Well this was a different experience! Our DFW layover was from about 6am-845am. After our red-eye flight, I figured it would be worth checking out Minute Suites and getting in a quick nap. I used my Priority Pass membership to get us one hour inside the "Longhorn" room. We could have gotten an extra hour for $28, but we would have only been able to use about 30 minutes of it. That's too bad because it would have been nice to sleep a little longer! Basically, you get a little room (I'll say 8x8 feet) with a sofa, desk, and TV. With the trundle bed pulled out, there was barely room for our bags. But it's not meant to be huge. Even though I wasn't able to fully turn off the TV, it was dark and comfortable enough to lull us good night (or morning as it were). I do wish we had enough time for the extra hour of sleep. It would have been worth it. In any case, our short stay provided just the rest we needed. read more

Stinky, tinny room without any services. Super disappointed! Never use it again!! I've been in more than 10 lounges and they are all offer at least some water and coffee. I went to minute suites today, and after a half hour wait, I got assigned a room that was 84°F inside, with no way to decrease it. The suggestion I got was to use a pedestal fan in the room. This is not a comfortable temperature to rest, so I couldn't use the room. read more

Using the priority pass, I was able to stay for an hour. The minute suite was small but had all the good amenities. It is great to use for relaxing and sleeping when there is a long layover. This place was a life saver for us on Christmas Eve traveling with an infant. We had a four and a half hour layover but were able to take a two hour nap and break from the busy airport noise and lights. It's reasonably priced, clean and the attendant, Hung, was very nice and welcoming. He even came and knocked quietly on our door to make sure we didn't miss our flight. We were desperate for a shower, and somewhere to spread out during a seven hour layover, after a long international flight. I learned that the Minute Suites in Terminal A does not have the shower. That was too bad because they were offering $20 off of two hours when we checked. It was nice for our needs. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got clean and rested and left happy. It was a little on the pricey end since we are not Priority Pass members, but that's airport pricing. read more

This was an unexpected stay. On that note I can say this place is a 4 1/2 stars. Had an incident regarding flight connection at DFW and Minute Suites as I mentioned earlier was an unexpected stay. I am OCD about cleanliness. I must say that this place was clean and comfortable. The staff was so pleasant a professional. I would have given it 5 stars but the showers and restrooms are separate from your room. Restrooms and showers still close and accessible. Pull out daybed was a relief to sleep on. After attempting to book online and their system was down I was sent on a wild goose chase because they couldn't actually have a system that works or bother to call each other. After spending 40 min running between locations I am told oops we don't have anything. I would have been fine if at the beginning of my request that is what they had said. This is a great place to take nap if you have a layover. We had a red eye flight that landed at 5am and our next flight wasn't until 10:30am, so we spent 4 hours napping here. It was clean and I slept well, but I do have a couple complaints: - The bed for the second person, if there is one, is very short. And if it is being utilized you can't ope the door. If you are 2 full sized adults and you want to be really comfortable, I'd get a second room. - It was pricy for 4 hours. Still kind of worth it but it was more than I wanted to pay. This place was not that bad at all. I had a couple of hours to spare before my flight and I was feeling a bit sleeping from my hangover. I had to leave that terrible temporary lounge they had, so I decided to try this place. As a Priority Pass member I can only get to stay for an hour. I took a nice siesta during that time and it was great. I would have given 5 stars if I was able to stay at least 2 hours and the snacks were free. They are just snack. We should not have to pay for it as Priority Pass members. Anyway, you do have privacy and a place to lie down or sleep, and if you bring your girlfriend a nice place to sneak a little quickie in before you board the plane. But please don't leave the condoms on the ground. That would be rude. Haha read more

What a great addition to the Priority Pass offerings. I had never tried a Minute Suites before and was eager to find a quiet place to relax and be alone. The receptionist was really nice and friendly. The room was small but more than adequate with a sofa, pillows, blanket, a desk and a cable tv and a white noise sound machine which makes it very quiet and easy to relax. It is nice to have a private area where you can relax and take off your shoes and spread out for an hour. read more

