The staff ride, 9pm don't go they close all concession so you have to sneak in anything you want cause they won't be serving you or caring. Literally couldn't even get a fork. They had 6 more showings with packed houses. Also don't let them upsell you cause of a "refill" they close the drinks at 9:15. It's just one of the worst AMC you can go to they are more rushing to close to literally sit and do nothing. So if your stuck having to go to this half ran and cared for theater or want a true movie experience your better just paying for a 65 minute inch tv and hiring your own theater staff for a fun feeling with a positive experience. Never once have I been somewhere where no one cares and literally make food for themselves in front of you. You're better off watching a movie on your phone in the parking lot of a sonci! Only gave a star cause negative aren't allowed. This theater is why movie theaters are failing cause movies have become super pricy and this place in a particular is trying to kill the movie theater experience and successfully doing it. After our great dinner, we went to the AMC Theater that's literally in walking distance from the YardHouse. We did everything on the kiosk. We did yell, for help because we had a few questions. I couldn't utilize my rewards because my birthday had already passed. However we did get a $5 reward for our next visit. I wasn't aware that we could've gotten a small popcorn, and slushy, and candy bar while purchasing The new Marvel Movie tickets either. Certain incentives should pop up on the Kiosks screens especially when folk are purchasing $55 tickets for two people, and a $15 upgrade for the Premiere perks. Smdh read more

Been over four years and not only have I not returned to this location, I have discontinued my AMC Stubs subscription, and no longer frequent any AMC theater. I'm a very happy Cinemark customer and platinum member of their subscription program (second year as platinum). I find that Cinemark theaters are cleaner, the staff and management much more professional, and the subscription program much, much better. As a person who sees about two movies a month, AMC has lost my revenue and good will. read more

I live about five minutes from this theater. It's right next to yard house, lazy dog, and pretty much all of Addison's belt line restaurants. It's convenient for a date night. I enjoy this theater because they have recliners in every movie showing and it's always clean and well taken care of. They have discounts on Tuesdays and lots of food options. Plus they have a bar. We went to see Stillwater yesterday and the movie was good, theater was clean, and it was not crowded. This is my favorite AMC in Dallas. All the others lack recliners, or food choices. Plus the convenience of this theater is a plus. Literally everything you want is around it. Go to this AMC if you can. You won't regret it. read more

This theater is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, many within walking distance, and parking is plentiful. It's an ideal setup for lunch or dinner and a movie which is why it makes sense that it's not a dine in theater. I would strongly urge you to skip what concessions they do offer however, as they are akin to theme park fare in terms of quality and price. You'd be wise to spend your dollars elsewhere as there are no bargains to be had anywhere in this theater. Case in point, I ordered 2 frozen margaritas from the bar that were quite possibly the worst ones I have ever had in my life. The first issue was that the bartender poured maybe, MAYBE 3/4 of a shot into each 12 oz cup. I assumed there was already tequila added to the frozen margarita machine so I mistakenly thought that he was generously giving me a little extra. I figured he wanted me to reciprocate his generosity in tip form. When I got to my seat my elation quickly turned to disgust upon my first sip, realizing that was NOT the case! To make matters worse, the margarita mix itself was a watered down, slightly sour, but mostly tasteless sludge. And, at that point I couldn't return the drinks without running the risk of missing some of the movie. My husband got a whiskey and coke and they were stingy on the pour with his as well. I want to give credit where credit is due, so I will say that they have done a far better job of cleaning than what I have come to accept as standard for movie theaters (pre-pandemic of course). The place would have been immaculate had it not been for some random greasy spots here and there on the glass partition in front of us. Even the bathrooms were spic and span. Hopefully the days of litter strewn aisles and seats, sticky surfaces, etc. are a thing of the past. read more

I missed the Renaissance concert and wanted to venture out to a movie theatre outside of the area where I live, I chose this location and was in love! I received a Beyoncé" poster upon picking up my tickets and they had renaissance popcorn buckets and cups! The movie theatre reclining chairs were top tier! They didn't appear to have any issues and I love that there were cute little buttons to press to recline the chair. The theatre speakers are the best! I felt like I was seeing the concert live!!!! When the movie was over I was able to take pics because they had a beautiful balloon display and Renaissance back drop! I'll be back to visit this location. It's perfect and there's so many things to do in this shopping center! read more

The Dolby Cinema at this location used to be *the* best theater in the Metroplex. It has everything you are looking for when you go to the movies: premium large format display, top of the line projection equipment, amazing sound, comfortable seating, clean facilities, etc. In fact, I used to happily drive from McKinney to Addison to watch films on this screen specifically. However, that all changed nearly a year ago when my wife and I went to go see Top Gun: Maverick. The movie was great, but I found myself being constantly distracted by visible defects on the screen itself. At first I thought there were water spots on the projector lens. However, when I brought the issue up with management after the film ended I was told that what appeared to be giant dimples scattered across the viewing area were, in fact, places where the screen had sagged and was now making contact with the supporting structure behind it. Unfortunately, these defects appear in multiple places - including, but not limited to, the center portion of the screen. As you can imagine, this really takes you out of the immersive experience you are looking for (and which Dolby promises) when you go to the movies. I took my son to go see the Super Mario Bros. movie this past weekend (April 2023), hoping the screen had been fixed at some point during the intervening months, only to find out that the defects were still annoyingly present. I was really disappointed. If there were a way for Dolby to de-certify a theater, that's probably what should be done here, at least until the owners get around to addressing the screen issue. In the meantime, if you are a movie lover who is looking for a premium viewing experience, just know that you are not going to get it at this particular theater - not in its current state. If you are going to visit this location anytime soon, I would recommend going early so you can watch the pre-show reel and see what the screen looks like yourself - that way you have time to go and ask for a refund prior to the start of the film. read more

