This review is for the minute clinic not the actual pharmacy at cvs. This "clinic" is low level care at best. If all you need is perhaps a sports physical they may be able to accommodate you. Anything other than that go to a proper urgent care. When I got there I asked for an rsv test as I had all the severe symptoms. She referred me to an urgent care. They don't have testing capability for rsv. I said to her you advertise as an urgent care and she said no we're a step below that level of care. So if you need real help don't bother with this place. They can offer very little in terms of care and treatment. read more

Just like those before me, it does not deserve one star and definitely not a gold one. This clinic is perhaps run by the rudest women I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. The first worker rushed me through the check in process and was, for no apparent reason I could see, extremely irritated at my pace. She kept telling me what to push without allowing me time to review what I was being asked. She then asked me to sit in the chair and wait. When the physician brought me into the room I asked her about an immunization that I needed. I was actually there for ear wax removal but saw a sign in the waiting room advertising immunizations. To make a long story short the physician was soooooooooooooo rude about the question I was asking. And I guess I touched my mask so she told me if I touched my mask one more time she would dismiss me from my appt. My hearing is bad so I didn't hear what she said at first so she repeated herself and at that point I had to dig deep to continue with the appt. Not because of what she said but how she said it. The rudeness from her never dissolved and there is more to say about my experience but to make a long story short, please find an alternative clinic or doctors office. I chose to leave the appt before I was treated. To whoever is managing this location I urge you to reconsider who is working there and the kind of care they give patients. I'm not sure if someone can be trained in the art of being kind but perhaps you might try. read more

The store itself is not too bad. They carry health and beauty and over the counter medications you need. I always find the cutest Ty Beanie Hello Kittys here. My xtreme couponer friends go crazy since they have good deals. Getting help here is bizarre though. Like in the twilight zone bizarre. The couple times Ive come here to buy random things the cashier is just standing there staring off into space. I stand there a few seconds as well waiting for the first movement then have to ask "are you open?/" Happens every time I've gone here. It's quite comical. If you don't have your CVS card, which usually is the case with me since I hardly ever go here, they'll look it up and punch in your phone number right? Well not this one particular cashier. There has to be a better system than this. 10/18 Went to this MinuteClinic on Sunday, 10/13. The nurse who helped me was very sweet and eager to answer my questions and help me. She swabbed my throat, because she saw evidence that could be strep throat. Today, minuteclinic leaves me a voicemail saying that they couldn't process my swab samples because the test/sample wasn't marked properly..... So nothing could be done with it. And to be honest , their employees have come to be not very nice at all. I like this little location. A little smaller than my old location but it fits the needs. I also like that they have a quick care facility inside. Ideal if I just need to run my senior mom in for any unexpected emergencies like scorpion stings (hopefully not! My new neighborhood has an infestation). The clerks in here are always friendly and although the parking lot always seems full, when you walk in there's hardly anyone inside. Kinda weird. This is a great place to grab the essentials if you don't feel like hoofing it all the way to Walmart. They also have a Redbox (or DVD Express maybe? They're both red so I can never tell) outside if you want to grab a quick movie and you live in the nearby neighborhoods. read more

I wasn't sure it would be possible for me to dislike a pharmacy more, but CVS has achieved this! I was a customer here for years. As my previous review states - the drive through window is always SO slow. I still can't figure it out. You aren't allowed to fill prescriptions there, just drop them off or pick them up, so what the heck is taking so long?? After years of being unhappy with the service and friendliness of employees, including the constant "auto refill" reminders, when I specifically declined this, I decided to take my scripts elsewhere. Funny thing, after about 6 months I got a call from the pharmacy saying I had prescriptions to pick up. I ignored these calls, but they continued. I called and explained that I was no longer a customer and to leave me alone! The calls stopped for awhile and then a few months later started again. This place is such a joke! Do yourself a favor and fill your scripts elsewhere. They have entirely too many customers here to know what's going on and you'll end up frustrated just like me! read more

