After calling out from work, I looked around online and saw the minute clinic near me. They open up at 8:30 am and seem to close around 7-7:30 pm, with an hour closed for lunch (2 pm). Weekend hours are a bit shorter but I think they're open 7 days a week. Booked my appointment online, only had to wait about 10 minutes tops after arriving and checking in. After booking, you'll get texted/emailed a code, just type that in at the kiosk in the store and give them a few other pieces of info/sign crap, and you're good to go. It's located just off the pharmacy to the side, so you'll get to stare at the people waiting in the ridiculous pharmacy line while you wait! The provider (sadly I didn't get her name) was awesome. She did NOT order any unnecessary tests, especially knowing I was uninsured. She took the time to walk me over and get something OTC to help me out. I really appreciated that. I got my diagnosis without the ridiculous ER or walk-in clinic bill. In fact, minute clinic posts their prices online, so no big surprises if you're paying cash. I'd go here for any non-emergency if I couldn't see my PCP, or didn't have insurance. Heck, I'd still go back once insurance kicks in for simple stuff. I wish they had more of these and more providers like the one I saw today.

I get put on another 10 minute hold to be told that the PA ordered the test and the staff never sent it to the lab. They wanted me to come back in to be swabbed again then wait another 3 days for results. Unacceptable care. I coincidently received a voicemail yesterday to partake in a survey so I call today. The system asks for your 10-digit phone number. I entered it. Doesn't recognize it. Try my other number. Doesn't recognize that. I hang up and try one more time thinking I entered wrong. Still doesn't recognize the number they called me on. Avoid this place!

Walking in was a welcoming and boasted a very clean looking environment- giant lobby. I checked in and was called back to see Dr. Robert Lee within fifteen minutes. As is the story of my life - no apparent diagnosis from my dizziness and nausea. Dr. Lee performed some cognitive tests and checked my ears, nose, and throat . All good. He was perplexed as I'm already taking both Meclizine and Zofran, which aren't helping me at all. Dr. Lee swabbed me for COVID and Flu. Thank God - both negative. Next step is the E.R. - good times. Both the doctor and nurse listened to my concerns with my neck and problem I encountered at an ER visit the week prior and resolved them all. Recommending me to the correct specialists and corrected my medications as the one the ER doctor prescribed me were all giving me horrible symptoms mentally and physically.
