When I reached out to the doctor, she told us to "just buy it over the counter because most insurances don't cover it." Insurance was never the issue!!! They told me they would look into it and get back to me, but I never heard anything. My blood work also showed some abnormalities, so I was referred to an endocrinologist. I was told to wait for them to call me to schedule an appointment. Weeks went by with no call, so I followed up.