for customer service only review I was just in the store I have a Jeep with no top on I have a little dog that would jump out of my Jeep I understand policies but a crown just fell out of my mouth I went into the store carrying my dog walk through the entire store stood in line behind People just to have the man tell me I can't be in the store with the dog once I got up there to pay for my stuff I will absolutely never ever be in your CVS ever again!!! In a panic because my Primary Care Dr went "VIP" and was in so much pain from a Sinus Infection, I made an appt here. Logged in at 9:30, appt Scheduled for 10:03 and was seen by 10:10! The NP Simone was kind, knowledgeable and listened to everything I had to say. My prescription was ready a half hour after and I was in my way! Thank you CVS. With Rite Aid no longer part of the Vegas Valley, Walgreen's and CVS are now pretty much the only 2 major drug store chains present. CVS, like Walgreen's, has a ton of stores around the valley. However, if you consider this competitors to be at battle, Walgreens, not CVS, wins that battle. Don't get me wrong, CVS is a terrific pharmacy/drugstore chain. Like Walgreen's, they carry a little bit of everything. However, compared to that other chain, their stores are generally set up in a more confusing manner and they have less of a selection of all kinds of inventory on hand. They will probably have what you're looking for, but I like to be able to have a one-stop shop for everything. CVS doesn't quite fit the bill. I have never received truly exceptional service from either drug store chain, however as a general rule Walgreen's tends to have better employees. During one visit to a CVS (not this particular location), I accidentally hit the wrong button during a debit transaction, and after unsuccessfully scanning the card (even though I had done everything right), the clerk just rudely said "slide it!" Doubt I'll go back to THAT particular store again. As a whole CVS is good, but it's a classic example of "anything you can do, I can do better", with Walgreen's being the one speaking that classic phrase. So unless I'm super-close to a CVS and have a relatively simple need, I'll be going to Walgreen's instead. read more

I wish I had the option for no star. I came today simply for a ear wax removal. The lady I had said the wax in my right ear was to hard to remove, said not to touch it for a week. She prescribe me amoxicillin for an "infection". I left with my ear ten times more clogged. Needless to say I know myself and I know that I'm not sick it was just wax build up. So I paid total, 180 for to be seen and for a prescription. I can't believe that she didn't even try to get the wax out. I went to an urgent care near me the took care of me within 5 min, sadly same price but they took great care of me with a simple procedure. So all in all it is definitely worth going there & I left the urgent care with clean ears. Do not go to this place! The last couple of times I was there I had Good Service at the Pharmacy. I have not gone thru the drive thru in awhile. The line is always 5 cars plus or more.. I go inside now. The line is a lot shorter. Also I can have face to face contact and know who I am talking to. New Employees Amanda and Momeith are Great assists to the Henderson Location. This is an unfortunate review to write. Although I have no expectations at a cvs in either direction I usually I have a decent experience at this store and pharmacy. While I was at cvs pharmacy to drop off a prescription to be filled I was greeted by a rude snotty pharmacy tech, who continued to talk to me as if it were a bother that she had to do her job. Although the manager stepped up to finish the job for the tech, there is no reason to allow poor customer service in any industry let alone healthcare. I feel that this town is plagued with entitled people who care little about customer service hopefully out reviews will change that! read more

Terrible service and ridiculous slow lines, terrible communication with staff and many unnecessary complications

I have always had a great experience at this location. Our friend was murdered and I needed to get some photos printed for her guest book and memorial. Debbie was so sympathetic and caring. She helped me so much with the photos and sizes. We tried several versions. I was there for awhile, and the staff couldn't have been more gracious. And they were also gracious to the rest of the customers who came in that evening. Upbeat and friendly. The next visit was the same experience. And Oscar has the patience of a saint. My phone was not cooperating, and he spent at least a half hour with me to make sure I could print more photos. Thank you all for your kindness! read more

I'm waiting here after my boyfriend and I sign in at the podium. A lady signs in after us and says hi to the "doctor," as the last patient leaves. The "doctor" (a nurse practioner) then calls her in immediatly and leaves us here waiting. I normally wouldn't complain but I can clearly hear them chit chatting about personal matters while we've been here waiting for 10+ minutes before the other lady even showed up to sign in. If you have the audacity to let your friend cut in line, at least keep it professional and talk about chipindales on your own time. We decided to get our tests done elsewhere, very disappointed. I would avoid this clinic unless you are best friends with Cheryl Darby, otherwise you'll be treated like your time doesn't matter. read more

