My experience at this Staples has consistently been 5 stars except on my recent trip. I pick up prints a lot here and this last time there was someone at the print station but they were just helping one person at a computer for the first 10 minutes I was waiting. It was only until multiple people got in line behind me and looked for another associate to help us that someone came over. Then this employee had sunglasses on. I'm not sure if it was a medical need but wanted to note it. I never want to tell anyone how to do their job but the customer service at my last visit could be improved Overall, Staples is a great place to print documents & simple prints. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever I live one block away from this Staples and I go out of my way to go to the Westlake Village one. So I've had three bad encounters and today was the first bat encounter that included the party city entity. I went to Westlake Village to get some foil balloons that weren't available at Woodland Hills. But I wasn't sure that I could fill the rest of my car with the black latex ones so I came all the way back to my house to unload the foil ones and went next-door to Woodland Hills to fill my latex balloon order, which I could not pre-order online because online said you had to go directly to the store. I showed up at 2 PM. There was absolutely nobody manning the party city desk and there were four girls and a manager giggling in the corner doing absolutely nothing. I waited for two minutes. Nobody even acknowledge that I was there and then when I walked up, the manager said they couldn't fill an order for 10 to 15 balloons because they had 23 back orders and not enough labor to fulfill them. They literally said they couldn't take walk up orders when I just came from the Westlake village and they fulfilled a walk up order no problem. There was nobody in the store and there were absolutely no filled balloons in the balloon catch net so if they had 23 balloon orders, they were incredibly far behind and not filling a one of them they were five people, literally doing nothing. They wouldn't fill my order and this was just like the very last straw for me never again and so sad for Party City. I will just go to Michael's or travel 12 miles out of my way to get somebody to not treat me like I'm putting them out to do their job. read more

The Amazon return line wasn't clearly marked, so I stood waiting while employees didn't acknowledge me. When another customer arrived, Andrew, one of the employees, helped her first even though I had been waiting. After I pointed it out he started helping me, but then stopped mid-return to assist her again. The manager (blonde woman) seemed annoyed and offered no apology. Instead of addressing the issue, it felt like the situation was brushed off. Clear line organization and basic fairness in helping customers should be expected. Unfortunately this experience left a very poor impression. I hope Staples management looks into improving organization, fairness, and customer service at this location. read more

Maybe just a bad day? "Monika" whom seems to be manager at this location, was very rude to a customer simply asking for assistance at the printing station. She even went as far to say "SIR C'MON" when he was asking questions. Not sure what happened to this location's team. 2/3 employees I spoke to this morning seemed miserable. When asking an employee at the register, "is that lady your manager? She's very rude". I was met with, "she just comes off that way, she's nice when you get to know her" ??? If I could put a zero I would. Waited patiently for the only person in print for 30 minutes. She then started to help me and after less than 5 minutes I see her manager call her over. She then went in a cupboard, grabbed her lunch and left without a word. I stood there another 10 minutes and no one came to help or take over. I then asked for manager so he could tell me what was going on. Informed me she had to leave for lunch that minute due to state laws. He did not know how to work anything in print (why not?) His name is Shaun and he had a horrible attitude. After over 45 minutes there, no one could help me and manager never apologized and was extremely rude. Blatant racism and incompetence at this Staples--avoid at all costs. I placed a simple online order for in-store pickup to save time and be efficient. The item was under $10, and I expected a quick process. Instead, I was met with confusion, lies, and what I can only describe as blatant racial bias. When I arrived, the cashier--who was a young Black woman and the only helpful person in this entire experience--initially tried to assist me. She couldn't find my order under my name, so I provided my boyfriend's name (whose card was used for the purchase), and suddenly, they located it. It became clear that no one at this store knew how to process an online pickup. I asked if they could just cancel the order so I could purchase the item outright, and that seemed to require multiple employees for a simple transaction. As I waited, I decided to handle the cancellation myself and just buy the item. When I approached the cashier to ask for the location of the item directly, what I assume was the supervisor turned to me and said the order would be shipped--despite already admitting it was an in-store pickup. When I pushed back, stating that the item was specifically listed as "one-hour pickup" and wasn't even available for shipping on their website, she outright lied and claimed they didn't even carry it. Let me be clear: this item was only available for in-store pickup, yet she had the audacity to tell me they never carried it at all. After wasting my time searching the store myself, I left. The only reason I even got some level of help was because of the Black cashier who initially assisted me. If it weren't for her, I doubt anyone would have even bothered. Meanwhile, I watched other customers walk in and out with no issue. To top it all off, I called Staples customer service after leaving, and they confirmed the order was processing and would be ready soon--proving that I was being blatantly lied to in the store. The representative on the phone was able to cancel it for me immediately, something the in-store employees conveniently couldn't figure out. This wasn't just bad customer service--it was dismissiveness, incompetence, and clear racial bias. If you value your time and expect to be treated fairly, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Manager Nancy is so helpful, professional, caring about the customer, and knowledgeable about all products. We bought an Epson bottle ink printer from Staples and it turned out to be a lemon. She was very helpful in navigating our return under the warranty and helped us purchase an HP with the same kind of ink insertion. She is always patient and accessible when we ask questions. She runs a tight ship, and I think it shows in the positive attitude of her workers as well. PS: I do not recommend an Epson Eco bottle, ink printer . The ink lasts for a very long time, but there are a lot of communication problems between the printer and digital devices. This is the second one I purchased because the ink is so economical (the other one was problematic too) The printer does a good job - when it's working. But it intermittently does not print scan, etc. Beware. read more

