We desperately needed a medication after visiting emergency room on Friday and they had it in stock but the pharmacist was not allowing it to be filled due to the way prescription was filled by the emergency room doctor (something with e-signature) and we now have to wait till Tuesday to get another version of same medication that can be filled with the original prescription (??) but they didn't have that one in stock (of course). I order all my photo prints on the APP and they are ready within an hour! What compelled me to write this review was to recognize and commend a cashier/ sales associate named Christine. My face lights up when I walk in and she is behind the counter. Christine is an absolute delight! Friendly, welcoming, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and 100% on the ball. There was no line on the other side, yet I still waited. Eventually, a young woman approached and asked if I needed help. I told her I would like to speak with the pharmacist. When the pharmacist came over, her facial expression alone made me feel as though I had done something wrong. Her demeanor and lack of customer service were disappointing. I asked if she could recommend something for my 14-year-old who was experiencing flu-like symptoms, and all she said was "Tylenol." She did not ask a single follow-up question about his symptoms, nor did she direct me to the appropriate aisle. I'm glad I didn't rely on her advice because I went to another aisle myself and found something more appropriate for his symptoms. My point is this: when working with the public whether as a cashier or a pharmacist professionalism is essential. You chose this career, knowing it involves interacting with customers. Very affordable. Also on Christmas, decor is very affordable and they have a huge section of ornaments and decorations in Walmart. They got a Halloween section too with Walmart exclusive decor!
