We go in and see the doctor. He says I don't need to see you back for several months, yet we still can't get prescription refills. Doctor Torres has been constantly "out on medical leave." There has also been times they have called to try and move appointment times up because the doctor wants to leave early. Meanwhile, my husband is taking time off work to go to his appointments! Just a complete disaster. Save yourself the hassle.

Before he started he talked to me explaining the procedure and the use of novocaine shots to numb the area. He emphasized I was to tell him if I felt any pain and he would inject more novocaine until I had NO pain. He kept his word and I thanked him for using small stitches- I was impressed By his technique.I am seeing him tomorrow so he can remove the stitches! In addition he ordered a tetanus shot and preventative Keflex because the wound was so close to the bone in the finger!!!!!!!!!! This staff clearly cared about my well being and outcome!!!!!

It was not crowded, and I didn't have to wait very long. The waiting room is nice, it's clean, and the staff were friendly and answered my questions. The doctor listened to me and asked appropriate questions, and prescribed the same medications my regular doctor would have given me for the sinus infection. In fact, I am pretty sure he is the same doctor who worked there several years ago when I took my daughter there. I was happy with them back then, too!

I had to come here as Social Security assigned him to me to do my Disability evaluation. From the…read moremoment I walked in the door the staff was hostile and rude and ableist openly making fun of me. Dr. Mark refused to wear a mask and actually slammed the door on my walker! He also had his receptionist slam the receptionist window in my face because I asked them to wear a respirator in an ongoing airborne pandemic. The receptionists also threatened to call the police on me because I asked for a letter saying he was refusing to do the examination for disability and refusing accessible accommodations. This is the only time I have ever reported a medical healthcare worker to the Florida Dept of Health as well as the AMA. This is not a doctor that should be allowed to practice and should never be assigned to vulnerable immune compromised patients from the social security disability office. I was thankfully assigned a different doctor for my evaluation who did mask with their staff and was the exact opposite of this office. I would say run away but if you are disabled then get out of there as soon as you are physically able to do so. Never ever go here. If I could give a negative review I would of below zero I would.

JFK, Overall I think this hospital is very professional and efficient. All staff was helpful. However, on the 3rd floor 3rd tower a patient asked for a change of gown and the staff never brought it. It was upsetting to the patient with fever and chills. It took all day to get medication of antibiotics approved. Where the delay was, I have no idea. I checked in at the nurses station and it helped get the process going. The other thing is the patient was hooked up on IV and requested to use the bathroom. No one came. The patient had to wait till am from night before to use the bathroom. Maria (PLT) spoke spanish. Was very efficient and kind to patient. Amor (PLT) was nice too Kaven Brown, RN I didn't meet her so I can't speak about her. Discharge was smooth. Not too much of a wait. The personnel at the front desk check in were so nice.
