I really enjoyed my visit today, the staff is amazing. I am not exaggerating, I had braces many years ago and when they were removed it's a lot that was not told to me in regards to oral maintenance and I got that information today along with the assistance of the flossing and oral care. I will be returning back to MINT because this is the best experience by far that I have had a dentist office and I appreciate everything that was done from beginning to end during my visit. Told me to come in and that they would take $100 off my already expensive bill, and give me a payment plan. Then I get there and nobody is informed of the situation. So i have to explain the circumstances. Then after they cleared it up she said I would have to pay upfront a $100 for the exam. And left me confused. I refuse to pay that and when I went back the dentist informed me which tooth it was anyways. Which is the original tooth I was supposed to have serviced a long time ago. Then they come with the treatment plan. It's $2800!!! And required half upfront. This place is a scam and they pray on people. Don't waste your time or money. Where do I start? It gives me great sadness to have to express such a negative review of Mint Dentistry to share. However, I have been going back and forth with this establishment for about two months. I chose to frequent the Spring location for the sake of convenience with travel to and from my full-time job. My first impression was that of awe and great satisfaction due to the customer service especially upon entering the office. Once taken to the back, I explained the desired service sought which included two veneers although I originally asked for crowns. Long story short...I'm still waiting for one of the two and the one that I have was not sized correctly. I am a very patient woman who overlooked several flaws as we are all human and will never get everything "right." I have always been nothing but kind in my communication efforts with staff. I was understanding up until the ball was dropped over the Christmas holidays. After submitting a Google review about my experience, I was contacted and thought the issue would be resolved. Again... I am still waiting. I am a professional woman and current wearing a unappealing temporary that is no longer glued in. I have been back to the officee several times to have them glue it back to only come loose again. I represent my organization at meetings, events, etc. Now, I cringe at the thought of holding conversations with my colleagues for a fear that the tooth will fall out as it has before. After seeing the billboards and hearing the commercials, I thought I would give Mint Dentistry a try. I now regret that decision. I went there willing and ready to pay out of pocket for the services. I was not asking for anything outside of what has been publicly communicated that they are capable of doing. All I'm asking for is for them to complete the job they started as I have already spent over $2,000.00 for the work. I am honest woman who has been fighting for my life by confronting the likes of Lupus and Leukemia. I need a break from the fight. I love Mint! They are nice & high tech with everything except the x-rays. I've been to dentist where they don't put the hard plastic in your mouth anymore but they still use those. Very clean, the staff is awesome/friendly & they work with your insurance to keep your prices close to nothing! You get massage chair, headphones to listen to music or you can watch Netflix or listen to Pandora while your getting your teeth cleaned. I am terrified of needles but they made that painless, the doctor was very good. They give you free whitening no questions asked. I truly enjoy them as a dentist. They are very organized you won't wait forever to be seen & they now have weekend hours! Super plus! Try them you won't be disappointed. read more

PSA:: I have "High anxiety" about going to the Dentist so I like to get in and get out, quickly. Upon arrival I was greeted and everything was smooth since I'm a returning client ( frequent the Cypress location however this location was closer to my job) but once I got to the back everything was sooo Slooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww. I asked for the dentist about 2 times and each time I was told he was coming. Smh Can you please me considerate of your customers time!! Finally when the dentist comes, he says sorry we are over booked". Not my issue though. Nonetheless he told me I had great teeth and was done. I went to my regular check up (keep in mind I spent $10,000 last year with them). I never had to pay to clean my teeth, unless it was a deep cleaning. This time I got charged $25 for my deep cleaning which I was fine with it, but then they turned around saying I didn't need a deep cleaning so they would give me a regular one and refused to give me the deep one they said at first I need it (even though I was charged for it at front), same thing for my fiance. Also one of the teeth they worked on, got a little damaged because of their fault, so when I mentioned it, at first they insinuated I was gonna get charged for it. I got livid, so I talked to Bailey (the assistant manager) and while she tried to help and clarify the situation, CHARMONIE POPE (the district manager, so she said) was VERY condescending, rude, and showed no even one simple care about the situation and their unprofessionalism, knowing that I'm a long time customer who once again spent thousands of dollars with them. At the end I got my tooth fixed for free as it is supposed to be because of the said "lifetime warranty" and more because my fiance threw a fit. But for the cleaning and everything else, I'll go somewhere else where I can get valued as loyal customer. Don't go to mint dentistry where management (like ms Pope) don't give a flying care about you. read more

