Finally made it inside to experience the AMEX Centurion Lounge at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. Fun fact is my firm did the interior design and it's amazing. The outdoor elements, variety of rooms, individual spaces and the two bars. There's beverage and food stations all throughout. The restrooms were also top tier for freshening up. Service was immaculate with clearing plates, replenishing food and serving drinks. I need to level up to come back or pay the $50 guest fee. I highly recommend you arrive for your flight early to at least stay an hour. read more

OK, so hear me out. The Centurion Lounge at the Atlanta airport is gorgeous. A really nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. The people there were working constantly to keep it super clean. The hot meal was quite nice, I especially liked the chicken with the mustard sauce. They have one of those cool coffee machines that can whip you up a latte in a minute flat. Also, the drinks from the bar are flowing! But I found the salad bar and the fruit offering to be very sparse. Plus, I wish I had taken a picture of how the fruit is stored. They have it in like a little bin that you open up, but the door won't stay open so it keeps hitting you in the hand as you're trying to scoop your fruit out. Almost impossible to do that and hold your plate at the same time. Fortunately, I had a woman help me. I would return to this location for sure, but I would like to see them offer a little bit more fresh food for people that don't necessarily want the big heavy hot meal. read more

The Centurion Lounge at ATL Airport is very nice. It's huge and has an exclusivity feeling to it. Plenty of seating options, from dining room vibes, multiple outdoor spaces, quiet areas, private rooms. The staff are super friendly and inviting. With quite a busy lounge I was impressed how clean it stays. There are people clearing tables constantly. There are quite a few little espresso cafe machines around the lounge so despite there being a lot of people I did not have to wait in line. I was lucky enough to experience the breakfast and the lunch buffets. The food was quality. Mostly the typical breakfast buffet style food. However there was a make your own avocado toast station that was a nice treat! read more

I've had the luxury of visiting this lounge twice, once on a Wednesday and once on a Saturday. I will say that my experience on the Wednesday was a lot better because it was less crowded and I did not have to wait to get inside. Also, the food that I had was absolutely amazing. They had some sort of stewed chicken dish with mashed potatoes. That chicken was so flavorful and moist. I did not need a knife to cut into that chicken. It was that tender! When I went on the Saturday though, I think they had reached Max capacity so I did have to sign in via the app and wait 20 minutes before they called me inside. It does get pretty packed with limited number of seats so you might have to be patient with finding a seat. Bathrooms are clean. Food and drinks are well stocked and the employees there are pretty quick with getting tables cleared and cleaned for new guests. Overall, a good solid choice to hang out while waiting for your flight! read more

A few weeks ago, I was traveling through ATL to visit a family member in Florida. I was able to stop on both legs of my trip at the Centurion Lounge. The team members at the front quickly got me checked in and gave me information on the layout of the lounge. I was able to get a nice mocktail and some delicious food! The lounge has an upscale ambiance and boasts an outdoor area with seating which is pretty much unheard of in an airport! Best lounge ATL. Food buffet is good, better than most airport food. Sometimes airport lounges recycle the same food over and over (looking at you, Delta). The Centurion lounge keeps it interesting. Friendly service (also a rarity at the airport) Pleasing decor with a few different rooms with differing feels. Love the centurion lounge. You do have to have an American Express platinum card/above or delta American Express card to come in. Very relaxing and food is good. Better than anything you will get at the airport. You get complimentary drinks/alcoholic beverages. It can get busy at times, so it can be a hit or miss. For me and the husband we have had no issues getting in and finding a seat. You can arrive three hours before flight takeoff and if flight is delayed you can stay longer. So much more relaxing than waiting at the terminal for your flight. read more

Ok - happy to have a friend tell me that AmEx Centurion Lounge opened at Atlanta airport. Located in E concourse gate 11 Great entrance - it does get crowded as does every lounge in AtL. But they have a waiting section with seats by the entrance. There's couches, high top tables, regular tables. Overall choices on where to sit - but if busy you gotta find open spot. WiFi access There's hot food bar area, coffee/drink area and lots of friendly staff to assist. read more

This lounge is extremely large and I'm told is the largest of all AMEX lounges occupying 26,000 square feet. Its interior is beautifully designed with plants, wall covering and ceiling fixtures, which, create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There is ample outdoor seating with comfortable cushioned chairs and coaches. Designated smoking and multipurpose rooms are located throughout the lounge offering guests privacy while keeping others away from cigarette smoke. The food selections were great, there were an array of both meat and vegetarian dishes. The staff did a fantastic job ensuring the tables were consistently cleaned and cleared of dishes allowing incoming guests to find seating immediately. Great lounge! read more

The only lounge in Atlanta that has truly stepped up its game. We travel quite a bit, and having lounge access makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Lines can get long at times, but most days they move quickly, really just depends on the time of day. The food has been consistently good every visit. I haven't had a single dish I didn't enjoy. The lounge itself is spacious, comfortable, and genuinely a nice place to spend time before a flight. I've actually stopped going to the other lounges, this one is simply the best. There will be tons of mixed reviews, but all my experiences have been great thus far. read more

