(4/5) Minus5 Ice Experience is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different in Las Vegas. I almost consider it a hidden gem or a speakeasy-style experience. Everything inside is made of ice--even the tables and the cups you drink from--which makes for a fun and unique atmosphere. We paid $49 per person, which included admission, two drinks, a jacket, and gloves. They also offer other package options depending on how many drinks you want. At roughly $24 per drink, it's on the expensive side because my first drink wasn't full in the cup (see photo) and was weak....but you're really paying for the overall experience rather than just the cocktails. The drinks were decent--not bad, but nothing I'd specifically come back for. The real highlight is stepping into the frozen bar, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the vibe was great, and everything was well organized. If you're in Vegas and want a fun break from the casinos and the heat, Minus5 is worth visiting at least once. Just go in knowing you're paying for the experience more than the drinks.
My wife and I have a great experience at minus5. All of the employees were helpful and friendly, and the drinks were actually pretty good. I did have one experience of my ice "glass" coming apart at the bottom, causing my old fashioned to dump all over my leg. But the bartender took care of it and fixed me up another one. My only complaint would be the price to get in. It's not that it's too high (I'd pay more to escape the Vegas heat on certain days), but I do feel a drink of choice should be included in the price. Just my two cents. Overall, it was a "cool" experience. Not sure we'd do it again, but it's certainly worth experiencing at least once. Especially on a particularly hot day.

I've seen places like this before never did. I think I would ever get to experience it. One of the coolest things ever literally. Walking in we upgraded to the fancy jacket so that it looked cooler for pictures and you get to keep the hat and the gloves in the ice cup it's gonna melt on you as soon as you walk outside, but that's you know neither here or there. It's pretty cool. We ordered margaritas and had a drink and it was good. It was fun but you can't stay in there too long or you get super cold... So it was fun for the 10 minutes that we were in there got some great photos and they even give you a couple of photos when you upgrade. All in all it was a great experience.
The IceBar was a great time! Super fun, different, and entertaining. It's called the ice Bar so of course it was freezing; however, if you dress warm and wear the provided coat they have for you, you'll be perfectly fine, unless you have a real issue with cold weather. If that's the case, you may want to sit this one out. There were a couple of free cocktail drinks included with the purchase of your ticket, but if you want something top shelf, you're looking at an additional charge. The service was great and friendly; it was overall a fun and exciting time. Check it out!

Now let me tell y'all, this place is cool -- and I don't just mean hip, I mean downright chilly! We showed up dressed for a nice fall day in Vegas and got greeted with a parka and some gloves like we were fixin' to trek across the Arctic. Once suited up, we stepped into what felt like the North Pole smack dab in the middle of the desert. Finding the place felt a bit like playin' explorer -- we navigated the streets of Vegas like Christopher Columbus, lookin' for a frozen oasis. And wouldn't you know it, we finally found it! Inside, the bartender welcomed us with a drink served in a glass carved straight from a block of ice. Mine was filled with some good ole Coca-Cola -- I'm pretty sure Bear Bryant himself would've approved. Only thing missin' was a bag of Frito Lays... though in here, I reckon they'd be called ice chips. The whole spot is as unique as it gets -- ice chairs, ice walls, ice everything. It's colder than a well digger's handshake, so don't expect to hang out too long unless you're part penguin. We managed about 30 minutes before our southern blood started hollerin' for a heater. The staff was friendly as could be, and they'll even make you feel young again when they ask to check your ID -- yes sir, even the AARP members get carded here! If you're wanderin' the Strip and need a break from that desert heat, stop by minus5 ICEBAR. It's the coolest experience in Vegas -- literally.
Minus5 Ice Bar was a cool experience! We booked the 8pm-10pm time and everything was made out of ice. There was modern music playing and it was definitely chilly so I recommend wearing pants. They only provided you with a parka and gloves which can get damp easily if you like nursing your drink like me. We got the "coolest experience" which included two drinks. I have never had an old fashioned before nor did I enjoy bourbon but I was curious to see a sweet bourbon on the menu and asked the bartender about it. She said I probably would not like it but kindly offered a sample for me to try and she was right I did not enjoy it. She offered to sweeten it with simple syrup but that still did not work for me so I opted for the frozen berries and the cool espresso drink which were both delicious. We took some fun photos with the ice decor and there was also a photographer who snapped pictures you could purchase. The only downside was that you do not get to see the photos until after you leave the bar and return your parka but we ended up buying four that looked amazing. The photographer even noticed my gloves were soaking wet after one of the photos and brought me a fresh pair which I thought was very attentive and sweet. Overall the staff was welcoming and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would definitely return and bring an even bigger group next time since it would be such a fun and unique spot to enjoy together.

