I gotta say...I've been getting my RE business cards done here for years. Nothing big. But last week, I had a huge EMERGENCY. Office printer went down. Had to present at pitch meeting at 2P same day. Needed (5), 48 page, two sided with spiral and clear front brochures put together for the big pitch. I walked in at 1:15P sweating and let Alvin and Craig know I was desperate. After a couple of minutes of them seeing if they were able to jump me to the front of the line and me begging, they did it. Big WHEW! They came thru. Finished in about 20 min. Looked great. Fraudulent business practice. We were quoted a price for the printing of two signs. As soon as the credit card was charged, I got a call from the company saying that they did not charge me enough for the service. I implored them that we just paid and they need to honor the quote provided. They were incredibly rude and demanded that I paid more on top of what was charged. Deeply disturbed by this. STAY AWAY. Absolutely fantastic service and SO quick. Of course, based on how busy they are, printing times can vary. However, I put in a rush order for 200 business cards and they finished printing them within less than an hour. I called and spoke with Herbert, who directed me to his email. After I sent the PDF file, Herbert called back to confirm receipt and note a small potential issue. Once I gave the go-ahead to print, he transferred me to Craig who took and processed my payment immediately. Both people I spoke to were exceedingly helpful and polite. All in all, what could have been a disastrous and stressful affair turned out to be the easiest task I've done this week. I was in need of getting photo enlargements as well as prayer cards printed up for my fathers memorial. These guys were not only efficient, but professional in not only coming through on what they stated they would do, but also producing fantastic results. The prayer cards as well as all the photo enlargements came out great. It wasn't easy by any means, as one of the photos were not exactly in the greatest condition and we had a tight time frame. They were able to have that photo as well as all the other photos came out as good as new within the requested time frame. They looked even better than the original photos and they received great compliments at the memorial. Service is great as Gavin will make sure that your needs are met. Their prices are fair, they have GREAT customer service skills, they are sweet, kind and funny =) I recently needed some flyers printed for a lost dog (I've used them for more then flyers) and Staples wanted to charge me $0.49 for color copies. REALLY? What costs that much? Then I thought about Minuteman Press, not sure why I didn't think of them first, that was mistake number 1. He listened patiently to my request - could he print a greeting on the back of my 120 lb stock, 5 x 7 holiday greeting cards? He could and gave me a quote. Within the half hour, I was at their store. In less than 20 minutes, I left with my completed print job. The price was the lowest in the range he quoted me over the phone. My company has been ding business with this company for a while. We constantly have to follow up with them and not the other way around. The last straw was when we approved a booklet on a Monday to be picked up on Friday. Thursday night we were sent proofs. Friday morning we asked them if the booklets were ready for pick up. They stated that we needed to approve the proofs. After explaining to them that this was already done on Monday. Their response was "if you don't like it take your business elsewhere". Their conduct now means that will not have our booklets ready for a HUGE potential client meeting. Extremely unprofessional and will no longer spend a penny with them. My company had the absolute worst experience with Minuteman Press!!! If you want to save all of your stress and efforts, go elsewhere. Their team is unprofessional and unorganized. Every time we call and ask for Garth they say he will get back to us and never does. Also, they say they will have our projects done by a specific time, but when we call to follow up they haven't even started it yet!!!! Just Fyi, I've never made a review before, but I feel like I need to, just because of how great this printer is. I've been to several printers and none are of this printer's quality. This is going to be my new printer from now and on. I called earlier not knowing about this place and the dude (forgot his name whoops) took care of me right away. During the call I asked if I could use my own paper and he let me use my own paper! Sweet. Upon arriving there, he was quick and he understood what type of project I had. This dude was so nice, he even had me not pay for anything since I was using my own paper. Just to conclude, as graphic designer, my projects involve a ton of printing. And as far as quality goes, I expect my prints to have color consistency and a crisp, sharp look. And overall, this printer has done exactly that. read more