It's really spacious, clean and the amenities are nice. Although they open at 6, the showers don't open until 630. They have a light continental breakfast that may vary with each visit. But, today it was DIY avocado toast (guac, boiled eggs, and cucumbers), coffee bar, oj and iced tea, pan au chocolat, croissants, fresh fruit, and hot oat meal. Hot breakfast doesn't start until 630 also. On Sunday's the bar at this lounge doesn't open until 11. Other lounges may vary. I got here a little after 5 and they opened a couple minutes late. But the line was very long after us. Of course there was an entitled family that skipped everyone. And the hostess did the absolute MOST at 605 it's too early for you to be yelling and giving some "lounge briefing". Like girl I've been to so many lounges and this was the first time we had to wait through a 5 minute long speech. We can read the signs girl. Overall this one was nice. read more

Airport lounge perks and credit card requirements are so worth it when that lounge is the American Express centurion lounge. At Hartsfield Jackson ATL airport, the Delta sky clubs fill up pretty quickly depending on the day/time of your travel; having the ability to go to a partner lounge at the centurion is clutch in these moments. Tucked away at terminal E just past gate E11 is the entry check in for the lounge. It features indoor/outdoor seating terraces, private rooms, a bourbon tasting bar and variety of other high class accommodations for a waiting space. The food is very good, servers provide excellent care and the space is just a nice break from the rush of the world's busiest airport. I most recently went during breakfast hours, with a nice buffet of traditional morning food items. Being in Georgia they offered grits, which I find to be a treat since I rarely encounter them outside of the south. I look forward to my next travel opportunity to stop by and visit. read more

Honestly, this is probably my favorite Centurion Lounge within the US. Even if I'm flying out of the D gates with Delta, I make the effort to go to the E gates, this is by E 11, knowing it's worth the time and effort. I love the massive space, 26,000 sq ft y'all, largest in the US. I like the different sections of seating, near the main dining area, there's a gorgeous central design inspired by an olive tree I believe, a dedicated whiskey bar (if you're into it), five phone booth rooms which comes in handy for my work meetings and there's even 3 shower suites with Loccitane products. Best of all, their food has been consistently delicious and have always had variety and flavor. I love their mini smoothies (blueberry esp!) but had the turmeric pineapple mango today. They always have plenty of protein offerings and they have fresh pastries. Never stale thankfully. Service is attentive with lots of staff circling around to help and clean the areas. I just observed that when refilling food, most have been doing it really loud and heavy as if they're unhappy with their jobs. The rest of the staff seem kind and helpful. Haven't been drinking alcohol as much now by choice but the bars seem to be always packed and I could see some very happy campers. Looking forward to enjoy the terrace area once it's warm again. Great job and thanks to the Centurion ATL lounge, one of the lounges where it does feel worth it being an AMEX Platinum card holder for years. Keep it up and love that southern hospitality! The ambiance is stunning! The cocktails are good. The food leaves much to be desired. Snack bar with dips and will get you through. I had a selection of chicken potatoes and salad from the food bar area. The chicken tasted like fish couldn't eat it. The potatoes were edible as well as the carrot ginger soup but the brownie and the rolls were hard and stale. Maybe this was an off night for the food selection? read more

I love this lounge - private pods, outdoor seating where you see the planes land, 2 bar areas, tons of seating, the food is always replenished - only negatives, there's usually always a wait so I join the waitlist from my Amex app, - also the line is never orderly - people jump in from the sides and there's no control over it. I was on line at 5:30am waiting for the lounge to open at 6 - the line was about 100 people deep read more

I could've sworn I had a review for this previously but it looks like they created a new page for this lounge since the last update. I was here last summer and it was already renovated so I'm not sure if anything new had been implemented. It's a really spacious lounge. There are more food options than most. Their bathrooms are roomy. They have designated areas for kids/family and smaller spaces you can take private calls on which is nice. The only downfall for me personally are the hours. It doesn't open until 6am which is not convenient because there are people here who have earlier flights so this should be considered. read more

There was nearly zero seating. Above all else, I asked about the gift upon entry and was told to check in on my way out only to be told on the way out (20 mins later) that they "ran out". I've been to almost every AMEX Centurion Lounge in the U.S., except Dallas-Forth Worth and of course the one city I despise (ATL), is the one that would have the BEST lounge thus far. I got in a few hours before my flight and despite it being relatively crowded, there was no wait and the staff ensured folks made space for others. There are two buffet stations, dessert stations, vegetarian station (such as hummus and veggies), a full bar, a wine station and a whiskey bar that also has seating for patrons. The lounge is extremely spacious, with an outside terrace on both sides. There are also quiet areas in the event you need a less noisy area to work or etc. The staff also go above and beyond to keep it clean at all times. They bus the tables frequently and are so pleasant to patrons. Again, by far the best lounge I've been in and since I only have one left in the states, I have to give to them. I wonder if it's so top notch because they are "competing" with so many of the Delta Sky Clubs here. Nonetheless, it's superb and the lounge at LGA could learn a thing or two from the operations team at this location. read more

