was one a the last people to drop the car off, he was lying. Then when I call him on it he calls me a liar, says I'll find them when I get home, and that I just forgot that I took them out. I would remember taking my floor mats out and replacing them with three pieces of garbage I've never seen before. Don't ever go here unless you plan on photographing your car at the time of drop off to prove what is in it. read more

We called to schedule service. Guy answered the phone with "what!" we asked was this the car wash place. To which the guy started screaming about we are not a carwash. Was irrational and angry. Husband said "i was hoping to get someone with some professionalism" to which he responded "professional like rubbing peepees together" we hung up He started calling us back, we blocked him, then he started texting. Mint Condition is a bad place to do business. Took my truck in to get detailed. They didn't even clean my Windows at the very top. Also bad customer service. I have a power wheel chair. As I was loading into my truck some guy, who said he was the owner, was so rude he was trying to load my chair an help with my ramps yelling at me to hurry and get my truck out of his way. ACTUALLY NO STARS but had to give one star to write a review. DO NOT EVER USE THESE GUYS !!! I dropped my Dodge Ram off to be detailed that evening about 9:00 using the drop box with instructions left on the dash as requested asking them to just wash out the truck bed and do not use a scrub brush on my head liner. I got a text 15 minutes later telling me they do not do truck beds, even wash them out ! What? I did not want it waxed just spray it out. I said ok. I took my Suburban down the next day when picking up my Dodge Ram. I did not pay much attention assuming they would have done a good job. WRONG! but more about that in a second. Again left verbal instructions on the Suburban to buff out the scratches on the side. When I got to work with the truck and took a better look and noticed bugs all over in the grill even though it was supposed to be an engine detail as well. Also the 'breath fog" as I call it, was still on the inside of my windows and just smeared around. The outside windows were still dirty and I still had 2 stains in my crew cab on the seats and one on the front seat. The glove box was still filthy and when I began to wipe it all out I found a 1/2" pool of water in the bottom of the center storage console seat. The headlights that they say they "restore" still had a haze on them as well. I texted him the next morning, early I will admit, but I figured he was up he said he worked at night so he would still be up. I told him that the scratches went down both sides of the Suburban even though I had only showed him the one rear fender. I also said I was bringing the Dodge back to have the stains removed, the windows re-cleaned and the headlights re-done. Well that was a mistake. I received 8 full length text messages for the next hour with fowl language and verbal abuse telling me to not tell them how to do their job, any idiot knows the window fog is from the moisture from cleaning the vents and it will go away and to come get my Suburban at 11:00 and never come back. There was a lot more to his messages than that but that was the basis of all of them. I had the same problems with the Suburban as the Dodge and it was still soaking wet inside when I picked it up. Took 2 days to dry out. Needless to say the breath fog in both vehicles is still there and I get a better cleaning at Sonic than these guys. read more

I have been to mint condition 2 times. Their customer service is very poor. Not friendly. They did a great job the first time and you can't beat their sales any where. the second time was not as good. However, I got a text message about a sale this past week and thought I would take in 2 cars again. The guy on the phone was so rude and told me to just go somewhere else. He was so abusive that I hung up on him. I will never go back. His business is up for sale. He definitely should not be in business with his attitude. read more