I asked for fresh popcorn and the employee refused stating the fact that it was late as the reason. She said the popcorn would go to waste. Supervisor named Donavan was extremely rude. My bf and I are A listers and we frequent here weekly. My bf ordered a new ID and only have a temporary one. Donavan said we could not get in unless we showed a physical ID. When I respectfully offered to show my ID since my name is on one of the tickets and shows PROOF of identity, he looked at me and said "Is your name ____(my bfs name)__???" Extremely shocked to be treated like this in a movie theatre by a supervisor. If the goal is to show physical identification my ID should work. The rudeness and condescending response from Donavan was uncalled for when I was just offering to help the situation. The seats are great and working and they have lots of food to pick from. They also have a bar too. Angel usually is the person who scans your ticket and he is so personable and super nice. This was our first time back after two years. When you walk in, it's all ticket kiosks to the right. The theaters were exceptionally clean for post-Covid requirements, bathrooms included. It all felt a bit nostalgic stepping back into the theater after so long!! But overall a pleasant experience. The food stations were simplified, nachos were fresh. I decided to treat myself to the ICEE machine, since they were offering six different flavors. The price points seem higher per ticket but nothing tops watching a movie at the theaters, vs. anywhere else. read more

This place has some of the most wholehearted staff members and I will say that today, 7/14/23, Donovan helped my husband and I understand and choose our feature pick while he changed out posters outside, working through his shift. His positive attitude as well as another employee we met on a prior visit, named Angel, are assets to AMC and are one of the main reasons we drive 40 minutes for a movie here, as opposed to the other options we have nearby. I've never had a problem with parking but I have had a problem with the grounds maintenance and some of the eateries being able to keep up with the times there is an influx of traffic. I came up here today to buy tickets for a movie and the website said they open at 11. The doors were locked and I waited about 15 mins and nothing so I decided to grab lunch and came back around 12:30. Then a man came out and said they open at 2:30. I let him know what the website said and of course he said I'm sorry but we open at 2:30. I came back at 2:30 and it was still locked. After 15 mins someone came out and told us (because by then other people were waiting too) that they open at 3. I asked if I could just buy tickets and she said I can buy them online. I told her I didn't want to but then online (I didn't want to pay the service fees for 13 tickets). I decided to text my girls night to a different theater because if the service is this bad already, why would I want more of it!? Ughhh Please hire some professional employees and maybe post some hours on the building and correct on the website so people don't waste valuable time. read more

Normally a Cinemark fan. Tried this AMC due to scheduling. Purchased tickets online for $20 (!) each plus convenience fee. Total of over 80 bucks total. Site failed to email and text me the receipt. Had no way to show proof of purchase or collect my tickets. No number posted to call. Emailed support who said they would get back to me within 5 days. Thanks. Of course they charged my credit card just fine. Arrived at theater to find the show cancelled due to no A/C. Yeah. It's Dallas. You have to maintain that stuff. I just put in two new units myself. You have to get that handle when you first notice, not when it totally collapses. You have my email and phone number so why no text before making the drive? Email alerts have been around quite a while. Still waiting on the refund. BTW Anyways, if you charge premium prices, then provide a premium product. We've been going to this particular AMC for years. After covid the movies did suffer but seems to be coming back. We went tonight for the Bad Boys movie. I'm giving this theater a 3 overall rating for the past years of patronage. The theaters aren't being cleaned between movies and this was the trend the last few times we've visited over the last couple months. The food is subpar and could easily be improved upon. The movie theaters seem to have an easy concept. The staff were friendly but didn't seem to be managed. The trash in the theater was overflowing out of the tops of overflowing onto the floor, the concession area where you get your catsup and napkins etc was trashed and the surface was sticky and gross. Our seats had crumbs in them and drink holders the previous patrons trash. What a disappointment. We really like the location of this theater but we decided we will venture out and try some other theaters in the vicinity. read more

