It was busy when I arrived a little before 8am and found most seats were taken. I did find that there was an overlooked area near the check-in kiosks where there were extra seating, a beverage station, and tables and lounge chairs - and, it was also much cooler in temperature than the main area since it doesn't face the tarmac. I really enjoyed my brief stay here since my flight was boarding in an hour. I've found that the workers (cleaning ambassadors and restroom tenants) were very hardworking and greeted each guest. While the food was lacking, the service and bar and other amenities made up for the lounge time. It's definitely much more relaxing here than down where the common boarding area is located.

Fortunately, it wasn't a busy travel day, but I found it odd that there is only one small elevator that takes you upstairs to the main entrance of the lounge. The bottleneck just to get upstairs wasn't too bad when we walked up, but as soon as we got on and I turned around, there were like 10+ people waiting. Once we got in the lounge, gaining access was no issue... as usual, finding a seat can be. It's really all about timing with lounges, if you catch the wave coming in or out. We got 2 seats after looking around near the multi-TV displays, which allowed for me to watch the FIFA World Cup game. The lounge seating was comfortable, and the staff was really good with servicing the entire area. Food selections were good, along with desserts and the available fountain, coffee, teas, etc where accessable with ease via self-service which isn't always the case in most lounges (soft drinks via the bar). Despite the lines at the bar, service was fast, as I kept it simple with just margaritas for me and wine. Keep in mind, everyone is trying to get a drink, so it can be busy... Be friendly, interact with people, and they will pay it forward... At one point, I got in line only to realize they had made my drink and had it on the side for me... VIP treatment felt good. Definitely a great experience as it really helped to decompress and relax. We shut it down that night as we had a late flight, and when we got to the gate, I was looking around, and everyone seemed either annoyed or frustrated... Thankful for the needed break, but the elevator situation is the one major knock for accessing.

Had the opportunity to enter the Delta Sky Club in Concourse F at ATL for the first time, during a…read more3 hour layover. It was a okay. This Sky Club opened at the same time as the ATL international terminal (Concourse F) in 2012, with its iconic outdoor lounge (Sky Deck) following soon after in 2013. This one (along with the its sibling at JFK) was the first one in the world, paving the way for this design at numerous other Delta-serviced airports around the country. Thom Filicia (remember him from the original Queer Eye?) was the interior designer. My wife and I had just come off of a red-eye from LAX at Concourse A, and took advantage of a Priority Pass benefit to get free chair massages at a XSpa in that concourse. We then took the Plane Train to Concourse F, in preparation for our international flight to PLS (Turks and Caicos). Atlanta is the connecting hub for Delta's flights into the Caribbean so was at Concourse F this time last year (but chose to go to the Club lounge nearby). The year before, flew out of Concourse E (which also serves as international set of gates), so now understood why this was our first time at this lounge (after gathering this info from my previous Yelp contributions). The Delta app indicated that unlike the other lounges at the other concourses, this one at F was not busy and we were able to enter right away. It is located on the upper deck of the central area of the concourse...there are a lot of office spaces for lounges here, but a lot of them are not filled. Since we had gone to the Sky Club at LAX less than 24 hours before, this visit did not count towards our 15 per year cap. We stayed for about an hour, finding some out of the way chairs in the back on the first floor. There is an upstairs deck area as well with more seating. I didn't find the outdoor deck, though it being July in Atlanta, wouldn't have been surprised with it being closed. It was breakfast time and the buffet had the typical lackluster set of breakfast items, consistent with what we have experienced at the other Sky Clubs in Atlanta. The items seemed more 'old' than usual though, and completely skipped all of it. Was a bit surprised that with a lounge this size, there were only 2 toilet stalls in the men's bathroom. Since the upcoming flight was international, didn't know how long the boarding process would take, so left the lounge earlier than normal. The whole process ended up being pretty easy.

I have never had to wait to get in; the staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful. The food is a mixed bag; some visits are better than others, but they always keep the buffet well stocked. The bartenders are great, friendly, and funny. I feel like it's a bar and not an airline lounge. Even when busy, I can always find a place to sit, and I really appreciate a place to set up my laptop when I need to get work done or simply surf the internet. It's great to have a place to relax and get away from the craziness of the terminals!

This review is for the 2nd (smaller) Sky Club in Concourse A: near Gate A17 at Atlanta's Hartsfield…read more- Jackson International Airport. There are many reviews for the nearby Sky Club "Concourse A in center on 2nd level", and I'm sure some of those reviews are for this one. My wife and I stopped in for the first time at this location, and found it to be just fine. It's definitely on the smaller side of the modern Sky Clubs, but because it was less busy, it ended up being a better experience. This location is open 06:00 - 22:00 daily (half hour later opening and half hour earlier in closing than its Concourse A counterpart). We found a comfortable spot near the back in side by side pods. Because we had used a Sky Club at an earlier airport, this visit did not count against our 15 per year allotment. The complementary draft beers at the bar were the same Michelob Ultra and Lagunitas IPA. Grabbed a little food from the buffet, and bunched on carrots and celery with hummus while using the free wi-fi and charging ports. The area was on slightly different levels, forcing to use a ramp or stairs. We did see parts of the lounge closed off with ugly construction barriers. Researching, it looks like it's a part of a project 'beautifying' the two Concourse A lounges. Atlanta has by far the most number of Sky Clubs, and it sounds like its OG features don't compete well with the newer lounges at places like LAX, ORD, and SEA. So remodeling is occuring. It's good news that Delta is doubling down on their premium offerings, but probably means more restrictions and cost for admission in the future.

This is a smaller lounge and the Delta staffers were having passengers line up and wait for others to exit. It felt a bit similar to waiting for the bouncers at a club to let us in. It was not a long line and I was granted admission after about ten minutes. The smaller size and divided layout of this lounge makes it a little more challenging to locate a seat. You walk in on a lower level that is somewhat partitioned from an upper level to the back. The linear buffet lines and beverage service are on this lower level with a another beverage service and another service of desserts conveniently on the upper level in the back. The only restroom I saw was on the lower level, but there could be restrooms on the upper level I did not happen to see. The buffets featured the always reliable chicken salad sandwiches and salad found at all the Sky Clubs and a solid bet for anyone's tastes. The hot items featured harissa chicken and couscous, which was good, but could be improved with little expense. First, boost the harissa a bit more. The chefs should not be afraid people will not be able to handle it. Boost the harissa and raisins and people will love it. Add some broth to that couscous while you're at it. The harissa soup did not appeal to me, but the chicken fajita soup was more to the liking. I applaud the diversification of the cuisine. The desserts were quite good. The chocolate cake was surprisingly good and moist, but not too sweet and I intentionally restricted myself to one slice. I also restricted myself to one oatmeal raisin cookie and one white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. It's like that now folks... The large flatscreens with the flights is on the lower level, but I noticed the screens cut off many flights below the bottom of these vertically oriented screens. If your destination is beyond the alphabetized listing on a particular screen, it looks like you will not be able to find your flight. I waited for a screen change and it never happened or I didn't wait long enough. I looked up my flight on my phone. This is a nice lounge with varied seating, but it is smaller and the divided layout are not as favorable in my opinion. I rank this one below the lounges I have reviewed in Concourses B and D. 3.5 stars

They don't have their own wifi, but the free ATL network worked well enough for what I needed. They pour a small but solid lineup of beers and offer a wide range of spirits, with the bar naturally leaning toward ASW's own products. The kitchen turns out appetizers, salads and sandwiches, and they serve breakfast items until 10:30. Over the course of 90 minutes with a beer, I watched the staff stay on top of a steady flow of travelers.