They have a print station and for two documents in color it was $1.62. I liked it when they did it for you to be honest but I was able to make it work. The printing station is pretty straightforward with the instructions. It's crazy how the prices online are 50% less than the prices in store. a lady helped me because I was clearly struggling but I did have to ask her for help. Staples Copy and Print is super convenient to use, in my opinion. If you order before 12 PM, they can have certain things ready by the end of the day! This particular Staples location has been very helpful. Our animal hospital recently had an open house and needed quite a few things printed (poster on foam board laminated, color copies on glossy paper, etc.) Brittney and team were super accommodating and easy to work with. read more

I went to the store @830am to have some pages laminated. The person who helped me didn't take my name only wrote down my number. I called later to see if pages were laminated they told me that wouldn't be done until 7pm. I told them that I needed it before 4pm they then changed the time to 4pm before hanging up. I typically go to office depot but I thought I would go here to same some money. Office depot would have gotten the job done quicker. STAPLES offers a quick turnaround if order by 12pm. I did that and yet it is going to take hours to get my lamination done. read more

Once again, I am reminded why I go to Office Depot instead of Staples. I had bought printable, magnetic business cards, to print some cards for a friend. I had never done that before, so I figured I would give it a try. Thankfully, the sheets came apart before I put them in the printer. I went to return them, no receipt, and I had replaced the credit card that I had bought the magnetic sheets with, due to fraud. I told the manager that I would take Store credit, but she said that she could only give me the lowest price on the system, which was $.55. At least now I know that I never have to waste my time coming to Staples again. I guess that's worth something. read more

If you plan on using this locations iPostal1 service, be expected to receive THE worst customer service. One of the times I showed up about 4 mins before they were supposed to close, and the manager literally pretended like he couldn't see me at the door. They actually locked the doors BEFORE closing time. The second time, I called ahead of time knowing I'd be showing up just as they were closing... I get to the door and he's talking to me through the door telling me he can't let me in. I don't tend to write reviews but here we are... I tried getting a print of tickets with files I had prepared. Absolutely terrible service as well as quality. The two women who worked the printing services last night were utterly unconcerned about the job I was trying to detail out. Didn't care to quote me or get clarification on the details of the job. And therefore, they got the quantity as well as the size of the prints wrong. They didn't do anything to amend the situation and told me that if I want them to do it again I'd have to wait till the next day as they are busy. My job was literally to only print 5 pages worth of tickets... After telling them how frustrated I was regarding their service, they shrugged, gave an obligatory "sorry" and promptly charged me for the "proof" that one of them had printed out - with an "expedited charge". My home printer is at war with my iPhone and MacBook. I just needed two copies and I thought of Staples. The store I used to go to (reluctantly, very poor service) is long gone on Victory Bl and Canoga. I took my flash drive over to the Erwin location. A young woman associate with glasses (and i did not get her name) was efficient( she juggled three of us at once) friendly and understood my frustration. She asked the right questions to match my needs and I was in and out in minutes. She is an asset to that location, and I now have a nearby Staples. read more
