You're no longer in the waiting queue. Let's find another time that works for you. You can do a virtual visit, go to another clinic or try later today. Schedule an in-person or virtual care visit at ---- Just based on this experience, I will never come to a minute clinic again. I wasn't too upset. My 1st time here and they don't accept walkins and they will turn you away if you don't have an appointment. If they are booked for the day they will tell you go somewhere else and not help you out. I called my health insurance company to get seen my an urgent care that accepts my insurance and they told me I can only go to minute clinic and that they should take me in. Went in for my appointment and they were able to see me right away. There were some issues with my insurance which wasn't their fault, but they were very nice with assisting me anyway and pointing me in the right direction. If you plan on coming here using TRICARE just know that only the sponsor's family can be taken care of not the sponsor/service member (in regards to covid testing). In my situation, base couldn't provide covid tests at the time so I had to come here. This place isn't as bad as the other reviews say (at least from my experience). TRICARE will allow primary beneficiaries to get vaccinations here though if you choose to do it at the minute clinic. Hope this helps someone. read more

If could give 0 stars I would. I have never been to a minute clinic before. I checked in at 2:05pm for my 2:20pm appt. I waited in the waiting area as told to via text. I waited there for an hour and was the only person in the waiting area. There was a huge line for prescription pick ups. I walked around the store and in the back corner is the minute clinic, no signs on its locations. The women told me they called my name and maybe she could fit me in during walk-ins. I told her they needed a sign. She says she can't put up a sign that has to go through corporate. Horrible customer service. I will never go there ever again. I walked out. read more

Cherry DeoLaso, NP was so thorough in checking my symptoms as well as explaining to me what was going on with me and how I could prevent it in the future. She didn't rush the visit at all and I could tell she did care about trying to help me get better. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service and genuine care. This place is awful. I originally went here in December as my employer requires an annual TB test. I fully expected to pay for the placement (and receive reimbursement from my employer) but the "LVN" aka "Lovely" insisted my insurance covered the test. Long be hold in February I received a letter from my insurance denying the coverage as it was outside my network. No shit!! Who didn't see that coming? How does a "nurse" not understand basic insurance practices? I even said to her my insurance has never covered this service previously but she insisted it was covered. Now I am forced to track down CVS billing department as "lovely" informed me they can't help resolve billing issues in hopes I avoid being reported to collections over $39. Keeping in mind when the NP read my TB test she told me insurance rarely covers it!!! Now fast forward to this month and once again my employer requiring a bullshit booster vaccine. I make the appt online and I am asked which vaccine I would like. I choose Pfizer as I was initially vaccinated with Pfizer and had minimal side effects. I get to my appointment and I once again encounter LVN "Lovely" who tells me they only have moderna vaccine. Fine whatever I'm not going to find an alternative vaccine site as I need this completed by March 1st. So I get the moderna. I get home and my arm is sore, as to be expected, however, I was not prepared for the bloody mess "Lovely" left with me. I am attaching the picture of the bandaid filled with blood from a simple vaccine. This is my third shot in less than a year and I have never bled like this before. "Lovely" needs to look for a new profession. She has no bedside manner and apparently no ability to inject needles into someone along with zero knowledge with billing issues. I went to the minute cllinic in Carlsbad in hopes of finding some answers about a rash I had in my arm. I waited for less than a minute when a woman approached me asking how she could help. The minute clinic doctor that day was Karen Parody. I have nothing but good to say about this woman, as she made me feel like she truly cared about my wellbeing. I was extremely worked up about the persistent rash I had, however had no insurance at the time. Knowing this, Karen reassured me I will be okay and showed me an over the counter medication she recommends to help my situation. She gave me a hug and sent me on my way. I've never had any doctor make me feel so welcomed and actually cared about. I recommend the cvs minute clinic solely because of the experience and impact left by Karen. I have to THANK the person who thought of Minute Clinic's! I have used this Minute Clinic twice, once for myself then today for my son. It is 100% better then the nasty Urgent Care where you have to wait hours to be seen and then sit there with germ infested beings. Today we were seen by Rosie she is so caring and her ability to actually listen and take her time with a crying 2yr old who isn't feeling to good was phenomenal!!! We get there sign in on the computer then we were seen within seconds (this was the same even with my first visit). I would recommend if you have an ear ache, cold, flu or minor health problems and need to be seen fast to go here. Simply find the nearest location going to www.cvs.com and clicking on the Minute Clinic's icon they take most medical insurance and also have the list for you to check on their website to see if they take yours. Since its located inside the CVS store your in great luck because they have the pharmacy there for your prescriptions. I would even recommend my arch enemies here if I had to and I dislike them both! Be aware of this place. The nurse practitioner couldn't even read the test results . She talks too much and charge you for her talk. She supposedly only charges you $85 for the visit it says the screen outside till you get inside and she starts telling you what you could have based on your symptoms making you get tested for everything and on top of that she adds a little bit more to the bill . Never would have thought about coming here, but my sinus infection was getting worse. I came in today right when the nurse went to lunch so I put my name on the list, and luckily I was first! Wow. I just can't explain in words how convenient this was. I don't like going to the Dr unless I'm bleeding or broken, so to just get a quick visit with a prescription was a godsend. Met with Kathryn S and she was so patient and sweet. Didn't rush me out, chatted about the cruise I was going on, and had me on my way! She checked my ears eyes and mouth and I had my pills in 10 minutes! Said I would feel better in a few days, yessss! Would highly recommend if you need a quick visit. If you are longer on the list, you will have to wait an hour+, but if you have the time, I'd wait. They will bill my insurance which I'm assuming will be my copay. You can be seen also If you don't have insurance. So thankful, took a total of one hour of my day. So glad I came when I did because no one was in line, and after I was done there were about three! Get there early and you'll be seen sooner! Great fix if you're like me and hate going to the doctor for what seems like meaningless ailments. read more