The RNP was thorough in reviewing my health history and was very gentle with administering my flu shot which was $45. $30 to read my TB screening. Fees are a bit pricey but when isn't any medical care? Making an appointment was very convenient & checked in online. I was happy to get an out on a Saturday. I really have tried on numerous occasions in the years I've been in the area to give CVS "another chance". At times the staff have been courteous and helpful, maybe they don't get paid well because quickly the competent and efficient ones running circles around the rest just pack up and leave. The ones that stay end up stressed out, and perpetually annoyed. Forgive me for coming in after you texted me that my prescription was ready. Yes I am put out after I drove my happy butt over here and its not actually ready, or you only counted out 6 pills when I should receive 24. Honestly the only reason I have stayed this long is for convenience, (it's close to my house and right off the freeway). I need to rethink that since I usually end up making phone calls and returning to the store to correct errors. It is always a frustrating encounter, I have experienced a series of non-sensical errors, and people act put out and mad at you when they make a mistake. Honestly its like talking to a wall. You try to be calm use reason and logic and the responses you get make you wonder if they aren't using the drugs back there. My closest CVS did not have the medication I needed. They did not volunteer info about which other CVS might have it in stock. They said I could call around until I found a CVS that DID have it in stock. (I loved doing that while really, really sick.) I found the drug at Horizon-Horizon. They said they would call my local CVS to transfer the prescription and it would be ready in about an hour. And, 1.25 hours later, they didn't have the prescription or any curiosity as to WHY they don't yet have it. They insisted the other store didn't send it. Other store says they did. So then they decided that maybe the fax machine was broken. Horizon-Horizon store FINALLY CALLED the other store and got the prescription....and then tells me that the wait will be an hour or more because they are busy. Hello? You haven't noticed that I've ALREADY waited over an hour? And that this is a serious medication, that costs well over $1000 for 10 days worth to treat a very serious illness. I need to get it and start taking it, NOW. So I tell them that I will be glad to wait behind anyone who has waited longer than 1.5 hours and who also has a very serious illness that can easily be fatal. When my husband got there, it WAS ready. But these staff members are the face of CVS in MY part of the world...their performance is CVS customer service to me. it's a shame that they need flash cards and hand holding to do their jobs. I will get prescriptions at my local CVS when the one other pharmacy in town is closed. Other than that, I will stay away. read more

My family picks up all their prescriptions from this location and it never takes long, I'm talking 2 mins. maximum. The employees are friendly, it's usually very quiet inside (given it's remote location), and there's a drive thru pharmacy option for times when you're feeling lazy. read more

I use this cvs all the time. But some of the people behind the counter at the pharmacy are very rude espacly Lisa every time I get her at the counter I just want to leave and come back on her day off. she is very rube and questions the meds I take. last time I check she was not the doctor that I went and saw that gave me witch meds to take. I wish I did not have to take any meds but to have to be questioned and in a rude manner by Lisa makes me never want to go to cvs ever again. For now I will only go to pick up meds when I dont see her there I will leave and come back a different day. I've been to this CVS pharmacy a couple of times now. Each time, the service has been quick and friendly. I drop off my prescription and it's ready within 10 or 15 minutes. The pharmacy is one of those places in life where you just don't want a hassle... and there's definitely been none of that here. read more

Prescriptions always filled pretty quickly. Within 15-20 minutes of leaving the doctors office I receive a text that my prescriptions are ready to be picked up. Super convenient to pick them up on my way home. They seem to be significantly understaffed at pickup. Takes longer to actually get the medicine then it took them to fill it. Have never had any serious issues as most of the staff is friendly and seem to be doing the best they can being short staffed. read more

This CVS is certainly not geared to helping and finishing a transaction with a customer standing at their pharmacy line. The Pharmacist does not look up a customers and the 2 young girls working with the customers do not finish a transaction. They also are not at all customer service oriented. read more

This review is specifically for the pharmacy. Quick care called in a antibiotic for my daughter to this location. Called and was told 40-60 minutes but CVS called 10 minutes later saying it was ready. Went thru the drive-thru and was told there was problems with my insurance. So, I go inside and wait for 15 minutes to be told I have to wait another 30-45 minutes since there was a problem with the insurance. I asked if there was a way they could expedite since I had a really sick kid in the car and was told that was expedited and the pharmacy tech, Chad, was flat out rude and said I have to wait. So, I drive home (10 minute drive) and call my insurance to fix the problem low and behold by the time I get home CVS is calling that the Rx is ready so I turn around and head back to CVS. No apology for my inconvenience!! Will not use the location again!! Retrain Chad on his customer service skills!! read more
