I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hahn and her office staff. I consider myself quite a picky patient and have been putting off going to the dentist for a quite a while (years) as my last dentist retired. The staff were very helpful and friendly over the phone and during the office visit. The office space was convenient to get to (just a few blocks from the 210 freeway) and I thought it was very pleasant and clean. I brought in 2 other family members for cleanings and they liked the experience, and one of my kids had some dental work done as well and it was a good experience for him. Yay! read more

I had my front tooth veneer knocked off by the anesthesiologist when he was pulling the tubing out of my throat after surgery and I needed to have it replaced right away. The moment I was able to get to a dentist I called Dr. Hans office at Mint Dental Loft and the staff member that help me was very accommodating and understanding and booked me for the next available appointment first thing in the morning. I was greeted very warmly by the front desk person and even by name which really impressed me and then Martha came out to take me to a room and get me set up to see Dr. Han. I want to thank Dr. Han And Martha for their professionalism and excellent attentive service. They made me feel so welcome and I felt as if I'd known them all along. I could not be happier. I stopped in on a whim to check out the place, and although it was closed, Dr. Tran happened to be there and opened the doors for me. I talked to her for at least 45 mins, and set up an appointment for both my 3 year old son, and myself. Her fantastic "bedside manner" (reclining chairside manner?) was apparent from this initial conversation, and she went above and beyond the call of duty answering al of my questions--even those that did not have to do with her practice. My son's dental appointment, which must mention was his first ever, could not have gone any better. Although this is not a pediatric dentistry, she was full equipped to deal with a very young child. Did I mention this was his FIRST DENTIST VISIT EVER?? Dr. Tran is a very modern dentist. You will notice it immediately from the sleek and clean decor as you enter. Her computerized check in system and digital reminders allow for a very efficient visit, and her xray machine which immediately imports its images to a computer all seems very state of the art. It is very clear that she is very meticulous in her record keeping and overall operations. I left the dentists office beaming. So happy that my son did so well on his first dental visit, and so happy that Dr. Tran had facilitated it. I could not wait to get home to yelp! I loved my old dentist and her hygienist, but when my dentist retired, I couldn't justify driving out 50 minutes to her old office to get my teeth cleaned by her excellent hygienist anymore. A neighbor recommended Dr. Han at Mint Dental Loft, and I'm so happy! Not only is it just a 5 minute drive from my home, but the entire office is so high tech and modern, and Dr. Han, Janet (the receptionist) and Jasmine (the dental assistant) were all wonderful. Dr. Han showed me high def pictures of all my teeth, videos of how my bite is off, and possible options to correct my bite. Dr. Han is the best dentist I've ever had. Her professionalism, and the staff's, is most impressive -- so much so, that I actually enjoy going to their offices for my appointments. Dr. Han takes time to explain things, and is reassuring, highly ethical, and trustworthy. For years, I've had to endure--with other dentists--aggressive selling regarding certain treatment options. But, after speaking with Dr. Han, the issue was far more complicated than I previously had been lead to believe. She takes seriously the maxim of "first, do no harm." Fall 2018 Update: Dr. Han is wonderfully patient with children. She has a calming bedside manner that will soothe even the most difficult child. And, believe me, my 7-year-old son is difficult, especially when it comes to things like probing his teeth. Recently, his fear got the better of him, and he had a meltdown in her office (despite the sedative effects of nitrous oxide). But Dr. Han kept her cool and took the time -- nearly 40 minutes! -- to counsel and gently calm him. The degree of patience she demonstrated was extraordinary, far beyond the call of duty. My son now has developed a genuine affection for Dr. Han. So has my 5-year-old daughter -- who, at every visit, is thrilled to see Dr. Han. My son and daughter trust and adore her. For this, I credit Dr. Han's warm demeanor, friendly personality, and obvious skills as a dentist. Dr. Han's office is a general dentistry practice, but that shouldn't dissuade you from bringing your children here. Dr. Han taught pediatric dentistry at USC for a number of years; she is an expert on how to communicate with and treat child patients. Ever