I had to be seen due to a displaced fracture of the cuboid bone. The NP and x-ray tech were great but the MA or Nurses Assistant needs some schooling. He had to be told not to take my BP until the I had sat for a few minutes and not while talking bc it gives an inaccurate reading. Then he didn't even ask if I knew the correct method to put an ace bandage on a fractured foot. Admittedly it's been over two decades since I had to use an ace bandage. So no I had to look it up. When I was preparing to leave I was very dizzy due to orthostatic hypertension. Which caused blurred vision. The MA went a head of me to hold the door open. The NP saw I was dizzy bc I bumped into the wall and brought over a wheelchair while the male MA just stood there with a blank stare Lastly, the male MA gave me crutches and when I got home saw I that he put each one at different heights. Another reason I bumped into the wall. Oh, I only learned about the RX they sent to the wrong pharmacy bc I was reading my records. The NP or MA didn't even tell me about the RX. Two months ago my husband went to this location. The doctor took a listen to his lungs, left the room and the MA came to say 5 RX would be called in no explanation. My husband had to return a week later at which time they did an x-ray to determine he had the pneumonia. So why wasn't that done on the first visit? read more

I was sent here to be in network. I did all of the research before I got in my car to drive my infected throat 18 miles. Despite telling check in my copay was 0 I was charged $40. I was given a referral that I cannot use so have to go see my primary care doctor anyway. I contacted my insurance to confirm my copay and called CareNow about a refund. The same $40 they insisted I had to pay will be returned to me via USPS paper check in about a month. Sounds like a very high priority for someone I confirmed my insurance with before I ever walked in the door. If I could give them 0 stars. I would. Hubby went in as he was having severe shoulder pain due to sleeping wrong and needed muscle relaxers as it was spasming. He had to plea with the doctor for any sort of medication and the doctor literally gave him no treatment/directions on what he could do to alleviate the pain. The doctor was NOT caring, and kept looking at his watch, literally took 2 minutes to assess my husband AND then didn't even ask if he had any questions. NOT to mention. Almost 8 months after this visit they billed our insurance wrong and tried to charge us hundreds of dollars for this visit when they initially told us it would only be the copay and no additional charge. We called to get it corrected and they wanted to argue, so we called our insurance and they did a three way call WITH their billing department and let them have it! Came in very sick on a Friday evening. Fever 102, sore throat, earache, and joint pain. Cultures were negative ( I came in early, I'm a respiratory therapist) and that's all they needed. Out the door. They treat the lab results not the patient. MD didn't look in my throat or ears. Did a fake chest review, I know how that should be done. I have hypertension (comorbidity). This place is a JOKE. I am a cash payment and they sent me a bill showing my insurance paid a certain portion of some made up total they decided I needed to pay. If that doesnt show you how inept they are at their jobs I dont know what will. I came to this place because they were highly rated in my area and they have a highly rated supporting hospital. My daughter needed to be seen for an ear ache.The lobby was empty, no one was waiting at all. There were two people working the front desk, one was busy and didn't acknowledge us, the other was short and directed us to tge kiosk to check in. The kiosk directed us to complete check-in on our phones, and the woman told us without prompt to sit and complete the check-in before coming back to the counter. My wife completed the process and went back to her at the counter and she was again short and told my wife to work with the other woman who had never acknowledged us. I have to say that I am quite appalled by this quick care. I went in with a potential broken hand this past week and got an x-ray on my forearm. When I stated something about it being the wrong part of my arm to the tech, I was quickly told that my hand would be included in the imaging. I got a call the next day saying nothing was broken, I still had my doubts however and went in to receive a copy of said x-rays. No hand imaging was included and the image was of my forearm... I am very upset with the way they have handled things and treated me. When I tried asking for them to make things right, I was told I would have to pay for another x-ray even though they are the ones who messed up the first time. Brought my husband here recently. It was around 8pm and did not want to wait 6 hours in the hospital er to be seen so we went here as it was close to our house. They close at 9 pm and there was only 1 other person waiting to be seen. We were guided to an automated check in on line and was seen by the dr shortly after completing the insurance information. She ran tests and gave him his prescriptions. She advised us she faxed his meds to the pharmacy we asked to be sent to and also gave us a hard copy Incase they did not receive. We were out before 9pm and on our way to the pharmacy. Before we left the waiting area the staff was closing down and cleaning up. They started spraying sanitizer at us, I was like wth can you wait until we leave. Also when we went to the pharmacy to pick up his meds we were told they never received his prescriptions. I came here this morning due to a skin rash that occurred yesterday morning. It was at least 90 percent improved by using calamine lotion and taking prednisone at home. I showed the doctor the pictures from when it first started and after it had spread from me scratching and taking a shower in hot water (I did not know that this should not be done). He immediately started discussing Scabies. I asked him what that was. He mentioned "dirty sheets". Hmmm.... dirty sheets. Why would I sleep on dirty sheets. This was after I explained that 3 hours prior to the rash I had shook the hand of a homeless man. I asked if this could have been the cause. He said no. Really? My sheets at home are dirty but the homeless man could not be a carrier of the scabies. Weird. Okay. I thought we ruled out the scabies possibility. He brought it up again. I asked where do they come from. I asked how long they take to appear. He said about 2 days. I thought about it and said that I had return from the Dominican Republic about a week ago. I stayed at a resort. I There was potential there only if he had not said 2 days. He kept choosing that words. Unfortunately, I now think he is closed minded and has lived in Nevada too long. I am a married woman that lives in a clean home with my husband. I think he's hot his mind in the gutter and needs to listen to his patients I researched scabies when I came home. They typically leave bumps between the fingers, under the bra line, in the groin. I did not express or show any issues on those areas. Also they are pimple like. I had what looked more like a heat rash upon onset and by the time I had my visit it was just flat, red areas. Certainly not pimple like. Scabies comes from mites and they burrow into the skin. You can actually see where they moved under the skin. This doctor is not good and should not be diagnosing anything. I give 2 stars because the staff is nice. read more

