Dr Tran is very personable and professional all at once. She went over my X-rays with me and she told me all about my teeth and did a very thorough cleaning. My kids love Dr Tran. They don't like going to the doctor's office but they love going to the dentist. Highlights: -She is great with kids and gets them to sit in the chair and stay in the chair with no problems. -She has special sunglasses that the kids can wear so that the light doesn't shine into their eyes. -She offers a lot of different polish flavors and my kids love that they get to pick their own flavor. -The treasure box is stocked with some really cool stuff. -The waiting room tv has Netflix. -It's a brand new facility so all of the equipment is brand new. I like that the X-ray machine does NOT require biting down on various X-ray pads that make you gag. This X-ray machine is gag-free. You just stand in the center if this contraption, rest ur chin on the machine, bite on a single use plastic thing with your front teeth and the X-ray machine moves in a circle around your teeth. Since it's the newest machine out there, it apparently emits the lowest amount of radiation compared to other X-ray machines. Our family will definitely be continuing our dental care with Dr Tran. read more

I was first a patient of Dr. Han's when she was working at a South Pasadena dental office a couple years ago and LOVED her! She was incredibly honest and straightforward about the work she felt I actually needed, gave me different options & approaches (which ended up saving me hundreds of dollars in the end!!), and did an incredible job of rebuilding a partially fake front tooth that was in desperate need of repair. She was very patient with all of my questions and was more than happy to take the time to explain what was going on in-depth. Fast forward a couple years to now (currently December 2015) and I realized it'd been a while since my last dental appointment, so I called the South Pas office I'd originally visited and was told she was no longer with them. I was so disappointed, but absolutely determined to track her down, so I started searching for her online and called through a handful of dental offices trying to find her. (I literally asked each receptionist if "this was the same Dr. Han who had worked at the aforementioned South Pasadena office".) Finally, success! I discovered that she had opened her own office (Mint Dental Loft) and immediately scheduled a check-up. She's just as wonderful as I remember and I'm going back again next month to get a couple wisdom teeth removed (something I'd been holding off on doing for years), but knowing that I'm in Dr. Han's more-than-capable hands makes me feel a lot better. I guarantee you'll love Dr. Han if you meet with her and get some work done. Her new office is incredibly pretty, well-lit, and has windows that look out onto the mountains, and her staff was also incredibly polite and helpful. Dr. Tran Han is a perfectionist. And a very conservative dentist. I also love that she takes photos of your teeth (in addition to x-rays) to actually document any visual change over time. She was wonderful with my 2 year old. First appt was free and more of a meet and greet where she talked and educated both my daughter and I. She let my toddler push the buttons to move the chair. My daughter had a great experience and 6 months later when we went back for a cleaning she was able to remember her positive experience which lead to a great cleaning. I got Invisalign with Dr. Han in January 2023 of this year. I have to tell you something happened that I did not expect I started to lose weight and when I told Dr. Han that after a week of wearing these I lost 3 pounds we all laughed and I told her I'm going to call this the Invisalign diet. I decided to take advantage of the weight loss, and I started eating more healthy. I had my three month follow up with my doctor on April 17th and my report was glowing. Here we are in April and I am diabetic and I have high cholesterol and high blood pressure but since January I have lost 23 pounds, my A1c went from a 12 to a 7. My cholesterol is normal and my high blood pressure is normal. When I told Dr. Han the great news I got from my doctor and she was just as elated as I was and said that she has had many patients whose health has improved while wearing Invisalign. I eat with my Invisalign on and because you have to take them out and clean them every time you eat I have cut down on my snacking in between meals and started eating the right foods and more healthier which I believe contributed to all of this. I want to thank Dr. Han and her staff for always being kind and supportive, and I have had many dentist over my lifetime and this is by far the best dental office I have ever used. Definitely one of the ALL TIME WORST. I accidentally checked the wrong box on a form and they refused to allow me to correct it and said it wasn't a problem. Then denied me services until I got a full doctor's physical and a sign off. These people are cowards in the worst sense of the word but they are very POLITE and that's the only nice thing about them. Most scammers are polite. I walked out without services but they charged my credit card then told me they issued a refund. I contacted my credit card and there was no refund!! Be careful these people are liars. scammers and I suspect much more! I feel pity for the nice ladies that work there! I'm in excruciating pain. Stay away from these cowardly scammers is the best recommendation I can give. Fortunately there are many great dentists in the area and I highly suggest going to them first. PS: I wouldn't go to MINT DENTAL LOFT if they were the only dentists in the state! NEVER TAKE A CHILD HERE OR AN ADULT! I think any good reviews are probably fake or paid for. I've been a patient of Dr. Han's for about 4 years now. I went to her right out of college after years of not having Dental insurance. She evaluated my dental health and there was a lot that needed to be done after going through college with no dentist. Dr. Han and her assistants were helpful, informative, and gentle. They were transparent about the work I needed and the coverage of my insurance. Throughout these past 4 years, I've had a few cavities re-filled with white filling, some new cavities filled, a dental implant, and Invisalign treatment. My 11-year old son just had his first appointment at Mint Loft Dental this week. We both left the office so happy, my son was actually skipping to the car. After having very sub par care at another dental office we were long overdue for finding a new DDS. Mint dental loft whole staff is great!!! Every single person I came into contact with was so attentive. Dr. Han is really knowledgeable, sweet and personable. She saw that I had a jaw problem and recommended that get a splint to fix the problem and a deep cleaning. The deep cleaning was done by Daniel the dental hygienist. I received a 99 dollar new patient mailer from Mint Dental Loft that included a cleaning. Nearly two hours into the appointment, it was clear I would not get a cleaning: dentist Tran Han was too busy trying to up-sell me on an ELEVEN HUNDRED dollar deep clean for which I would have to make at least " one other appointment", and another THOUSAND dollars in other dental work. She said the 99 dollar "superficial cleaning" could be used after the expensive procedure she was pushing. That's unscrupulous advertising at the least, untrustworthy unethical behavior at worst. For 99 dollars, I got a sales job from an alleged medical professional supported by a few X rays. Truly disappointing. read more

I recently visited Dr. Han's office after years of not going to the dentist due to past experiences and anxiety. I often received their mailers. I had been wanting to find a good dentist, but many reviews for the dentists my insurance accepted were not that great, so I kept putting it off. I finally switched to a PPO plan and made an appointment here. I was so nervous, but from the moment I walked in their office, I knew I had found "the one." Super cute office with a friendly and knowledgeable team. I had two back-to-back appointments - one for consultation and xrays and the other for the cleaning. Dr. Han, Martha, and Riza were amazing. They explained everything and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. The cherry on top was that about a week after both appointments, I received two handwritten Thank You cards in the mail. They match the aesthetic of the office, which I love. Riza and Martha wrote such sweet notes of thanks. That personal touch really means a lot. Oh my, I hate going to the dentist. Well, not here! Dr. Tran and her staff are really professional and friendly. All the equipment is new and hi-tech. Loved the stand-up, vertical x-ray machine that moves around you.
