We parked at the front of the building and was redirected to walk around outside to the back. If someone who was dropped off was in serious pain, this would have been an uncomfortable walk.

When I was finally called in, all they did was take my blood pressure and weight -- no blood work, no physical exam, no discussion about how I've been doing on the medication. The doctor spent almost no time with me and did absolutely nothing beyond the basics. It's incredibly frustrating to spend that much time and money just to get a simple refill, with no real medical attention or care provided. The good - It was in our neighborhood…read more - It was empty. No patients. - They report that they're a pediatric urgent care. - They confirmed that the guardian that was present with infant was the parent. - They asked for the reason of the visit. The bad - Infant came in with a fever of 101.8 (rectal). No medication given prior to the visit. - Took over an hour to get seen by the provider. - Checked infant's temperature through forehead thermometer (97.9) - The Medical assistant (M.A.)/front desk asked the mother to swab the infant instead of taking the initiative. - The M.A. was on a personal call throughout the visit. - The scale to weigh the infant was broken and they did not ask the parent for infant's last weight. - Didn't ask the parent for medical history/allergies. - The Medical equipment were either missing or broken. I.e. (Otoscope, infant scale, stethoscope). - Medical supplies scattered everywhere. - Gloves worn all over and not changed. - No soap available near sinks to wash hands. - M.A. waited for parent to pay the co-pay before giving a statement about recommending going to the emergency room instead of being there. (A statement stuck behind a pay wall.) - Lack of an exam. "Medical provider" (did not introduce herself) came in the room. Parent stated it was a fever. The "provider" reviewed her chart. Sees that infant has a fever. Anything else wrong with the infant? Parent brought up the ear discharge. No Otoscope to use to inspect. Shined a light to the ear. Observed the infant's ears from a distance and determined ear infection. When asked if she is going to examine the ear; "Provider" admitted that they don't have the means to do so. Parent observed stethoscope around "provider's" neck but she did not listen to infant's heart or lungs. "Provider" stated that they will send antibiotics and Tylenol to the pharmacy without asking about allergies or verifying weight. The medication dosing/schedule was not clear. The ugly - Everything

I went to see this clinic ahead of a trekking trip in Peru. I had previously received the…read morerecommended vaccines but wasn't sure if I needed the yellow fever vax too. I was able to make a last minute appointment same-day which was truly clutch as other travel docs had nothing available for days. (Shame on me for waiting until the last second!) The building was relatively easy to find and the elevator took me nearly right to the front door of their suite. The waiting room has chairs spaced apart (likely still from COVID precautions) and was appreciated. Check-in was quite easy (a quick form on an iPad and a few questions on paper about the specific visit) though the front desk worker overcharged me. I sat in the waiting room for about 5 min past the scheduled appointment time but was called in right after which was refreshing as I know doctors often get backed up by the end of the day. The doctor himself was absolutely lovely! I mentioned where I was traveling and he was incredibly thorough with questions and determined I didn't need the yellow fever vaccine based on where I was going. He did prescribe a Z-Pak which was incredibly appreciated as I know others who did the same trip recommended it. He also had the front desk employee refund the overcharged amount. Overall I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a travel doctor and will absolutely be back ahead of my next trip!

I visited for a yellow fever vaccine, which involves a subcutaneous injection (administered into the fatty tissue beneath the skin). The injection site seemed a bit unusual (please see the attached picture), and later became inflamed, red, and swollen. I am planning to travel to Africa soon, and the doctor mentioned he would prescribe medication for traveler's diarrhea. However, when I went to the pharmacy, they gave me a prescription for malaria (something we had not discussed) and did not receive the Z-Pak prescription for traveler's diarrhea from the doctor's office. I had to return to the pharmacy the next day since they were closing.
