I had been at an ER on 10 January for a nose bleed that was over 4 hours in duration. They performed a chemical cauterization. The PA who attended on the 15th, without even a cursory examination said nothing there, probably just the area scabbing up. Use a cotton ball soaked in Afrin if it starts bleeding again. The attached is what came out 2-days later when I blew my nose. Yes, that's a wad of gauze roughly 1.5" in length x .75" in diameter. So much for a thorough examination. Probably should have been concerned when I blew my nose in the waiting room, producing a few tissues covered in blood and asked for a SHARPS container to put the blood soaked tissue into it and all I got was blank looks. How does a building full of medical professionals NOT know what a SHARPS container is? Interesting that this has been posted for 14 days now and not a pip out of anyone from CityDoc. Maybe an attorney out there could provide some guidance...?

Then....I meet Nurse Adeline! Nurse Adeline explained every piece of equipment and shared the medicines he was being given. She helped shift my Brother up in bed, helped the patient outside his room, and shut the door to ER area C that wasn't closed.... all in about 3-5 minutes. She was friendly, helpful, and observant! I'm happy he is being cared for by her and the other staff I met this morning in his room! Keep doing a great job hiring great people!!

I will say that it was very hard to find a parking spot with all of the retail stores surrounding it, so be prepared for that. It would be nice if they had designated urgent care parking so patients didn't have to walk across a hot and crowded parking lot with a fever, but you can't have everything. Pros: - I received my results within an hour of leaving my appointment. Other locations take multiple hours or even days. - Customers shouldn't have any trouble parking in their spacious lot. - Their lobby enforces social distancing, which includes chairs spanning into their hallways. - I found their receptionists courteous, and they processed my co-pay quickly. Cons: - They had my correct health information on file, but they couldn't process it, initially. (The clinic should've rechecked before calling me twice.) - To better enforce social distancing, the clinic could've processed payment over the phone instead of in person, and they didn't use gloves when handling my ID or credit card. - I arrived at 11:30 am and didn't get my test until 12:15 pm. - After receiving the test, they closed the door, and I sat there for twenty minutes. When I contacted the staff they said there was a "computer glitch" and so I asked when I could expect it. Response was not assuring, even when I told them that I needed the prescription yesterday. Follow up is key in patient health, great that I am a pretty healthy person and my symptoms are not too drastic.