I just can't say enough good things about the customer service there. My son was stuck in DFW, on stand-by for a midnight flight. Because he was a minor traveling alone, he couldn't check in any nearby hotel by himself. But Jay from Minute Suites was so kind to allow me make an overnight reservation for him. It has an automatic shade over the window, a sofa with pillows and blankets to lay down, a desk to work, TV, WiFi, art on the walls, all lights on a dimmer, and snacks and drinks available for purchase and mini bar. I've been traveling for work for most of my life and have accumulated over 3 million miles in the air. I enjoy traveling and I enjoy the experience of various airline clubs. As an American I want to personally apologize for the way we have reduced what used to be a very upscale and nice experience to a model of "how many cuts can we make to our services while keeping our passengers happy" attitude. For example, on international flights as well as domestic flights outside of the USA they still serve meals to all classes of services and its included in the airfare. However, the biggest difference from the USA to International airlines is their lounges. The Qantas, Virgin, and One World lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane Australia are spectacular!! Made to order meals and so many options to choose from. Why am I saying this on the Minute Suites comment thread? Whether you travel like me or you take one flight a decade please understand what a service offers and why it's offered before you decide to spend money and commit to being a customer. I have been using Minute suites for a long time and one of the first ones was at DFW. It provides a GREAT service for that particular situation. It's basically a "getaway staycation" from the loud Covid filled airport and because of that simple reason I will always be a customer of theirs. People complain about the simplest things and I just wanna say to those people "please go to the airport lounge if having the restroom a 15 second walk from you instead of the 45 second walk you have to take from Minute Suites!" (Actually, at DFW the restroom by the MS in concourse D is closer than the public restrooms). So you don't like the fact that the small sofa/bed is vinyl. I personally would rather sit/lay down on a surface I know has been properly cleaned and more importantly CAN be properly cleaned. I doubt a cloth material could be cleaned for each guest and nowadays that just makes me cringe. Is it uncomfortable? Yes. Is it worth the inconvenience to have a safely cleaned surface to sit/lay down on?? Do I even need to answer that one?!?! Did someone really complain about the tv channel being on a "fake news" channel when they entered the room? Oh no!!! I am so sorry. It must be exhausting to have to pick up that very heavy remote and then to have to push the channel button up or down is just uncalled for and they should offer a discount for making customers do that! Seriously people, if you spend money at MS please look at the rooms and Check out everything BEFORE you decide to make that move. MS isn't for everyone. For travelers like me who live in airports it's an AMAZING service and a brilliant idea so I for one am VERY grateful this company exists. Are there times when things don't go as planned and are there times when I wish I wouldn't have stayed at MS (like when the construction was going on).....of course. But we can ALL find things to bitch and moan about on all areas of life. From a fast food line being too slow to calling customer service for PayPal and not being able to understand a single word the lady in Shiv Mandir, India is saying to me about an issue we ALL can find something to complain about. But to bitch and moan about a small issue in a MS that usually offers an amazing service in an airport seems a little "PRIMA-DONNA'ish" to me. That's just my opinion. It's ok if you disagree. This place is excellent, you get a free hour with priority pass I use that time to get a little break from the airport however you can use that time to watch a movie or tv. They also offer showers for a fee which is handy when you come in from a intl flight. Every time I ask they always have space available and are so kind. read more

Amazing! A few months ago, I had the same 4-hour layover (2-6am) in Dallas. I didn't know about this, and it was an awful 4 hours in an empty airport. Using Minute Suites was a god send. I WILL DEFINITELY do this again. As a shoestring backpacker, I probably wouldn't pay the price to stay at a place like this. In my other life where I sometimes have to take red eye flights for work, the cost is well worth it. I don't have a day or two to recover; I need to be able to bounce back quickly. At $130 for the night, the price is comparable with a hotel - but I didn't need to leave the airport. Other Pros: - The service. Didn't catch the attendant's name, but he deserves a shout out. Quick check-in, friendly but not too chatty, and chased after me when I forgot my coat in the room. Really made the experience a positive one, in contrast with the poor service on American. - Outlets! This is one of the most difficult parts of a red-eye after a full-day of work. There were at least 4 outlets, easily accessible. - Sleep. Have you ever imagined a sleep oasis inside of an airport? It's here. Super quiet & yes, cozy. Slept like a baby. - Immaculate bathroom. It's shared like at some hostels, but in terms of cleanliness, size, and decor, it surpassed most hotel bathrooms. I had a great time brushing my teeth there. - Desk. The desk set-up was cool. There was a big screen that toggles between a computer and a TV. Cons: - Vinyl couch was weird material. But at 3am, NBD. The vinyl gave me the impression that it's easier to keep clean. - Couch was small, and I couldn't figure out how to open the bed. Fine for me because I'm small, and I'm sure the attendant would have helped open the day bed if I had asked. read more

I was able to sleep for a few hours by checking in here and was woken up by a knock at the time requested. The hot shower felt great too! This was the best part of an awful flight experience! My man and I took a 2 hour nap and honestly I could've stayed longer! The rooms were clean and comfortable, they provided us with blankets, bottled water, and instructions on how to use the TV. The staff was very sweet and attentive which was nice because I had dealt with awful American Airlines employees all morning! Would definitely recommend people utilize this! First off I would like to start off with the negatives or misconceptions. This is not a hotel room. If you need to spend an overnight you should get a hotel. If you don't have priority pass it is expensive and not worth it in my opinion. Bathroom is in public part of terminal. Also I do believe that a bottle of water or two should be a standard free option. However, I find if you have two hours which would cost you $31 after taxes with priority pass it is well worth it. If you had a layover of over two hours and went to eat or say had two beers that is how much this would cost you. I have lounge access to at least four lounges at DFW but even lounge access doesn't grant you the ability to take your shoes off and lay down. Even if you don't take a nap there is Netflix, Amazon Prime and Direct TV available which can allow you to relax if not nap. I always call myself a travel snob and this just adds to my snobbery because now i make reservations if I know I have at least a two hour layover read more