since I was a kid I always dreaded going to the dentist. The offices were drab, the magazines were old, the staff were usually hurried, the dentist themselves were cold and unrelatable, so it's no surprise that I, like many other people, would avoid going to see the dentist. After many years of putting off at least a checkup, which would most likely lead to the discovery of cavities, I decided to make the dreaded call to schedule an appointment. Like most people these days I decided to scour Yelp for reviews about dental offices, not just in the area, since I was willing to drive anywhere for a pleasant experience. I came across Mint Dental Loft on multiple review sites and their feedback really stood out for me. There were an abundance of other dental offices that did "great work" and were "very professional" but Mint Dental had reviews that showcased how much they cared about their patients from the first point of contact. I called in to schedule an appointment, I spoke with the receptionist Tania who was very friendly and personable was able to get me in scheduled for an office visit fairly quickly. On my visits I was greeted by each member of the staff in a cordial fashion. Tania and Janet at the front desk were extremely helpful. The staff would chat with me in the waiting room before being taken inside. Jasmine, the dental assistant to Dr. Han, continued the warm and friendly demeanor as she greeted me and took me back for x-rays and room/chair designation. All of Dr. Han's equipment is pretty fancy and high tech. Nothing is old or dated. The decor is up to date as well. The views from the dental chairs showcase the beautiful San Gabriel mountains, giving you a sense of peace and relief, if you are a person who suffers that pre-dental work anxiety it helps puts you at ease.. They have an iPad where you can watch movies/tv shows while Dr. Han and Jasmine work on your teeth, this really makes the time fly by during those longer visits. Dr. Han is extremely kind and professional. She makes you feel comfortable and is always checking to make sure you have no pain and are doing well. She explained every procedure that she recommended to be completed for healthy teeth. She answered any and every question I had in full detail. She never seemed rushed to get to the next patient. She even followed up on her own personal time after hours to give me a call and see how I was doing or if I had any further questions. I can safely say that my overall experience at Mint Dental Loft has been the best exam/procedure visit from any of the major medical areas (dental, health, vision). Dr. Han and her staff show that a great experience doesn't just mean getting the work done in a professional and timely fashion, but to also go above and beyond that in caring about your patient and making a connection with them. I decided to try this dentist for my 3 children because it's a 5-minute drive from my home. I was SO happy I did. Dr. Han was really great with the kids, and they loved the whole experience (in spite of having cavities). Also, the office is pristine, which I loved. I had a dentist before but I was looking for someone local and also someone that worked well with kids. My son was 2 years old at the time and I wanted to make sure I found a practice that he and I could both be happy with. So I booked an appointment for a cleaning and was really impressed with the staff and facility. Everything in the office is new and well designed but most importantly the staff was just over the top amazing!! I am happy to update my review on the Mint Dental Loft team. I have been a patient for about 3 or 4 years now. I am still quite pleased with my treatments - personal and dental. If you like painless dentistry, this is the place. If you like a pleasant and friendly staff, this is this place. By the way, they (Jazmine, Zinna and Dr. Han each have beautiful teeth). They are a fun and cohesive group, and I always look forward to my dental appointments (I know it sounds crazy, but I'm a teeth freak). Dr. Han has been successful with making dental adjustments for me that others said could not be done, so "How ya like me now??!!". The office is nicely appointed, and is always clean, with nice, new advanced technology equipment. I've been going to Mint Dental Loft for over a year now for my own dental services, and a few months ago at my last cleaning I found out that Dr. Han used to teach pediatric dentistry! I was overjoyed because I had been desperately searching for a pediatric dentist for my 8-year old daughter for over a year and after visiting several pediatric dentist offices or dentists who specialized in pediatrics, I still was unsatisfied with their services or treatment plans for my daughter so I continued to postpone her dental treatment. Once I found out about Dr. Han's history with pediatric dentistry I booked my daughter an appointment. My daughter was extremely