Went here yesterday (Sunday) for an urgent care matter, with no appointment. Got seen in less than 1 minute and the provider (Jackie) was excellent. She was so caring and went way out of her way to help. Now I'm gonna ditch my regular doc for routine things. Be advised that they do routine things, like flu shots, colds, flu, ear aches, strep throat, wound care, etc. The cost for most visits is around $60. But on a Sunday, it was way worth it. read more

I needed to get sutures removed, and I did not feel comfortable returning to the doctor who applied them. Being new to the area, and it being a pandemic, I had no idea where to go so seeing suture removal being offered here was a pleasant surprise. The process was so easy, you just choose a time or your appointment and wait in your care for the medical provider to call you. Answer a few basic questions, out your mask on and head in. I had zero wait time and was greeted so warmly. Dr. Cherry Deolaso was who saw me and removed my sutures. The whole ordeal was painless in every sense of the word. She was perfect in every sense, great communicator, bedside, and wow beyond professional and what an expert touch. My only "gripe" is that I can't have her as my PCP! This is the best way to be seen quickly when a trip to the doctor is in order. I had a bladder infection and needed to be seen quickly. I found Minute Clinic online and decided to give it a try. Upon arrival I signed into the computer there and completed necessary paperwork online. She brought me into the private exam room which was very clean. Karen, the Nurse Practitioner who examined me was friendly, thorough in her examination and explanation of treatment. While we spoke she sent my prescription to the pharmacy in the store. It's a very efficient process. From the time I signed into the computer until the time I was in my car taking the first dosage of antibiotic- less than 30 minutes. Not very impressed with this place. Came in with flu symptoms and the NP treated me for a UTI but I had no symptoms of that. Been on the couch for 4 days with high fever and body aches. Could have had Tamiflu and might have felt better. She sent my urine in for culture and said she would follow up and never did. Went to this Minute Clinic for a burn to my hand. It was a little after 11 AM and I was the only person there. Had the pleasure of seeing Maurine. She was kind and thorough. She listened and showed compassion. If I could have her as my regular doctor all the time, I would. I was there a total of 20 minutes or so. I was lucky there was a place like this on a Sunday. My visit was $62. Much better than the "prices start at $90" at an Urgent Care or the "who knows what it'll cost" at an Emergency room. The price was important to me because I don't have insurance.
