They do not do any in office covid or flu testing. You're told to go to the pharmacy and buy a test kit after paying your co-pay. I have them another chance because I felt horrible the other day. They sent a strep throat culture out. I called 4 days later as I did not receive results on the online portal. Waited 10 minutes on hold. Front desk told me if it wasn't on the portal, it wasn't ready. I questioned why it is taking so many days. I get put on another 10 minute hold to be told that the PA ordered the test and the staff never sent it to the lab. They wanted me to come back in to be swabbed again then wait another 3 days for results. Unacceptable care. I coincidently received a voicemail yesterday to partake in a survey so I call today. The system asks for your 10-digit phone number. I entered it. Doesn't recognize it. Try my other number. Doesn't recognize that. I hang up and try one more time thinking I entered wrong. Still doesn't recognize the number they called me on. Avoid this place! read more

The Cooper Urgent Care in Cherry Hill was pretty decent. Needed to find a good urgent care because I haven't been to any since COVID-19. Also, before then, a lot of urgent cares were a hit or miss. All of the nurses and doctor I encountered were all nice as well as helpful. Had to check out my chest/back area to make sure it was okay (thankfully it is). They used a few machines on me: EKG, X-ray, & blood pressure. Did not have to wait long to be seen. Was not busy on the Saturday afternoon when I arrived. Everything from the waiting area and the room appeared to be clean. Once I was in the room, they had a little TV which was nice -- while I waited for the doctor or nurse. I am appreciative and impressed by the level of care I received from Cooper Urgent Care. read more

This was my first time visiting an Urgent Care. My regular doctor was full and my sinuses were on fire, so the nurse at the doctor's office suggested Cooper. I went to Cooper during work hours and fortunately there was only one other patient in the waiting room. I had to fill out a few forms and and I was taken to an examination room fairly quickly. The facility is pretty nice and comfortable. After about a 10 minute wait, I was examined by a Nurse Practitioner. She confirmed I had Sinusitis and gave me some detailed information on how to treat it. With the over counter the drugs she recommended and some rest I was feeling much better the following day. She did give me a script for antibiotics but only if I did not improve using OTC drugs first. I still prefer seeing my regular GP family medicine doctor but Cooper Urgent Care was fine and A-OK. I am not sure how backed up they can get on weekends and evenings, but on this day I was in and out in less then 40 minuets. read more

I brought my son here in December for flu/ covid symptoms. They did a flu/Covid test. We were here, maybe a total of 25 minutes, tops. Fast forward, and I get a bill from Cooper University hospital for $233 for lab work. I call insurance, and basically, Cooper urgent care is sending two separate claims. One claim is as the urgent care for the office visit. The second claim is as a hospital for lab work. So do not go here unless you plan to be billed as if you went to a hospital. The Cooper billing department told me the urgent care bills as part of the hospital. Most insurance companies bill you much higher when you are at a hospital v. an urgent care. Also,not one person disclosed this information prior to giving him the tests. Had I known they were billing me as if I took him to the hospital, we wouldn't have ever agreed to the tests. Absolutely deceitful, and Virtua urgent care has never done this, despite also being affiliated with a hospital. They are two separate entities and should be billed as such. I have been to this urgent care facility quite a few times for me and my children. The staff is always friendly, the service has always been efficient, and the doctors are helpful and knowledgable. Today both Carla, the wonderful intake person, and Dr. Hong were awesome. There was also a wonderful Med Assistant and nurse who were kind and helpful. Even though there are other urgent care facilities that have popped up in my town, I will continue to use Cooper Urgent Care. I have never had a bad experience. read more

Just a warning -- this place doesn't know anything about medical care. My daughter went here for problems with pain in both her feet. No x-rays, just a quick exam and then they prescribed ibuprofen and told her to call the Cooper Orthopedic center. The woman who answered was incredibly rude and short-tempered and said she couldn't be seen until end of July. She could barely walk! So over to Rothman, they took her same day, were stunned no images were taken at Cooper and diagnosed her with achilles tendinitis. They took x-rays. The doctor was amazing, told her not to take the ibuprofen, but prescribed an anti-inflamatory and spent 10 minutes showing her the exercises she should do before standing and twice every hour. She was also told that if she had waited until July like Cooper wanted, she risked having her tendons snap and that would be catastrophic. I waited an hour and a half at Cherry Hill urgent care for my granddaughter to be seen. The support staff was very nice 2 stars. The PA and Dr never made it to our room to see her. People around us were seen but not us. Do not recommend this urgent care. read more

Visited the Urgent Care Cherry Hill Rte 70 location early at 8AM (as my regular Doctors only opens at 9:30AM) to get a painful Bug Bite treated and Antibiotics were prescribed. Spent may be 30min at the most. Was billed $340+ for this. This is almost 8 times what my regular doctor would have charged, if I just could bear the pain longer. I should have been informed before treatment what the charges approximately would have been. I would not recommend Cooper Urgent care to anyone in the future. read more

I was very pleased with the care I received at Cooper urgent care today. I was able to reserve a spot online and only had to wait a few minutes once I got there. I'm was here with my 12 year old. I found the front desk extremely pleasant with my daughter. We were seen in less then 15 minutes and in a room a total of maybe 10 before the Doctor came in. I practiced Nursing for over 20 years and I can not say enough POSITIVE things about this facility. I would come back here again in a heartbeat. read more