nervous during her visit, but Dr. Han and her team were so amazing! They made my daughter's dental experience a positive one and I'm happy to say that not only does my daughter no longer have cavities, but she's also no longer afraid of the dentist. At my old dentist I would have to wait over 2 hours just to be seated when I have an appointment already. Best dentist that anyone can ask for!!!!! I came here today with my bf to get both of our teeth cleaned. Out of all the dentist that I have been to she is by far the best. She answered all the concerns I had about my teeth and went over with great detail on how my teeth looked on the X-rays. Her work is amazing! This dentist seems like it started off good. My grandson went here, so I said well let me give this location a chance. Well, I went and I have two dental insurances, and I guess their goal was to use up as much of the insurances as possible. I was told a root canal, possible two, deep cleaning, and more. I went for a second opinion, and no root canal was needed, for either tooth. They said they can charge you $75 if you are 15 minutes late, but they can pick and choose who they charge. The office will suck up all your insuramce money. I would not recommend this office, they are dishonest. read more

She took at least one hour on my first visit to explain why I was having serious problems and she delineated a course of action in writing with a quote for the costs, then she relieved my pain (most important). The office is impressive - clean, new, high tech. Tanya was very accommodating in scheduling an appointment for me but I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience thereafter. I made an appointment to have a crown placed. My situation was time sensitive and I made that very clear. Instead, Dr. Han spent the time discussing the need for an occlusal adjustment - essentially grinding my teeth down to create a more harmonious bite. Mind you, I had/have no complaints with my bite or jaw. The cost $1,500.00 - not covered by insurance. I insisted on proceeding with the crown and was advised there was no guarantee the "onlay" (which Dr. Han prefers over crowns) would not break if I didn't get the occlusal adjustment first. I paid a $100 dollars for the evaluation that I neither needed or wanted. I ended up going to two other dentists who insisted the occlusal adjustment was highway robbery for someone like me who has no major jaw/TMJ symptoms. Come to find out, Dr. Han recommended the same occlusal adjustment to my father in law several weeks ago. We can't all be needing this major adjustment for $1,500.00. I ended up having my crown done somewhere else for $300 less. I appreciate the high tech equipment but it comes at a cost to upsell unnecessary services. read more

My whole family has been going to Mint Dental Loft regularly for almost two years now and we love it there. Here is why: 1) Dr Han and her staff are very capable and highly trained (lots of awards, certifications and fancy degrees on the walls!) in addition to being pleasant, down to earth and friendly. 2) They are fair and ethical. No pushing you into procedures you don't want or don't really need (and trust me, I've had plenty of dentists like that!) 3) The Dr and her hygienists are gentle with my teeth. I don't feel like I'm in a torture chair--it actually feels more like I'm at a boutique salon. 4) Everything there is state of the art. 5) The office is extremely clean, modern, and pleasantly decorated. 6) They are great with small children (my preschooler has zero problems going there!) 7) Making appointments is easy and they are really good about sending you reminders. 8) The last "goody bag" I got from my recent appointment had a little booklet in it about happiness. It was my first experience going yesterday (went because of the high reviews on this website) and boy, I have to say the reviews on here are well deserved. I was super impressed. The office was one of the cleanest I've seen - well kept, and charming. The whole atmosphere was was that of smaller, but more caring business practice. Dr. Tran is just super great :) The checkup was very legitimate - they took xray and close up photos, and Dr. Tran explained every aspect of what is wrong with my teeth. The cleaning was super thorough and didn't seem rushed and crappy (like my last dentist who always seemed to finish check up and cleaning suspiciously fast). I don't have much dentists "phobia" but nonetheless, she was very gentle and made sure that I was ok throughout cleaning. And finally, the best part! Dr. Tran went through the best strategy with me to prevent further decay and to avoid drilling out my teeth (unlike other dentists who would just drill and fill for the money). This is totally going to be my regular dentist's office, and I promptly made another appointment! Here's the solution for anyone who has had bad experiences @ the dentist.