An employee came and took photos with her camera and we purchased a digital copy for one for $8. The bartender was also super nice and the drinks were delicious and refreshingly cool in the ice cups. Frosted Berries was my favorite. We spent about 30ish minutes inside and then left since it's a freezer in there!
It's a gimic thing, but we had to try it. I got a Groupon for two, and then we purchased drinks inside. We only stayed for approximately 30 minutes. Even though we had gloves, our hands were freezing as we kept having to remove the gloves to take pictures. LOL! The drinks are sugary and priced around $14 per drink.
Along our walk in the resort we saw they had an Ice Bar and decided to head over there. We paid our entrance fee and they suited us up in thick coats and gloves and went in. Such a unique bar and 100% recommend. So fun!

I took my husband for his birthday as a surprise . Even though he's a cold person I run BOILING so I figured we cool off in here ! It was our first time and it was SO COOL !! I could have stayed there for some time . Our front desk was so quick to help and guide us . Everything is made out of ice. The bar was made out of ice , the tables out of ice. It is really true.! I sat down to have to cocktail and it was so delicious and refreshing. I recommend this experience. Great music, great vibes so many things to look at while sitting . Such a chill experience, literally! The Ice Bar was a really fun way to beat the Vegas heat. The drinks were great, and getting to drink them out of an actual ice cup made it even more fun. Just be careful with them because they can definitely break! One tip: DO NOT wear sandals if you can avoid it. My feet were absolutely numb by the end of it. Also, the bathroom is outside across the promenade "street," so I'd recommend going before you go inside. You can leave and come back in if you need to, though. Overall, it was a fun experience and definitely something different to do in Vegas! read more

My family and I had a great time visiting this ice bar, even though we didn't drink alcohol. The price per person is reasonable at $29.95. What made me uncomfortable was the tip that guests feel pressured to give after paying just to enter. After paying the $26.00 entry fee per person, the attendant showed me the screen to complete the transaction, and I immediately saw the options for tips of 18%, 20%, and 22%. Don't get me wrong, I am a big tipper and love to tip for good to great service, but in this case, all I did was ask for three adult tickets, and I was being asked to tip at least $18.00. I paid the tip without complaint, as the young lady who helped me was not responsible for the business policy and simply greeted me with "hi and welcome." You're provided with a heavy parka and gloves before entering the ice bar area. Once inside, it's an amazing experience. The temperature is kept at a freezing -5 degrees, so you WILL feel the cold on your face as you step in. There are many ice sculptures throughout, as well as ice chairs and benches covered with fake fur, a full bar (including a tip jar) for those who want a drink, high-energy music blasting through the speakers, a free Pac Man game mounted on the frozen wall, and colorful, changing lights throughout the room. A cool place( literally) to see while in Vegas! We actually found a Groupon to use so the price was BOGO which was nice because it is a bit pricey to do. You go to the window and purchase tickets then you enter and they give you coats and gloves and send you into the cold! Really fun inside with tons of areas all decorated with different themes, all made of ice!! We wandered around inside, it's small but so many things to check out and then went to the bar and ordered a drink. Even the drinks are in a glass made of ice!!! I had been wanting to visit an Ice Bar, so I was thrilled to find one so close to me while in Vegas. We got entry tickets online, but upgraded to include drinks once we arrived. We were provided with gloves and jackets upon checkin. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. She even snapped a few pictures for us. We did the ICEBAR and booze cruise experiences for $59 per person. It included four alcoholic drinks, which you could either choose individually or sample as part of the captain's flight (four small drinks to taste). We opted for the flight and enjoyed it. They also offer $5 off for locals but they didn't apply it for us initially even after showing our IDs. We had to go through refund process after the experience which was a bit frustrating. The cruise experience was sitting on tables while the screens around you showed ocean scenes. However, they left the door open which took away from the experience as you would see the real outside. We asked them to close the door so we could better feel like we are on a cruise but they didn't accommodate our request. The icebar was freezing. Even with the provided coats and gloves, we couldn't stay there for long. If you don't get your drinks at the booze cruise, you can use your voucher in the icebar where drinks are served in ice cups. The icebar is a room with chairs, tables and different statues made of ice. It is definitely worth seeing it for once but overall it wasn't especially impressive. read more