New review.. After having good experiences the past 3 years, I've had the worst experience in customer service. They no longer do the over the top greeting. No problem.. I was handed a clipboard without a hello from the gentleman manager.. ok, I'll look over that and just complete the form. I leave form and sit.. for 35 mins. Ok, no problem since I was 12 mins late myself. Yes, I called to let them know of course. I was later offered water after sitting about 20 mins by a nice receptionist. I get x-rays, nice lady there too. The dentist.. eh. Starts rattling off what she sees. When I asked what she said, she says she only talking to the assistant. ok.. i let that pass too. She then tells me I have 3 small cavities and suggests a deep cleaning. I wait another 15 mins or so.. notice a email saying I have a appointment a hour from now. In walks the gentleman I encountered with the same lackluster customer service. I'm assuming he's the manager since as I sat he gave authorization for someone to go to lunch. He tells me the cost for what was told to me from the dentist as minor cavities as approx $350. Then the more intrusive cleaning at $125. Well she NEVER even touched the back of my mouth/teeth where she said I needed said deep cleaning. I said no I don't want that today and asked for a regular cleaning. He says NO. He goes on to say that's what she said so that's all I can do. I've kept up with my dental hygiene my entire life and NEVER heard of this. He rolls his eyes as if I'm again bothering him and said to sign the acknowledgement that I was told about allll I need done. It says $1500 and I will be filing a dispute with my insurance if it's charged for anything other than the x-rays. I'm extremely disappointed in spending over a hour and nothing actually done to my teeth other than a x-rays!!! I'm now looking for a new dentist. I travel across town to this location and it's gone completely downhill All new staff and horrible management read more

This has been a terrible experience.... The staff was so nice while in office. The after care has been more painful then actual visit. I was given a prescription for pain meds that was flagged at Walgreens. I called and was promised it was corrected. NOT! Next day after a night of pain still no meds. So here is my honest review of mint dentistry. I walked in and was warmly greeted by staff. She had me sign forms and I was able to fill out the rest of my information via an ipad that they also allow you to keep for entertainment while you wait. Staff is friendly at the front thats always a plus. Quinesha aka Q did my xrays and I loved her personality and spirit. Thanks for the laughs. So I had my xrays done and then was placed in one of the chairs which you can put the massage settings on and offered the option of Netflix or hulu. All positives. Q also molded my teeth for my very own take home teeth whitener kit (my mouth later broke out from this guess I'm allergic). I had a chance to talk with the dentist Jay.. which was a breath of fresh air. I mean talk about thorough and sweet.. she made me feel calm and I appreciated her for that. She addressed my concerns and also what concerns she had for me. This visit was going soooo well almost had a 5 star review until I had to sit and wait for them to verify insurance that they had already received from me twice. They had called me through the week to verify, my husband was able to come in with the same insurance no problem in and out great experience. I however needed to be at work and wasn't expecting to spend 3 hours almost at the dentist. I didn't even get my teeth cleaned which bumed me out. I also didn't get my dental goodie bag that every one else received walking out (I wanted my bag) all in all I was truly agitated that I only received a consult after 3 full hours. The admin work should've been complete.. they were waiting to see if my insurance covered a cleaning they weren't sure that I could afford That day so I also didn't get the free teeth cleaning that would've been covered by my insurance. 3 hours you guys have to do better. read more

My 1st appointment was awesome, I raved abt it to everyone..let's fast forward to my 2nd appointment & now I am feeling like I am purchasing a car. The overall niceties were over the top but the selling tactics are horrible..telling me I need deep cleaning which is not 100 % covered as regular cleaning is. I explained I did not want this & was told I had no alternative because the dentist says so therefore I could not get a regular cleaning after I was told otherwise by their 800 #... My 1st visit December 15th was pleasant even though they only did an exam saying that no work would be preformed due to dr not being there. I was then scheduled to go in on December 29th. I arrived 45 minutes early to be told that all the work wouldn't be done because they were super busy (isn't that why its called scheduling). At this point I'm upset because I done left work to get my dental work done. After speaking with Office Manager she said they would try to get the work done but by this time my BP was up. No work was done and I was told that when I came back for my next appointment on the 31st if my BP was up I would need to be cleared by my Dr. I took the initiative to go to the Dr on the 30th. Dr said I was good to go and gave me BP medicine. Return to dental office on the 31st about 7:45 and upon arrival at check in I told the young lady that I indeed went to dr and was given BP medicine and she responded great and took my payment. Once I got to back BP was up and I was then told to take form to Dr to be cleared. I drove 30 minutes, paid tolls and dr visit fees just to get this form filled not to mention I'm missing work. Got cleared by se call dental office informed them I was cleared and made sure I would be seen. Drove 30 minutes back and gave them the form clearing me as well as the paperwork from my previous visit just for them to say well we wont be able to see you because the Dentist believes you should wait a week after taking medication and come back. Now shouldn't that has been said before all this extra things I had to do? They could have given me the form on that Friday instead of waiting til Monday and the Dr could have said that before me driving there (dont live in that area). They spoke pleasantly but lack communication skills. This has been a very unpleasant experience and I doubt if I would return. Basically I wasted time, missed work and spent unnecessary money traveling back and forth. Now I have to waite on my 186.00 to be refunded. Here's the kicker 3 visit later I haven't gotten any work done and my benefits for 2018 were wasted. Just think after my initial visit I was bragging about this place. Tuh! Not anymore! Over priced liars with deceitful business practices. I asked twice if I was covered by my insurance and they said yes. First at the front desk and a second time in the chair going over everything but I was out of network and they never said anything. After half the work was preformed, they never called me to tell me my crowns came in. The dentist perform poor work on the root canals and I had to go to another specialist. There was debris/funk on their dental equipment in their operating rooms at two of the chair I sat in. It's like they don't clean their equipment before another person uses it. The manager Alexandria doesn't answer phone calls and will not return your call. Completely unprofessional and I would avoid like the plague, unless you like dealing with compassionless corporate robots with no integrity to correct their mistakes!!!
