I've been to this office before, but today's experience was very disappointing. I called to make an…read moreappointment and was left on hold so long I just drove over. When I walked in, the receptionist rudely yelled, "Do you have an appointment?!" with no greeting or professionalism. She continued to be rude, harsh, and spoke very loudly while attending me, which made the experience even worse. The office wasn't busy, yet there were still three of us waiting while staff chatted instead of working. When I was finally called back, the nurse addressed me only by my last name with no greeting, which felt cold and unprofessional. The one positive was that the nurse practitioner who saw me was nice and welcoming, but the process overall could have been much more efficient. Front desk and nursing staff set the tone for a visit, and in this case it was negative enough to make me consider going elsewhere.

I had a noon reservation and the lady that kept loudly complaining who was a 12:20 appointment (confirmed by her loudly talking about it) and got there after me, got seen and left before me. After waiting 1.5 hours I asked how much longer and told I was next. After another 30 minutes I asked someone else and was told there was another person ahead of me. Only after pointing out the discrepancy did they confirm I'd finally be seen. The swab was taken by writing my first name only, swabbing and putting it back in the opened package. Any other urgent care I've been to always has a label with patient info (how are you keeping samples straight without my last name?) and into a sterile tube after swabbed. The provider was fine and front desk staff very nice, but they have absolutely no organization and I would not return.

When leaving the nurse told me my prescription was ready at the pharmacy and the Dr. told me she can prescribe it in the clinic , she then let me leave only to drive back when I realized she was wrong and they were suppose to give me the medication causing me to drive back. I drove him to the Care Spot that's 5 minutes from my home. We arrived at 7:51pm and they close at 8pm. Even though it was late they still saw us and provided very kind service. I was especially impressed with the attentive care of the nurse and doctor in the back. They were so kind and caring and I really appreciated it. He ended up having Strep throat and they recommended we get the meds from a 24 hour pharmacy that wasn't too far away. Everything went smoothly and overall I would definitely go back there whenever one of us gets sick again. We were out of there within 35 minutes.

Dr Olivia Dennis was absolutely fantastic and very thorough. She took her time to ensure all my concerns and symptoms were addressed and ensured my medication was sent to the pharmacy before I left. The staff behind the doors were amazing , I think the receptionist at check in may need a gallon of happy juice as they are not the friendliest but maybe it was a rough start to their day. Either way I'm pleased overall with the care I received.

I have to go back for a redrawn and was pricked 6 times. The specimen on the redraw was not good too because it was not incubated as it should. They are delaying to start my new job due to their poor practices. Please stay away from this Urgent care.