We had a great experience here! One might say we had a cool time This concept is really fun. My fiancée had been wanting to come here for a while. She finally got her wish while we visited her in early January. Came here with a party of 4, staff quickly got us paid for and suited up with gloves and thick coats. Prices here are moderate. They include a two drinks if you want that package. Personally I don't drink so that wasn't a need. Went with the $25 pass and got a mocktail when I got inside. Upon walking in we all were amazed at the decor and how they are able to bring everything together. It's like a club/night bar inside. The bartender was serving up some good drinks. They even iced up lol. We took lots of pics and I even got to play DJ at the little faux turntables they have lol. Would definitely visit this again. This is literally a cool and fun concept. Upon walking in you can feel the freeze LOL. The drinks are served in a glass made of ice and to warm me up I had an Old Fashioned. Worth it with a half-price Groupon, but too costly otherwise for what it is. Yes, it's really that cold despite the heat outside this time of year (August). It's also quite small and a so a little underwhelming unless you really study the ice sculpture work. The inside staff is very friendly and the outside staff a little less so (but still fine). The most fun part was being served cocktails in glasses made of ice. read more

Came across the ice bar unexpectedly with my friends as we were on a bachelorette trip and were casually exploring the strip and other nearby areas. Minus 5 was the PERFECT escape from the heat. The staff was super accommodating, providing us with a helpful group rate discount and also upgrading our standard jackets to fur coats. If you're with a group I highly recommend doing the shot ski. Tons of fun. It's definitely chilly in there so you'll probably leave in less than an hour. We ordered standard tequila from the bar for our drinks but they had a decent amount of beverage options. read more

Albert was an amazing bartender! The watermelon Fresca was a 10/10 drink! Delicious! All the staff was very kind and fun. We had a great experience and will be back in Vegas in May. Which location do you recommend to visit if I have time to visit only one?
The LINQ property has Dreambox360 attached and is a beautiful bar. Great value and fun.
How much is it to rent a coat?
all ticket packages come with a parka so at least $24 at the lowest ticket tier
Do they have BEER, or just alcohol?
Inside the ICEBAR we specialize in Vodka-based cocktails but also offer a full bar and expert bartenders that will happily concoct your perfect drink! We also have a variety of non-alcoholic ‘Mock-tails’ available.
What is the average amount of time people stay in? I'm wanting to book the 5pm slot and then make a 7:00 reservation for a different tour and I'm wondering if I would be cutting the times to close.
I think half an hour is more than enough time.
I'm planning on coming here next weekend, but trying to decided which location is best. Do they all look pretty much the same and offer the same things?
The one in the mall is smaller. I would go to the one at the Linq. Pay extra for the fur coat because it looks better in photos! The drinks were actually really good.
Are they serving alcohol drinks?
Absolutely! Depending on the ticket you get, it will include a certain number of drinks and you can always purchase more. Definitely a cool experience.
How far in advanced should I buy tickets?
Recommend a minimum of 72 hours. But you can purchase as far in advance as you wish. Just check the events calendar to ensure there isn't a closure for the dates you are interested in.