This place is horrible on a weekend. I was there today, a Sunday, with my 2 year old to see if he had an ear infection. There were about 4 people ahead of us when we got there. 45 minutes later they call us back, but just to get my insurance info. After she got all of my info, then she tells me it will be an additional 30-45 minutes. I debated even staying but I did. 40 minutes later they take us to an exams room where the nurse says it will be another 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes later, I decide to finally leave without ever being seen by a doctor. As we're walking out, the same nurse who brought us to the exam room 30 minutes earlier, told me to "take it easy." And the check in nurse who took our insurance info gave me an attitude when I told her not to submit our information to insurance because we were never seen. Only go here on a weekend if you absolutely cannot wait to see your regular doctor and then think twice about going here anyway. Probably better on a weekday but my experience here today was pretty bad. read more

REVISED 7/30/17 I had an online appointment but sat in the examining room over an hour. Doctor spoke with terms way over my head. I was told to go to cooper urgent care by my cooper internist because you have my records yet the doctor asked me what medicine I was on for an illness I had four years ago. He never even glanced at my records. This is my second visit there. Will never return. Altantic Urgent Care far surpasses cooper urgent care. Now I'm trying to get my pharmacy to take back this unnecessary medication Here again. When will I learn. Bad breath and quick visit. Not worth the money my insurance company pays for sure! Visit Cooper Urgent Care today if you are looking to be billed in error and sent to collections agencies because they are incompetent!!! This happened to both me and my boyfriend on three separate occasions. Each time I called it was, "Oh, I see that you made the payment while in the office, but it wasn't applied correctly. I will have my supervisor look into it and get it taken care of." Months later I start getting harassed by their collections agency. In my boyfriend's case, he was told to stop back in within three days of his first appointment if the treatment he was provided was not sufficient, and it would be considered a "follow up appointment" which would be free. Months later and he gets a bill for $300. Tried to fight it but they "have no way of proving that it was considered a follow up appointment". He talked to supervisor after supervisor who all promised that they would get it fixed. As you guess it, he's out $300 after either being told incorrect information, or just because someone in the billing department was not doing their job correctly. Take your pick here -- everyone's incompetent, so any guess as to who's at fault will likely be correct. Do not go here if you value your sanity (and money!). read more

I would give them no stars if that was an option. Gross negligence abounds at this place. I took my daughter there for a strep test on Sunday. The rapid test came back negative. I called on Tuesday and was told the test was not back yet and they would call if it was positive. Never heard back so I assumed she was good and it was just a virus. 10 days later we are at her pediatrician's office, another rapid strep test which was positive and I was informed by her pediatrician that Cooper NEVER SENT THE LAB TEST OUT. I called and was told it is at the physician's discretion whether or not they send it out. I was not informed of this and why when I called was I told that it had not come back yet? No explanation, only apologies. They will be really sorry if my daughter has any complications due to an undiagnosed strep. I will NEVER take anyone to this facility again. read more

Highly recommend: I come here fairly often & always have good experiences. The staff is friendly, location is clean--definitely much faster than any regular dr's I've gone too. Recently I came in with stomach pain & the girl up front got a nurse to see if they could help me there. They couldn't & I went to the ER but at least I didn't waste any time or money! I have visited this facility 3-4 times and have always had excellent and professional service. The last time, during the intake process, the nurse consulted with the physician on duty, I was informed that I was exhibiting possible stroke symptoms and they are not equipped to handle such emergencies. They called and informed VIRTUA Marlton Hospital that I was on my way. VIRTUA'S Emergency Room was waiting for me upon arrival, Diagnosed with a high fever and an infection, stoke tests, thankfully, were negative. Extremely pleased that Cooper Urgent Care Cherry Hill did not hesitate to escalate my treatment to a facility better prepared and equipped to treat this possible life threatening condition. read more

I have insurance I should be able to see my primary doctor but he's busy, fine so I go to urgent care in cherry hill and was seen by a nurse practitioner who I've been seen before. I am writing to express my disapproval with the Cooper facility at 2001 E Route 70. I arrived at the facility at 7:40 PM on Monday November 1. I was suffering from a broken finger and bleeding.. When I approached the desk the receptionist indicated no patients were being accepted. At first I was told I could not be helped because of a glitch with the computer system. When I complained I was informed that Cooper is a business and closes at 8 pm. I arrived within 15 minutes of closing. Well as a customer I will never be doing business with anything connected with Cooper in the future, I then drove to Lourdes Urgent care on Brace road and arrived at 7:55. This was my first visit to an urgent care facility. I hardly visit my doctor for a common cold but needed to get treatment for bronchitis like symptoms. I made my appointment on line and showed up on time. I waited 2 minutes and then was asked all my personal information. I then waited 5 minutes for a room, another 5-10 minutes for a doctor. The doctor spent as much time as my regular doc. I had my prescription automatically sent to my pharmacy and was out the door in 55 minutes. My pharmacy had the prescription when I got there. DO NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE REPORTED TO COLLECTIONS FOR THEIR MISTAKES! Went to be checked out after a car accident. Gave them my car insurance info as soon as I walked in the door and told them why I was there. They took down my car insurance info and the bill for me being seen was supposed to go to my car insurance. For FIVE months the bill continued to come to my house and every time I would call the billing department and give them my car insurance info and they would assure me it would go to the car insurance. And it never did. Now I have been reported to collections because of THEIR mistake. I called 10+ times trying to fix this issue before being reported to collections. I even told them that I was worried about my credit being affected because of their continuous mistakes. Now I would like to see how they are going to compensate me for allowing this to happen and for me getting reported because of THEIR continuous mistakes. I am trying to apply to jobs so now not only is my credit affected but now I may not be able to get my dream job. Thank you Cooper Urgent Care! Too bad there aren't negative stars. read more