This is my last visit to this piss poor ass disappointment of an AMC. I've literally NEVER had a good experience here aside from the films I watch here. I will now drive well out of my way (considering I live in the apartments directly behind the theater) to ANY OTHER THEATER showing the film I am interested in. I've encountered rude ass employees that didn't care to help me with ticketing issues, rude ass employees that messed up countless yet simple concession orders, rude ass employees that don't want to fulfill my express orders, and rude ass MANGERS ( yes managers. When I first moved in the area I want to say I dealt with a woman but the last couple times it's been a heavier set man), and today was the last straw with your rude ass employees. I don't feel welcome here. I don't feel like anyone gives a damn about their job here. It seems like EVERYONE I've EVER encountered has hated their job, life, day, WHATEVER. POOR MANAGEMENT-DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! I have only ever written one other yelp review before in my life, but my experience was just so bad that I just couldn't keep this to myself. I am an AMC A-List member and also got the membership for my parents too (and even got a few friends hooked on it as well.) After the experience we had tonight, I will be cancelling my membership as well as my families memberships and telling all of my friends to do the same. I personally made reservations for myself as well as my family members to see a movie tonight. We planned our day around it, took 25 minutes just to drive to the theatre, took 10 minutes to park, and got there just in time for the movie. HOWEVER, this is the ONE time in the last 5 months that I have had my membership (as well as going to this specific location at least once a week) that I forgot to bring my ID because I wasn't the one who drove and it slipped my mind. I completely understand that AMC corporate policy is to show your ID when you have an A-list membership. But today, my family and I got turned away literally at the door of the theatre because I didn't have my ID. I offered to show BOTH managers (DONOVAN CLIFTON and JASON OSBORNE) alternative methods of ID to prove who I was so that my family's night wouldn't be completely ruined and they refused to even consider it even after I explained that this was an honest mistake, that I'm a regular customer, and that it wouldn't happen again. Mind you, some AMC's (like at Northpark) don't even ask to LOOK at your ID, so I know they could have let us in and it wouldn't have been the end of the world for them. I begged and pleaded with them to let me prove my identity in a different way, because my family and I don't often get much free time to spend together so I didn't want our night to be completely ruined. I offered to show them the email confirmation I received from making our reservations, I offered to verify my home address, I offered to show them social media pages with my face and name on them, I'm even a Realtor and wanted to show them my name and ID on my website, AND I'm also a professor and wanted to show them my name and photo on the University Faculty webpage and they COMPLETELY REFUSED to even CONSIDER it! That's what was upsetting to me...that they didn't even try to help us, they were just completely unsympathetic to our situation. It felt like the managers were honestly just on a power trip (the older looking one with longer hair even smirked at me as if he was enjoying that we were upset) and have absolutely no sense on how to treat loyal and paying customers. I've worked many customer service jobs, so trust me, I get it. I'm not saying the customer is always right, but they could have at least TRIED to accommodate us and not ruin our night especially because it wasn't going to be costing them or hurting them any. Also, this location is not keen on giving A-List members the perks they deserve for what we are paying for. For example, my dad bought a medium size popcorn about 2 weeks ago and informed the guy at the front that he was an A-List member and wanted his upgraded popcorn for free, and the guy was arguing with my dad that the perk "didn't exist" and didn't want to give it to him until we showed him where it was written on the terms and conditions on the membership websites. Once he finally accepted it, he gave it to my dad but was SO rude to him about it. In sum...EXTREMELY poor management, HORRIBLE customer service, and HORRIFIC employee training. This is so unfortunate because the theatre is in convenient location and the recliner seats are clean and comfortable. Shame on you AMC, you'll find our business at Cinemark moving forward! Wife and I have come here a bunch of times and the reason we keep coming back is that it is clean and they have one of the comfiest reclining leather seats which are very spacious compared to other theaters. In addition, their 3D glasses are always clean,no scratches and come sealed in plastic bags, unlike other theaters where these 3D glasses look like they've been dragged through dirt roads and given to dogs to play with. This theater is smaller than other AMC locations, but normally has the latest movies and is surrounded by some cool restaurants that you can dine-in before or after your movies. The movie theater has a full bar where you can order drinks and snacks...although these can be pricy. The staff is friendly and their bathrooms are super clean. Purchase your tickets online and select your seats way before you get to the theater so that you don't have to line up or get bad seats. There is also a parking garage close by or you can valet in the nearby restaurants. read more

Go to opening night of Star Wars and they play Jumanji. Speaking to other patrons this theater is known to have severe problems playing the right movie at the right time in DOLBY VISION. Took them almost an hour to get the right movie playing and the sound doesnt work.. YOU HAVE ONE FREAKING JOB. I have personally been to 6 different premieres and they have either had a delay of an hour or even cancelled the showtime all together. The WHOLE management should be fired...simple. The crew is inept and they are an embarrassment to the company. No wonder they losing money. read more

Corporate needs to talk to their employees about customer service and satisfaction because they just lost loyal customers that pay monthly for an AMC pass. We went to the 10pm showing and they closed the concessions early and wouldn't even let us in when we there on time. I am an AMC member. Go to up to 3 movies a week. This is the only theater ever to not allow me in with a drivers license photo that is current I have on my phone. Very rude approach as well. Too many other places in Dallas and surrounding areas to go and spend my money on food and get much better kind and trusting service. Snacks and drinks are really easy to get. All the theaters are nice. The seats recline and they are so comfy! The theater is so clean and I enjoyed watching the movie.