If I could give this rating no stars I would. For starters I have NEVER posted a review but I felt this one was necessary. I have been going to this urgent care for about a year now and I haven't had a single visit where I have felt helped. I did continue to go back because it's the nearest location to me and covered by insurance. The last visit was on 10/08/22 having now been sick for 3+ days. I went in barely being able to swallow because my throat hurt so bad. They performed a strep test which came back negative. That was it. The doctor said try some meds at home, good luck. I tried everything in my medicine cabinet and nothing has helped. It has now been a week since that visit and I have an acute bronchitis infection due to lack of treatment. 10/10 do NOT recommend read more

They give you a time for your appointment which was 6:36. I made sure I was on time. By 9:00 I was still waiting to be called back. There is a web site to update you as to how many people are in front of you. It said 2 people were in front of me and it said that for at least 45 min. When 2 people were done and left I figured I would be called back. Well to my surprise they called someone who came in 30 min after me. That was when I had enough and I finally left with not seeing the doctor. I will never go back there. To have to sit for 3 hours when you're sick is not fun. I've had to go to this place a few times as this is the closest urgent care. Let met save you some long-term hassle, just avoid this place at all cost. It's hit/miss if they'll accept walkins because the place is always overcapacity and the waits are long. Even if you go first thing in the morning before they open. The front desk staff is hit/miss as well. There have been times where they're super nice and helpful, even if they have a crazy long line of people but that doesn't negate the terrible experience. God help you if you interrupt their gossip time to check in. The nurses and the doc are really attentive so they have that going for them. I'm now working with my insurance to fix their incorrect coding. Don't bother calling their billing department. The lady that answered was snarky and rude and told me too bad, the bill is what it is, and she won't correct it. She continued to tell me my diagnosis and why I went in for my visit. Which was all INACCURATE. My insurance was floored and is now handling it. I get it, people are crabby because they're all overworked. But who isn't these days? That doesn't mean it's ok to take out your unhappiness on customers. If this job is so terrible, there's a handful of other places that are hiring.