Bought groupon for auto detail and when i went to drop off the vehicle they explained that it was not available for my vehicle. As he explained it to me, i noticed an suv the same size as mine that was getting done. I understand they have restrictions but i would have been fine paying extra. He said it would cost more to use groupon and pay extra than if i just came and paid for it. I think he could have handled the customer service part better and saved me as a customer. Either way i went to hertz down the street and was very happy with their customer care, detail job and prices (much cheaper). I went to MC to have my car detailed that I just bought and they pretty much just sprayed armor all so heavily, it seeped into the dash board and stained the odometer section! I paid money trusting that they would do a good job, and they did not, I feel taken and after reading the not recommended comments about this place, helpless that they would even care to do anything about it. I paid for a full detail and all they did was maybe vacuum, spray amor all so now everything is dirty and super oily, and they didn't even clean the leather seats. I thought I was doing a good thing by supporting small business, but I learned my lesson. The one star belongs to the receptionist. She was very nice to me, answered my questions, and made it a pleasant experience. I don't believe if it was her detailing the cars, she would have left mine that way. Thank you Mint Condition! I went to get my car detailed on 2/20/16 at a business on 29th and Washington, Mint Condition Auto Detail. When I went to pick it up, the female working there told me she would get my floor mats and returned w/ the wrong ones. I told her they weren't mine and she said she would call and ask the person who she gave them to, to return them. I also had to ask her twice to wipe off the black marks on the bottom of my car. After I left, I went to put gas in my car and the buttons that you push to open the gas door and the trunk fell out. I left the door open for my gas, and returned. They denied any responsibility and then closed the gas door AFTER I asked them to leave it open. I asked to have the owner call me to see if this could be discussed and after a lot of avoidance they took my cell, home, work and husbands number and said they would have the owner call me. When I went home my husband took the panel off to see if he could fix the buttons, which he couldn't, and there was cleaning agent behind there. I called three days later, was told my mats weren't there and was hung up on. I had to work the rest of the week so I went in the next week (10 days later) They still didn't have my mats. Again I asked to have the owner call me. Well he did later that night! I have NEVER been talked to that way before! The owner, Shane Constable, was the rudest/crudest person I have ever talked to! He was so unprofessional and used completely foul language, told me I was out of luck, used the f word, among others, multiple times and ranted on. I was amazed he was trying to deal with a business transaction that way!!!! The next day, I had a call telling me I could pick up my floor mats and they would be out front since they closed at 5. When I got there, yes, my mats were there, however, they were filthy!!!! I would encourage everyone reading this to avoid this business and save themselves a lot of stress!!! Please feel free to share this as well!!! If you are interested, look up complaints that they have had previously. I wish I would have checked them out!!! Instead of trying to make it right they just insulted, lied and threatened! Well, I must admit they do a pretty good job cleaning your car. However, they are expensive. My real complaint is that when I pointed out how environmentally irresponsible it is to let the car sit idling for an hour or so just to get the mats to dry faster, the owner actually got very indignant and started talking to me very rudely. I then asked if he would not idle my car. He stated that he did business his way and if I did not like that, I should leave. I did. The owner is, at least was today, a rude and irresponsible person. I would hope that the Utah Department of Environmental Quality would point out how much his business derogates the quality of the air we breath. I will no longer do business here, which appears to be just fine by him. I first noticed what this business was doing during a car wash I had during an inversion period here and stated to the receptionist then that this was not a good neighbor way of doing business. When I took it in today is when I actually had to opportunity to talk with the owner. So if you want to add to the valley's pollution problems and what to get spoken to rudely if you complain, this is where you should get your car detailed. We bought two $150 gift certificates through city deal, made an appointment, arranged for a neighbor to drive us home, hired a babysitter to watch the kids and drove our two vehicles in to be detailed. They refused to honor the gift certificates or give our money back. Stay far, far AWAY. Their justification was that they were losing too much money on the gift certificates. read more

Have take many cars to them in the past, but they have taken a horrible turn for the worst in the last months. Have taken three cars to them in the last month. The first one was OK, but they put and extra trunk liner and floor mats in my trunk that I had to take back down to them. The second, the entire interior was so coated everywhere in protectant spray that my hands were coated after driving it home, and my pants were stained from it. The last car, they vacuumed up a small rubber insert in a compartment of my center console, and when I spoke with Shane (the owner) about it, he said he would replace it. When I searched and found out it was only $11, I sent him a note with the price and was in the process of sending a follow up text to say don't worry about it, when he called me and berated me for 15 min without letting me get a word in edge wise. He told me if I could afford a nice car, I could afford to replace the part without bothering him. Seriously sounded like he was on something. When I told him I was a regular customer and had taken 6 or so cars in to his shop in the last year, he laughed and said he could care less. I guess he doesn't need my business, so I won't be "bothering" him anymore. I suggest you don't bother him either. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!! We bought two $150 vouchers from deals that matter - one for my car and one for my husband's. We took my car in first and when I picked it up 8 hours later I had to wait for them to finish and was in a hurry when I left so didn't take the time to thoroughly inspect the car..Big Mistake! I got home and my husband noticed that not only was the car not cleaned all the way, they had torn the leather interior in two places. Also, they had only done about half of what they advertised and it was still fairly dirty. (the cupholders looked like they had just sprayed armoral on top of the dirt). We called to talk to the owner the next day and he refused to admit that they caused the damage but said he would have someone call us about repairing the leather anyway. Two weeks later and no call. We called again and the owner jumped down my husband's throat and told him that this was "a bunch of c**p" and that he didn't care how much we paid because he only made $35 off the deal. As if that makes this acceptable. Now I'm stuck with a voucher that I will NEVER use. It's very sad because we were happy with the idea that we were supporting a local, family owned business but it came back to bite us. read more

Worst experience ever. When I attempted to ask questions concerning additional fees and work they were suggesting, I was accused of being unreasonable. I was quickly passed from the customer service rep to the spouse of the owner and before I could continue to question what the extra service fees would be for, the owner snatched the phone and began to verbally chastise me using foul language and an aggressive approach to the situation. I eventually had to hang up and call the Ogden City Police to ensure I didn't walk into a situation where this insane business owner was going to take the situation to another level. Even once I was able to pick up the vehicle with a police escort the business owner was beyond irrational and unreasonable. Saying this was the worst experience ever does not even do this situation justice considering it was the worst customer service, for any service, for any industry...THAT INCLUDES CABLE AND CELL PHONE customer service...we all know how poor those 2 customer services can be. What business owner thinks it is O.K. to swear at customers? ...I know...FORMER business owners who no longer have customers and now have to shut their doors. read more