My original flight was supposed to leave out of terminal B. I arrived in terminal E. Despite my gut instinct to book it to B (and the terrible sky club there) for safety, I decided to hang out in E. After that, Delta changed my gate five times in about 15 minutes (seriously), across three different terminals, eventually settling on terminal D. So glad I made the decision I made and so glad they changed my gate so many times! I was originally going to the terminal E sky club, but I don' wait in lines. So I landed on the Centurion lounge for the first time ever, and I was impressed! Loved the live tree growing in the courtyard and the indoor/outdoor space. Comfy seats on the terrace looking out over the tarmac. Some great tall, enveloping chairs that face out as well. Lots of individual seating areas and pods around tables. Banquettes too. Couches. A cool counter around the live tree. Beautiful art/sculptures hanging from the ceiling, which is super tall. Tons of light. Private/multi-purpose rooms for meetings and working. Bathrooms are decent. Staff are super nice. Didn't try the buffet, but they have several options, including vegetarian/veggies. I will not wait in line for the sky club ever again if there is a centurion lounge around! read more

For whatever reason, people seem to think Centurion Lounges aren't great anymore, they're always at capacity, there are waits and it's the worst thing ever. Here, exact opposite. Easy in. There were some breakfast sausages and eggs (amongst other nibbles). It was edible. I stayed there for 30 minutes, drank my juice, slammed a small coffee and ran away from Atlanta. Dare I say it? I like the new waitlist method? Much better than standing on a long line. The first time I encountered this system, my wait was approximately 10 minutess. Recently, as soon as I sat down to wait, I was notified i could enter. It's a large lounge with many different spaces. I've come here even when my gate is not at in the E Terminal. I appreciate that even when at capacity, the lounge does not feel super crowded. Staff are all very nice and helpful. read more

It's ok. Decent bar though the line at Sunday at 8pm was about 5 minutes. Why can't they just leave the alcohol out there and let everyone just have at it like they do in Taipai or Singapore? Food was a basic vegetables, chicken dish of some sort. It did the job. If anything, better lounging here than paying for a $37 sammich. They're a tad uptight about the front desk about when you could be allowed in. My flight was boarding in 2 hours and 45 minutes and lady there made me wait 40 minutes before entering because my plane left in 3 hours 30 minutes. So the 3 hour minimum rule is utter bullocks at the SFO Centurian unless you can teleport yourself to your plane seat in a split second. read more

So do we act sophisticated and snooty or just like it's awesome and have fun? We went with fun! Nice place to visit if you have access with a card and a couple of hours to pass. Food was really good, plentiful and visually appealing. We had Calypso--style red beans and rice, coconut curry chicken, braised cabbage and kale, fried plantains and some really good cornbread. There were also many other choices of salads, cheese and cold cuts and plenty of desserts. Didn't visit the bar, but it looked nice and well kept. Lots of seating available with some great views of the airport action, even on a foul-weather day. The crowd was typical- mostly normal people with a few entitled types mixed in for good measure. For us country folk though, it was a good time. We'll likely stop back through on another trip sometime. read more

Very comfortable space and maybe it helps that I came in around 7am for an early layover. The breakfast definitely beats the Delta Sky Club by a mile. Sure the Sky Club isn't as crowded but I think coming in the morning isn't too bad. They had multiple egg scrambles that I enjoyed and plenty of juice/smoothie options. Lots of outlets for charging and working too. The one star off is for the questionable cleanliness of the utensils though. I did notice that the cups holding the utensils didn't look very clean and had some food residue... so didn't try to think too hard on the cleanliness. read more

Absolutley LOVE this lounge! This is by far my favorite Centurion lounge, as it is very large and new. There is a beautfiul outdoor terace that you can actually watch planes taking off and landing! They have a large selection of food, as well as an area for tapas such as hummus, veggies, etc. They have a large bar and a clearly marked lane where you can go to just grab a drink and head back to your table. I will also say that the staff does a really great job keeping up with the volume. They were constantly coming around cleaning up plates, and even wiping down your tables. There is a large amount of different seating arrangements available and they do a great job of keeping all the food stocked! Very clean, modern, and amazing lounge location! read more

This is the first Centurion Lounge I've been to and it's a good one. Plenty of space and seating, not overcrowded. Breakfast was exactly what you would need before a flight. The terrace is very nice (although it was raining so I did not get to enjoy it). If you have access, it's definitely worth the stop in ATL. read more

This Centurion Lounge location was probably one of the better ones that I've been to. Lots of space and a plethora of tables to sit, relax and have some food and a drink while waiting on my flight... Every single one of the staff that I encountered were pleasant and were also very helpful. All of the food was fresh and surprisingly tasty. We visited the Amex Lounge in Atlanta on a Thursday around noon and it wasn't crowded at all, which was great. The space is very clean and well maintained. There's a great bar, a really nice food selection, and excellent service. It's definitely worth stopping in if you have access. This has become our go-to lounge compared to the Delta One Lounge in JFK, which truly blew my mind. Overall, a fantastic experience and a perfect place to relax before a flight. read more
