I saw all the great reviews and decided to give this place a try. I made an appointment and never received an appointment confirmation. Then had to call back again to set a different appointment since I had missed the first one due to no appointment confirmation (I will take the blame for that). Then finally went for an appointment and the front desk people seemed like they didn't want to be there. I met with the dentist after my x-rays and spoke to her about wanting to get my wisdom teeth removed and straighten my teeth. Initially she hadn't brought up any of those things until I did. I had put those in my area of concerns in my intake forms. I told her I had been having pain in my gums around the area where my wisdom teeth erupted and she insisted it was not because of my wisdom teeth. The dentist also made it seem like if I got my wisdom teeth out I would lose sensation in my mouth and tongue and was a high risk procedure. Which I understand is a risk but that is not how she conveyed the message. Then when I reiterated that I wanted them removed she gave me a referral to an orthodontist for only two teeth and stated that I could go to them have surgery and then come back and get surgery for the other 2 teeth with her. Why would she want me to go through 2 separate procedures? Felt like it was to fill her pockets. She also insisted I get grafts that insurance didn't cover as a part of the wisdoms teeth removal. She made it seem that if I didn't have those grafts my sinus cavity would be at risk. The place I ended up going to removed all my teeth without those grafts with no issues. I was also supposed to have follow up appointments as I needed some cavities filled. I was told by the front desk that I would be getting a call to set that appointment. It's been months and never got a call. Overall this place is terrible. The only good thing was the kind dental hygienist. Don't waste your time or money by going here. read more

I've been coming here since 2014 Dr. Tung Thang Huynh was the owner and as much as i disliked going to the dentist he was great, once Dr. George took over i continued giving my services and since I'm in the Optometry field for 10+ years Ive always referred my patients here Ive even referred friends and brought my family here. I had an incident with Dr George a few years back it was more of a miscommunication which I just didn't feel comfortable anymore but it happens, and then this year i had a molar that i had some pain, at the time i was seen by Dr Danny i asked him to remove it but he told me to keep it as it was fixable so it gave me that hope and this was in March he did his work on it put a temp crown on it the pain was worse than when i came in so he ended up doing a root canal and I continued to have pain he ended putting a permanent crown and I continued to have pain after multiple follow ups. Ive seen maybe 4 doctors now 3 in their office and they referred me to a specialist who said the crown needed to be adjusted here we are almost in November the last doctor finally fixed some of it I'm still having some pain, but I'm so tired of going at this point. I've lost all hope with this office my husband also had work done with Dr Danny and he also didn't end up well but with everything going on with me he was unable to do follow ups so they told him he would have to pay to get seen and get that issue taken care of. I will no longer recommend no one to come here the only good thing about this place is the kindness of the girls Jess and the lady who checks you out always so sweet. The dental assistant is way too rough when doing the xrays felt like i was being stabbed in the mouth. I'm also still fighting with my insurance to get some of my money back since I'm still in pain and since i had to go to a specialist it's basically a treatment that wasn't completely done. read more

Okay, so I come to do my annual cleaning and by the way they just changed the management and so the dentist spent less than 10 minutes on me which is never happened to any other dentist I been before. She didn't clean me at all instead let the dental assistant do the rest which piss me off. So when I checked out I asked how much they told me $248 WTF I told them I never paid this much for the basic cleaning and they kept telling me because they do exams, X-ray. I believe it offered free exams everywhere. So I don't think these people will last long if they keep ripping off customers like this. Do not waste your money coming here . read more

Awesome dentist! I love dr. George and her staff! I appreciate the viewing of my X-ray photos and the explanation of my dental photos. I have a missing tooth and we talked about the potential Issues that May arrise. She used a tree fall and tree root example that was pretty impressive. Took my 8yr old for her 1st visit ! Yes 1st! We got most Nicest service from Girls at Front desk. Easy check in and they Hygenist had a gentle and caring touch with my Sweetheart that was kinda nervous. Dr. TUNG Huynh was amazing, kind and gentle! Made both I and my daughter feel comfortable. She had only 1 Cavity. Got it filled and molars sealed. She also needed to have a baby tooth extracted because It was still on even thou Adult tooth was coming. My daughter got nervous and cried but he quuckly helped to calm and allowed me (mom) to sit beside her and hold her hand. She got numbing Gel 1st then shot which She later said she Never even Felt!! I have had a very good experience with this Dental office. I have a regular family dentist but he does not perform the more complicated problems or more extensive situations that tend to occur with adult teeth. Dr. George and her staff are awesome! I have EXTREME dental office anxiety to the point where I look like I am a mental case! Where I dig my nails into my skin even during cleanings‍I LITERALLY annoy myself! So I KNOW I annoy others. But they are so kind and act as if my mental ridiculous-ness is normal. I had a problem that several dentists couldn't seem to figure out. This went on for a year. I finally came to Olive Dental and Dr. George listened and discovered the problem through her own x-rays. She figured it out. They performed a very difficult cavity extraction and filling and said I may need a total root canal. Which they were honest and prepared me for the worst case as well as prepared me with the referral and explained the entire process. Once Dr. George got in there she determined I would NOT need the worst case which was a root canal. She saved my tooth!and was honest and didn't filter me to someone else unnecessarily which saved me tons of money. I love her assistant Tabitha. She comes off a little gruff but she is really just very no nonsense about what she does and warms up as times goes on. She's actually very sweet and efficient. The whole office works together and they will work with you on payment plans. And they don't act like they are doing you a favor so you don't feel like crap if you can't afford the total all at once like some offices. The office is CLEAN and the dental rooms are CLEAN! I will continue to go to Dr. George! My son also had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled here as well when he was 19. And had no complications. Dr. George has the greatest bedside manners of any dentist I have dealt with in the Houston metro area Her caring demeanor, and Ivy League education convinced me to put my trust in her team. She even goes to the extend of calling you after treatment personally to check up on you. That was true validation of awesome service and attention. Great experience I had with this office yesterday, I went in roughly a week before to have a consultation on my wisdom teeth. Decided to schedule an extraction and was probably one of, if not the best experience I've had with a dentist office. On top of a painless experience getting 3 wisdom teeth extracted in one day, it was care free as well. Very prompt with timing and gave me all the info I needed not only to get the procedure done but after having it done to make sure that I heal up properly. I'm not a fan of dentist or doctors offices but they made my experience as easy and pain free as can be. Olive Dental is very professional and caring! Yesterday was my kids' second visit with them and overall they were comfortable and didn't fear the dental experience. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and great with my three under 6 years old kids. As you walk into the office, everything is welcoming and clean. We were immediately greeted as soon as we entered and promptly seen at the time that our appointment was set for. I was encouraged to be in the back with my kids and was explained every step as it was happening. My son was a little nervous during the cleaning and the doctor along with his assistant were patient with him and took small pauses to reassure him there was no need for fear as it was all apart of the teeth cleaning. The doctor took his time with each kid; thus, I did not feel rushed or like just another paycheck, but rather, an individual.
